My Sweet Dr. Xu

The two of them came out from the office. Xu Zhiyin had asked Qiao to arrange an appointment for her to see Dr. Wayne. Dr. Wayne was a psychologist and understood Gu Nantian's condition better. He could provide lots of professional help.

After lunch, Dr. Wayne came.

Xu Zhiyin invited Dr. Wayne to the backyard for discussion with the intention of avoiding Gu Nantian.

After discussion, Xu Zhiyin found out the reason she was employed. Dr. Wayne was the initiator of this idea!

When he saw Xu Zhiyin's puzzled face, Dr. Wayne explained, "Initially, I used hypnosis to help Mr. Gu to regain his memory but I didn't expect the person we found from his memory to be you. So, I thought you may be of help to Mr. Gu's search of his memory."

Xu Zhiyin said, "It was me who received him when he was sent to the hospital after the car accident. When he arrived at the hospital, he still had his memory. It might be that moment that he remembered me!"

Ah, now that she thought of her close connection to this man, she was gloomy.

However, Dr. Wayne was her teacher's good friend and a senior in the medical profession. Xu Zhiyin dared not express her dissatisfaction and had to endure.

Actually, Xu Zhiyin felt strange that the day when Gu Nantian was sent to the hospital, none of his subordinates who would usually follow him wherever he went, was with him. It was a passerby who witnessed the accident and called the emergency number. There were no family members around him that day!

Dr. Wayne said, "Earlier, I saw, with you around, Mr. Gu was not as anxious and fretful as before. This proves that your presence is meaningful to Mr. Gu."

Xu Zhiyin could sense Dr. Wayne's complacency for making this decision.

After all, he had finally found a bit of hope for Gu Nantian's difficult illness case.

Xu Zhiyin continued, "But I don't think I'm of much help to Gu Nantian. Now, he has mistaken me for his lover but Miss Gu is his real lover. His consciousness is confounding and has mixed me up with Miss Gu."

Dr. Wayne reassured, "Don't worry about this. As long as you can help him recall his past, everything will be better…"

Dr. Wayne was indeed a psychologist. After chatting, Xu Zhiyin felt more at ease and her stress was not as much as before.

Dr. Wayne had promised her to give her an answer in three months. When the time comes, even if Gu Nantian could not recall his past, Dr. Wayne would allow Xu Zhiyin to leave while he would return to face the problem himself.

Xu Zhiyin respected Dr. Wayne and did not doubt his words. She took the initiative to see him off. "Goodbye, Dr. Wayne, have a good day!"

"Goodbye, you too." Dr. Wayne waved. Xu Zhiyin stopped at the door and watched as he got into his private car.

She thought Gu Nantian was blind to employ her. With her ability, how could she compare to Dr. Wayne? Why did Gu Nantian want her and not Dr. Wayne?

She couldn't help but smile. She turned around and bumped into a person.

Xu Zhiyin placed her hand on her painful nose and took two steps backward. She didn't know when Gu Nantian appeared behind her.

He was silent and did not make noise.

His subordinates did not follow him. Gu Nantian examined her seriously with a complicated look. Xu Zhiyin didn't understand what she did wrong. "Why are you looking at me like this?"

Strange, it was like she had made a mistake.

Gu Nantian looked unhappy. "You seem happy chatting with that old man?"

"Yes!" Xu Zhiyin could not sense the dissatisfaction in his tone, "Actually, it's not necessary to employ me. He's very outstanding and can cure you."

"Hmph, you like him?" Gu Nantian's fire within was frantic when he heard her praising someone else.

Xu Zhiyin realized Gu Nantian sounded jealous!

He was jealous?

Gu Nantian snorted as if tacitly admitting.

Xu Zhiyin saw his jealous look and felt he was overly worried.

He was not her husband and had no right to be jealous but more importantly…

"I merely respect and admire his professionalism. Why are you jealous? With his age, he can be my uncle."

"Women like uncles." Gu Nantian said, "It's natural that you like him when you think he's good."

The thought of her and Dr. Wayne happily chatting for so long made Gu Nantian extremely jealous because Xu Zhiyin would not chat with him in this manner.

Xu Zhiyin laughed and that instant, she found Gu Nantian adorable. "I'm not interested in uncles. Don't' think too much. He's my teacher's friend and I merely admire him."

Then, she darted Gu Nantian a glance. "Let's go, why did you come out?"

After her explanation, Gu Nantian was more at ease. He caught up to Xu Zhiyin's pace and said unwillingly, "Since you have explained, I'll believe you."

"Not right." Xu Zhiyin stopped walking and looked at the bold man behind her, "You're nobody to me, why did I explain all that to you? Even if I like uncles, it has nothing to do with you. Don't misunderstand."

Before she could finish talking, Gu Nantian grabbed her hand as if to prove to her that their relationship was deep and she was his affirmed wife!

In Gu Mansion, there was a lotus pond and now was the season when the lotus flowers bloom. Xu Zhiyin would come here to take a stroll whenever she had nothing to do.

The Gu family was rich. Just the backyard alone was bigger than the shopping mall.

She sat on the railing in the gazebo, looking at the swimming fishes in the lotus pond…

Each time she came here, Gu Nantian would shamelessly follow her.

Just like this moment, he sat down beside Xu Zhiyin to remove the shells of some nuts and shoved them to her.

Xu Zhiyin didn't mind that anymore. "Didn't you sleepwalk? I don't blame you but one day, I'll help you overcome your problems." She raised her head and fearing he would misunderstand, she added, "After all, I'm the doctor in charge of your case."
