My Unique Goddess: AZALEA

"How about we make a deal first". She begins to speak again in her usual way. "Let's do a one speaker at a time, I'll speak first you listen after I'm done you can make your turn". She speaks as if she's talking to a grade school students.

She looks at them smiling. She wants to see who will object.

Jack is surveying the whole room to see who will object with his wife's condition if someone squeal their dead.

"Silence means, OK". And she even clap her hands. "Let's continue then". Her aura turn serious again.

"As you can see here, this land has a mountain, and this mountain is almost made of limestones". She paused for a while to see their reactions.

Jack's brows arc up. He didn't know about a mountained limestone.

"You did the researched?". He wants to clarify what he heard from her.

"Yes I did". She answered casually.

"Why?". He doesn't like that she's doing something like that.

"Because I'm my brother's huntsman, I'm his Nimrod". She said in her normal way.

"Wow..... So you're a real Lara Croft". Trey was so amazed he imagined her like a girl from a video game.

Azalea laughed at him. She loves that game too.

Jack made a mental note again to talk to her brother to never used her as his huntsman. 'She is my Unique Goddess and he used her as his Nimrod?". In his thoughts this is unacceptable.

"Mr. Shin is that the only question you are going to ask me?". She is still waiting for his another question.

"It's still an isolated land". He didn't ask a question but pointed out a big problem.

There's no fine road leading to that land that's why it is almost like a lost civilization. Every people who lives there are already selling their properties and lands to leave the area. There's no business establishment or any available work for anyone that's why they want to leave the place and wants to live in the city.

"The road is a government responsibility and I already have a standby people for that". She proudly said.

"What do you mean?". Jack is a bit confused. "The government will provide the roads for them, is that what are you insinuating?".

"Yes". She confidently answered him.

Jack was dumbfounded. The road is one of the biggest hindrance in developing an isolated land. If she can really make it, this means she's holding a pot of gold in her hands.

"Corbin get me an appointment with Carlton Son". He is very interested now.

Azalea is smiling from ear to ear. She convinced him.

Jack rose from his seat and he called her. She is hopping with joy while heading to his direction and without a thought she hugged him.

"Are you convinced.....hhhmmmm..." She is looking up to him. With her small frame he can hug her whole.

"Yes, you did". He said honestly. The truth is, he is very surprised how skillful his little wife is. She never ceased to amazed him.

Azalea clap and jump for joy like a child. She can't believed she just convinced him.

"Trey, give your people a raise". He is really in a good mood today.

Trey and his people are astounded. They can't stop thanking their big boss and also Azalea. She gave them an early gift. And they treated her as a guardian angel.

Azalea was confused why this people are thanking her. She's not the one who gave them raise but they are very thankful to her.

Jack is watching Azalea's confused reaction when Trey's people start to thanked her. He noticed that she's not the type of person who takes credits for other people's work. 'What an honest woman'. He thought.

He grabbed her hand and drag her out of the meeting room they are going back to his office.

Azalea is looking at his hand holding hers. She let him drag her without hesitation and her imagination is running wild again. She feels like a lady protected by his man and they are running away to go to a deserted place where no one can disturb them. Her face is beaming red because of her wild fantasies of him.

If only she can really have him, her life will be complete. But then again reality checked, he is already taken and they are only married today because of their grandfathers' contract. She sigh.

When they reached Jack's office Azalea took off her cardigan, bonnet and eyeglasses then she run to his glass walls.

Jack is just watching her. Here inside his office he can see the real Azalea without those covers. He decided to ask her one day why does she hide her true self from the world. He walk to her direction and stand behind her. His five feet and four inches small framed wife can be hide in his wide masculine body.

"Wow....this is so cool!". She's astonished with the height of the building. "Jack look, I cannot see all the people below". She can't even compare them to the ants they are way smaller.

Jack was astound, this is the first time he heard his name coming from her lips and it sounds like an angel singing his name and not just mentioning it. He is very delighted.

Azalea didn't see the satisfaction in his face when he heard her say his name, she is busy watching the other tall buildings and the people she cannot almost see.

A three knock sound caught Jack's attention. He told him to come in and the door opened. He turned to speak to the person who came in, but he make sure that his blocking her.

"Here is the other documents that you ask yesterday and I already made an appointment to Carlton Son". This is Corbin's normal job.

Azalea turned around when she heard his brother's name but she noticed that Jack is blocking her. She stared at his wide back and calculated their size. She can hide in his back and she did. She walks behind him and cling onto his shirt then she take a peek on Corbin.

Corbin got surprised when she peeks behind Jack's back. Her long black soft curled hair glide down followed by the white front hair that looks like dyed, as she bend her head down to her shoulder to take a peek. He can almost see her whole face and her beautiful innocent eyes are looking direct at him. He was frozen stiff staring at her.

He remembered her, the girl he saw in the car wash shop who looks like a doll and took a glanced at him too. 'But why is she here?'.

Jack noticed how Corbin is standing still and keep staring at his little wife. 'Is this how other men react when they see my wife without her glasses and big cardigan?'. He is confound.

He is starting to feel tense. He might get worried everytime she's out of her sight. If a lot of men tried to pursue her she might lose her interest in him.

He looked at Azalea and cough to catch her attention. When Azalea saw him looking at her she straightened up and put her forehead leaning on his back.

He slightly grin and returned his gaze to Corbin who was still in daze.

"Just leave it there, you may go". He have no intention of introducing her to him.
