"By the way, did Lindy ask you already?". He change the topic.

"Ask me what?". She have no idea what he is talking about.

"Atteding a banquet". He is looking for her reaction.

"Ah, so that's what she wants to say". She even clicked her fingers after remembering Lindy's call in the mansion.

"So, would you like to go?". He's worried, Azalea never liked social gatherings.

"I'm not sure, I really do hate banquets and crowded people". She really do hate attending festivities.

Ken sigh deeply. He don't want to bother her with anything. If she don't want to go he should respect that.

Azalea notice he became silent. His a bit bothered.

"Are you going?". She breaks his silence.

"Yeah, I have to". He sound a bit sad.

"Why?".

"It's my Uncle's 50th birthday actually I'm not allowed to skip it".

"Do you have a date?".

Ken stop for a moment and look at her.

"I was wondering if you would like to attend the banquet with me?". He feels like a teenage boy asking for his crush to a date.

Before, he can easily ask any woman out or attend parties with him but today he was having a hard time doing that. He can't even understand himself.

"I know you hate social gatherings and dressing up, but I promise, if you come with me I won't leave your side and you can wear anything you want, I won't force you to change yourself just because you're with me". He sounds like negotiating more than inviting her.

"Okay, that's tomorrow night, right". She wants to laugh at him seeing how hard he tried to convince her. He almost like negotiating with her. But of course she needs to give him some face.

Ken was stunned. He can't believed she just said yes. He is smiling from ear to ear.

The lunch is a success and Azalea is very grateful to Ken she's very happy that she take his invitation she loves the food here.

Ken wants to ask her to go somewhere but she refused she remembered her promised to Jack that he will drop by at the Shin Tower. She bid him goodbye after thanking him and they separated from there.

Shin Tower.

Jack held a meeting for every departments. The reports that supposed to be executed two to three days from now we're all rush and every presentation is lacking with everything. And he keeps on slaying them.

His phone is keep receiving emails of his wife's whereabouts and also pictures are included.

He sees photos of his little wife having a sumptuous meal and she looks happy.

'That suppose to be us'. He remembered the dinner that he was looking forward days ago that Sue ruined.

There's also a photo where she keeps on smiling while looking at Ken. And a photo where Ken is wiping her side lips with his thumb.

'How dare he touch my wife's face'. In Jack's mind he already killed him twenty times in twenty different ways.

Everyone feels a very cold temperature inside the meeting room they are watching their boss but not looking at him directly but they still can see how his jaw is moving, he is gritting his teeth out of anger.

He is calm but the darkness on his face is giving them a warning sign of not provoking him or hell will break loose.

Trey can't stand it, he went out and look for Susan.

Susan who is still sitting on her desk just gave him a glance.

"Did you hear what I said?". He is waiting for her to reply but she just glance at him.

"Yes I did sir, but my order is to take her to the big boss office when she comes". And she went back to his paper works.

Trey is furious he wants to strangle her pretty neck. But he can't his cousin will whip his ass if he touched her.

'One day you will beg for my mercy'. His furious but his thoughts is running wild. Taming a fearless cat in his bed that would be very satisfying and corner of his lips curved upward.

Trey decided to wait for Azalea in the lobby. As he is taking his stride to the lobby he saw her talking to the receptionist.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Son". He gave her a wide smile. "You're looking for Jack, am I right?".

Azalea just nod and looked at him in a confused way.

"I'm Trey Jack's cousin". He gave his hand for her to shake and she took it.

"Well, if you follow me I'll take you to him". He didn't gave her a chance to speak he already lead the way.

'Odd guy'. Azalea thought but she did follow him.

Trey has a theory again if this theory work he can save his entire team.

From the meeting room his team will be the last to present a report and they are looking at him for help. Their reports is lacking in every aspect they will surely be slayed by the mighty King for this, without retribution.

Trey took Azalea to the meeting room. He ask her to wait outside for a while. He let himself in and went straight to Jack's seat then he whispered her name to him.

Corbin is just looking at Trey and Jack. His idiot rival whispered something in Jack's ears and he saw how his face change in an instant.

Trey went to the door and opened it he let her in. The people are in silent mode for a while they are looking at the woman who just entered the room.

No one is saying anything nor whispering they're not allowed to do so but in their mind they are all asking who is this nerd woman.

Jack rose from his seat his face brightens after seeing her. 'She really do came'.

"Can I really come here?". She ask Jack as soon as she reached him. She knows this is an internal meeting.

"Of course, I don't think anyone here would mind". And he scanned the whole room eyeing for anyone who wants to object.

Everyone lowered their heads they don't want to be picked up by their demon boss. He already slayed a lot of good people in the room they don't want to be the next one.

A chair automatically delivered beside him and he ushered her to sit and ask his people to continue.

As she take her seat she gave him a drink.

"What's this?". He still ask even though he knows what it was.

"Mocha shake". She handed him a large tumbler of shake. "Mine is strawberry milk shake". She even put a straw in his drink after putting it in front of him.

Jack slightly grin as she serves her his drink like a dutiful wife. He is watching her every move, his focus is only in his little wife's face he can't even hear what the other people is talking about.

Corbin's forehead wrinkled like a crumpled paper. He can't believe Trey will see his weakness and use it well. 'So his not an idiot after all' he thought.
