My Unique Goddess: AZALEA

Celestar Mall is a fast growing shopping center in the city for only almost four years when it was built they climbed up to the second most popular mall in the survey. There are already thirty five branches all over the country but the main mall in this city is the biggest.

The mall have different sections and levels to accommodate different types of people. From the average to the VVIP. Everyone and everything is considered in this place that's why it became popular.

The security of this mall is highly advance too, specially for their high end clients and also because they have the rarest but most expensive item they can ever find. That's why it is the most sought-after place for famous people with money.

Lindy and Azalea have an access to the glamour side of Celestar Mall. Lindy says she wants to buy something special for Carlton. Its an anniversary gift and this is the place she wants to look at.

"You're going to buy my brother an expensive gift?". She feels like puking with her idea.

Lindy didn't mind Azalea's attitude towards her own brother. She's always like that ever since college. She doesn't like it when she gives her boyfriend a gift.

"Yes, I will". She was blushing with excitement.

"Oh God, end of the world". This is the part that she doesn't like about Lindy. She's always the one who buys gifts for her stupid brother.

Lindy grabs her hand and drag her to a boutique for men. The exquisite brands and products of this place is very well known and very expensive.

Azalea scanned the place. The high quality products didn't appeal to her but there is something that caught her attention. She took her phone and texted someone after that she walks around. She glanced at Lindy, she's holding several neck ties in her hands and she looks like she's deciding witch one she'll going to buy. She just made a slight smile at her friend and walk straight to the counter of watches for men.

Three ladies just came in, the same boutique where Azalea and Lindy are. They were looking for gifts and decided to visit the place.

"Hey Sue, are you going to buy a gift for Jack?". Her socialite friend named Lucy ask her. She's always envious of her for having a great fiance like Jack Shin and she's very vocal about it.

"Oh, you're so generous. I think that's the main reason he loves you a lot". Another socialite spoke with admiration to her. Norene the woman who loves to ride in her coattail of popularity.

"Of course ladies that's why were here". She said proudly to them.

The three are scanning the area when Sue finds a stunning watch. She was going to ask the sales lady to get it for her when another woman also ask for it. Sue looked at her and was stunned for a minute. It was Azalea.

"I saw it first". She said in a very arrogantly way.

"Actually, I already saw it before you came". She said to her calmly.

"But I ask for it first". Sue will not let Azalea to beat her for this watch. She thought this is the perfect gift for Jack. She will buy this and visit him in Shin Tower.

"No I don't think so, it was me who ask her first". Azalea is fighting for her right as the first claimer of the watch.

Sue looked at the sales lady and ask her who's the first one who ask her for the watch. She did this because she is confident that the woman will choose her because of her looks. She looks elegant and Azalea looks shabby.

The sales lady looked at them both and she's weighing their looks. The one is elegant and her clothes are at the high end. She have the air of a rich miss from a prestigious family while the other one looks shabby. Her clothes are unbranded and her appearance is like a nerdy old maid.

The sales lady took out the watch and gave it to Sue.

She is smiling victorious. She feels like she defeated Azalea in a battle by just standing there. Everyone knows she's the great Sue Antaler no one can defeat her. Serves you right she thought.

The two ladies beside her is laughing with finessed. They are looking at her distastefully.

Lindy saw Azalea in the watch counter talking to a woman. She wondered what they were discussing. She frowned when she sees them laughing at her and looking at her friend with criticism and disgust. She walks to their direction.

"How much for the watch?". Lindy ask the sales lady as soon as she gets there.

All the ladies were surprised even Azalea when someone speaks behind them. When they turned to see who it was they were astound except her friend.

Lindy Laurent is standing in front of them. Everyone knows her as a supermodel and also a young miss of the Mullen-Laurent household. Two powerful families of the country.

"I want to know how much is it?". She's looking at the sales lady who was still in daze by seeing her.

"I'm sorry Ms. Laurent but this watch belongs to me now". Sue is sticking her claim to the watch she won't let another heiress beat her.

"That watch is a handmade created to perfection by a very popular watch maker in the world. There is only ten pieces of it and that is one of them. Made out of gold, silver and bronze adorn with white diamonds and sapphire. The best gift you can ever find for a man". A slim and elegant woman in a suit came and told them the qualities of the famous watch.

"How much is it?". Azalea wants to know the price of the watch they are fighting for.

"Oh my god, does she think she can afford it". One of Sue's friends is laughing at her.

"With that shabby look, do you really have money?..... Do you know how much that watch might cost?... Of course you don't but I will tell you because we know, we always buy this kind of things". The woman named Lucy was trying to humiliate her in front of many people who's also present in the store. "let me see, it's probably about two million". She estimated it like a professional.

Sue already calculated the money in her account. She has more than two million left in her after paying some debt in half. She's not worried after she bought this she will go back to Ken for some money again.

"It's eight million". Cherry told them the real price of the famous watch.

"What!..... Eight million for just a piece of watch". Sue was very shocked and her voice is very loud when she said those words after finding out how much it really cost. It is more than what she have.

She was holding the watch inside its box and just threw it back to the counter when she heard the original price of it. The sales lady was surprised and tried to catch it but it slips from her hands and landed to the tiled floor. The box broke and the watch slides to the floor. Everyone was stunned and none of them move for a moment. Cherry picked it up and examined the watch. The metal wrist strap is broken already.

All the people in that store were also surprised with Sue's reaction. The assumption of her being petty and becoming poor seems to have some basis now. She cannot seems to afford expensive things now because her lack of money.

Sue can feel all the eyes on her. They are looking at her disdainfully but she doesn't care. She's not going to pay for something very expensive like that.

"That's not my fault, I already handed it to her she's the one who broke it". Sue is putting the blame over the sales lady who was still in shocked from the previous scene.

The sales lady who now understands what's happening cried while trying to defend herself but Sue is making a scene and accusing the woman of slandering. She even made her two friends her own witness and the poor woman just cried out a river accepting her defeat. She knows she can never payback that kind of amount even if she worked there for a hundred years. She's going to end up in jail if she don't pay for it.

Azalea felt her helplessness. She knows she's poor and probably working there just to feed her family. She looks very young and defenseless she can't even save herself. She's crying and asking for forgiveness and starts telling them her life story and she is right. She's the bread winner in her family and if she's gone no one will take care of them.

"Don't cry". Azalea patted her head. The young woman looked at her with her swollen eyes begging for mercy. She ask for her help in between her sobs then cry again.

"Hey, tell you what if you try to sell the watch to me again I'll buy it. I heard there's a big commission if you sold something that expensive. Right Cherry?". She said to the young woman.

The woman in suit just nod.

The sales lady got up quickly and took the broken watch and put it inside its box again. And in between her sobs she tried to speak and told her the qualities of it. She was wiping her tears and tried to do her job. Right now she's trying to be strong for her family. She knows she was wrong earlier judging the woman who's helping her right now, by the way she looks. She should never judge a book by it's cover. She's being apologetic to her.

Azalea took out her blackcard in front of Sue and her friends. The other two woman tried to look at her card and its last digit number but Cherry personally took it and handled it herself.

The two women were stupefied they never thought she's very rich but Sue knows her, she is Jack's wife. She thought he's providing her with all his wealth and giving her lots of money because she is her woman now. Those privileges are supposed to be hers.
