Xu Zhiyin took a deep breath, braced herself to raise her head and glanced at Gu Nantian. She knew if she were to keep quiet now, Gu Nantian would be angrier.

However, she had decided to return to the man she loved. She was not willing to push Ji Liunian who had walked toward her with difficulty away. So, she wished to clarify with Gu Nantian, “Mr. Gu, I…”

“I have some questions to ask Dr. Xu. If possible, could we talk outside.” Gu Nantian did not call her darling wife like usual. He didn’t want to put her in a difficult position.
