Mystical Academy: The Mystery of the World

I feel like bouncing. My throat is dry and I needed water. I lazily open my eyes and saw a little light. I groan and again, my head hit the wooden wall. I close my eyes again and breathed as I heard the sound of the horse. Then voices, clinging of chains, footsteps of horses into a concrete road. I open my eyes to see the closing of the wall.

I was dragged out the carriage and I can't even feel my feet walking, but was dragged instead. Until I heard pouring of water, a fountain? Then, a slippery floor. When I open my eyes my face is facing down the porcelain floor. Damn! Am I going to meet another royal psycho's? I heard laughing and I didn't look up. I was dropped down the floor and I manage to stop falling my face by my arms. My wrist that are in cold metallic cuffs are heavy and it pains.

"You caught her too soon?" the funny voice asked. I sigh and sat on the floor. I look around to see a pond on inside then few fountains. Wow, it was gorgeous here. Then I looked at the thrones that are made of big shells. What a comfy thrones. "Is this the girl?"

"Yes, your majesty."

"Wow, everyone are really intrigued about you." The king said with a little laugh.

"Really? I am not surprised." I said a little groggy. "And if you please be too kind, I would asked for a fresh water." I said. The King laughs and the girl who is standing in that gorgeous dress holding a glass of wine raises an eye on me.

"Of course," he sign the servants.

"And please, no poison."

"Yes, sure." I smiled a little and lay down on the cold porcelain. They was about to pulls me up but the King did stop them. I chuckled on how pretty their ceiling is. The paintings of sea monsters. And there are mermaids. There is also a half-woman and half-bird.

"What's the half-woman and half-bird calls?"

"Siren." A young voice answers. "The most dangerous for the sailors."

"Hmm." I nods. "Your castle looks really gorgeous." I sat up and took the glass of water from the servant and drank it all. I even breathed and then lay back on the floor and study the ceiling.

"Thank you." The King said in his still very sly voice."You could see real sea monsters."

"Yeah, once you feed me to them."

"Is it alright to you?" the young voice asked. I sat up to see a gorgeous man in blue eyes wearing a prince-like clothing. He took a glass of wine from the servant.

"Oh, hi handsome!" I manage to smile and he did smile back. But I turned into smirk. "I wanted to see them, however, I don't have a plan on getting eaten by those monsters. You see, I am engaged and going to marry the man I love. I also have to be in our rendezvous so that I could leave this place."

"Congratulations, then." The King said.

"Yes, I did know how to make a fire." I said playfully. "I even burn the prostitution club just to escape, if you know." I looked into their eyes and I wanted to laugh because they are all surprised. I did laugh. "But I need a lot of water to drink to show you how to make a fire." I winked at the gorgeous prince. If Nick is here, he would be so jealous. And it will be very fun.

"She's playing on us." The Princess said.

"Oh, I am not. I am also welled aware on getting executed without any trial because since every one of you are paranoid that I am a human."

"You are smart. Good thing that you know about that. But how did you manage to get into our world?" The Princess asked. I think deep.

"That is really a long story." I lay back down the floor and looked at the paintings. "I just wished that people here are nice so I could live freely." I murmur.

I heard nothing from them. Nick, where are you? Did you already left me and gone to your own castle? How could you left me here.

"Should we bring her to the dungeon?" one of the guards asked.

"No. I wanted to talk to her more." The king said. The guards left my sides and I sat up again and a pang of pain hit my head. I cross my legs and looked at the funny King. "So, from what I had heard, you assaulted Prince Falcon."

"Oh, let me rephrase. That psychotic, sex-addict, stupid Prince assaulted me. I just defend myself from his crazy idea." I told him that makes him laugh out loud. "So, Mr. King what would you do if you get assaulted, then?"

"My guards will kill them, if ever they are many."

"As a defense." I told. He agreed with me.

"I really like you. You are smart."

"Yes. I am welled aware of that." The King flushes on my words.

I and the King talk a lot while the Prince named Warren and the Princess named Wendy are just listening sitting on their thrones while the servants are serving foods to them. The King also laugh a lot. I told him stories about my life in Mystical Academy and how I ended up here. But I didn't told him that I heard the voices and their world dragged me inside.

"I also know how to play violin and piano. That I had been practicing for two years and mastered it all. I also guessed that you have a great music here."

"Yes. My son here is a great musician and my daughter here is a beautiful singer."

"You only have two children?" I asked him.

"No. I have my oldest son sailing somewhere with his ship. Then my other daughters get married and living on the other kingdoms."

"Oh, by the way, what's your name?" I asked.

"King Wales, one of the greatest kings of five kingdoms." I shrugged off.

"Every king tell that they are great." He laugh again.

"You are right. Who else would tell you, that you are great if not yourself?" I laugh on what he said. He's right about that. I was served a glass of water as I requested and didn't even asked for anything else though the King had let me eat what I wanted since it is dinner. I don't need anything else besides of water. I suddenly feel dehydrated.

"So, what's the name of your fiancé? Is he from this world?"

"Yes. He is. I am not going to tell his name because I don't want him to get over popular. You know, the Pyr Princesses are crazy over him." I winked on the King that makes his eyebrow raises. "He's just a hired assassin to kill anyone that his customer told." The King nods and I know that they would probably looked for him.

"I had a lovely night because I had someone to talk to." The King told. "But the execution is tomorrow. Guards will keep an eye on you until sun rise."

"Yeah, do as what you wished. I guess that my wedding will be held on my next life." I lay down back on the cold porcelain floor. "If ever my fiancé visited your palace, tell him that I will kill him for leaving me."

"Sure." The King said. "Anything else, Catastrophe?" he mentioned my name for the first time.

"Yes. If ever I die and your world dies with me, don't scream." He laughs out loud but it was a threat. I close my eyes and sleep. At least that will makes me calm. Then I heard the sound of the violin. The musician is playing really nice and sounds death and I could know that it was the prince playing it.

Prince Nicholas

I had been waiting for her on the harbor but she never came. Then I decided to go back to her but met bandits instead that has her sword. I was about to kill every one of them and they told me that she was sold to the prostitution club. The leader pleaded to me not to kill them and he explained that she can escape the prostitution because they gave her a key.

I grabbed her bag and use one of their horses and run towards the prostitution. Lots of people are coming out though some ladies are naked. Half of the building are on fire and I saw guards with a carriage. She got captured, again. Damn it! I tried to trespass to the boundary of the castle but the main gate is closed where you have to cross over the river that has lots of crocodiles living.

Should I wait for her to get executed tomorrow to save her? Or should I make a plan right now for her to escape. My worriedness disappears when a pure white owl sat on the branch of Maidenhair tree where I am standing under. I looked into the owls eyes. Princess Amanda sent her to me.

Worry no more, Prince Nicholas. The mermaid's tear will save her. She will get no harm from the monsters.

"But, your highness—"

Worry no more, Prince. She will be safe under the water.

I just remain silent until the owl flies away. I have no choice but to remain in that tree hidden.

Early in the morning, the guards are roaming around talking about the execution to be held at eight. I only have two hours and twenty minutes to catch them. The Royalties are going to ride their big fastest ship. Or it is more like a cruise. I wanted to see my love but she's on the carriage and it is hard for me to see her.

What would I do? What if she dies under the mouth of the sea? My poor Adhiti, when would she have a freedom? How would I give her a peaceful life without anyone trying to kill her? All I just wished is to be with her with me on my side until thousands of years past to grow old with her.

I rode on my horse to follow their carriage. However, I know where they will end so I decided to go there faster. I didn't expect that Pyr royals are here except for Princess Matilda and the King and the Queen. Flame had noticed my presence so I sign him to meet me away from his people.

I went to the shop where people bought hats and other clothing for sailing. I didn't removed my mask and just looked around like a normal customer. The store owner didn't bother to entertain me as Flame enters and started looking for something that he didn't need.

I walk to the other side of the door to the exit and looked around if there are people there. Too lucky that the people are bothering on going to the harbor and checking the human that they wanted to see.

"She'll die underwater." Flame murmurs a few meters away from me.

"She's not going to die there Flame."

"What are you going to do? Drown with her under water?" I can sense a little agitate from his voice. I know, he's mad that I let them caught Adhiti.

"Yeah, that's the plan." I smirked on my plan but still worried about her. I know that she can control the water and can breathe under water. But the thing that makes me worried is I don't know how long she'll take to be underwater. The abyss is very dangerous because of the predators roaming around there. How would I helped her get out of the water? But half of me wanted to believe to the Princess. She's safe underwater.

"How that could be a plan?!" he hissed at me.

"I don't know Flame. But I have to believe that she'll survive underwater. She has the mermaid's tear with her. It will keep her safe and I have to believe to the highest highness."

"Pr—" he was about to speak her name but he cut himself off. He nods his head understanding the plan. "This moment never happened." He immediately leave and I was left anxious leaning on the wall.

I rode on the ship without anyone knowing because of my disguise as a fisherman. I keep my face covered with mask as what fisherman sometimes does because of the sunlight. Everyone gather and wanted to see the human. She was inside of the iron cage her hands are in chain above her head. The King kept on laughing and the Princess is smirking while the second son didn't show his emotions.

She looked a little embarrassed because of the people looking at her with awe in their eyes. Some of them or lots of them had a family or loved that had been put up in the same cage and ready to feed to the sea monsters. The ship started sailing and the wind is with us going to the north to the mouth of the ocean.

The people chattered and some left the ship afraid to be eaten by the kraken together with the ship. I am not afraid. The only thing that I am afraid of is losing my love.

It takes at least three hours to get to the spot of the abyss. She's still hanging on that chains inside the cage from the crane that is holding the cage. As her time comes people get rueful on her. Some are afraid to see the tentacles of the Kraken or the heads of the Hydra.

I saw a glimpse of her eyes that has the same color of the ocean right now. Like her eyes are the camouflage of every nature where she is with. The highlights of her blue-green hair is glowing too but they are too mesmerized on her beauty to care about it.

Leave now, Nick. She speaks directly into my mind. I don't want to leave her. I rather die with her.

Exhaustion are all over her eyes and I can also feel the pain and numbness that she's feeling right now. Her lips are dry and pale and she looks dehydrated. I wanted to give her a water but she speak in my mind telling me not to go there or show myself to them.

Big waves are coming that means, some kind of sea monster is coming. She looked up and smiles a little but it still cracks. I was about to go to her but someone hold my arm to stop me. It was an old man around sixties. He nods his head to me and I don't know what he means by that. People around us are too busy on singing of the song that they sang for the sea monsters whenever there is someone to be executed.

"The monsters are with her and if not, the fishes will save her." The man told. "Nobody ever survive from the sea monsters, but I have a faith that she's our savior." He kept his voice low for the people not to know.

The Kraken sleepeth." That poem is from John Wyndham and made the chorus of the song that they sang for the Kraken.

The cage moves far extending it towards the water. One of the King's men pull out a spear as the cage extended farther the long spear with a very sharp edged cut my love's flesh on her arms and I couldn't bare looking at it. But I have to be strong for both of us. The fresh blood slowly drips down the clear blue-green sea.

"Fresh blood drops down the water,

The Kraken would come and follow

Thy blood smell would be feared

The Kraken is near."

They dropped the cage and I pushed people and jumped off the water. I tried to swim fast under to be with her. The iron cage is slowly sinking on the abysmal home of the monsters. I saw large long tentacles but I did not fear death or the Kraken. I feared my love.

She open her eyes while I am holding my breath swimming towards her. Her eyes feared my death. I pulls out a dagger and hold on the iron bars as I tried to remove the pin on the chains to free her hand. She immediately hold my hand and move her face towards me. I did not mind on being out of breath and I did not mind that my ear hurts.

"Go." She mouthed. I shook my head and scoop her face. She move her face out of the bar and took my mouth as she blow an air. Leave me, Nick. I will be fine under. I shook my head.

Suddenly my head hurts and I am out of air. My lungs burns and my ear pains a lot. She hold my ear and then she tried to remove my hands from the bars. No. I don't want to leave her. I don't want to leave my Adhiti. I let her suffer but now, I cannot bear seeing her suffer.

"I love you." She mouthed again and then there is something pushed me away from her faster than I expected. I don't want to close my eyes but I am out of breath and I cannot hold my breath anymore.

My throat hurts, my ear hurts, my eyes hurts mostly my whole body including my head hurts a lot. I move sideways as I throw out the salt water that I had drank. My nails sink on the grass to the soil and cough and cough feeling like going to die because of the pain on my throat. A gentle hand landed on my back and when I gain my consciousness, I was looking at the Goddess that looks so much alike to my Adhiti.

"My Prince, can you hear me?" I can hear her. It is Princess Amanda. I sat up and he helped me. Then, she gave me a fresh water. "Here, this would make you feel better." The chill of the fresh water goes down from my throat.

"Adhiti," I murmur. I looked at the sea and saw dolphins jumping playing near us.

"She'll be fine, Nicholas." I looked at Princess Amanda. Then I just remember one thing, I pulls out the amulet from my pocket and raise it in front of her.
