My Obsession

84 A cruel coincidence called, "Fate".

A memory that she could never forget no matter what she does. Like a curse, but her photographic memory lingers around onto her heart, telling her. "This man is not a good guy." But she couldn't say that out loud.

She shook her head and said, "No, it's okay. I wouldn't want to bother Mr Liu. He can stay here to keep you two company."

"Mr Liu?" Madam Liu laughed as she heard Wang Yi-An called him that. "You two are around the same age, hearing you call him that makes me feel awkward. You can call him Shun-Feng. Your mother and I are so close. Please, treat each other like a family."

Wang Yi-An took a peak at him, she wanted to come up to him and slap him on his face. But, how could she? She couldn't believe that her mother and his mother are friends. So, she might as well agreed to her request. She nodded and re-worded her comment. "I wouldn't want to bother, Shun-Feng. It's better if he stays with you two, it's very inconvenience if his fans saw him."

"It's fine." Liu Shun-Feng had been quiet the entire time, but suddenly. He spoke up. "I'll take her out to buy some grocery, Ma, you and Aunty can have a good chat while you two wait here."

Liu Shun-Feng puts on his sunglasses and had on his black hat as a disguise. He looked like he was ready to go out the door. He grabbed onto Wang Yi-An's hand and said, "Let's go." Then he took her out.

Madam Liu expressed her surprised as she thought, "When did he became so obedient?" But, she wasn't the only one surprised, Mother Wang was too.

The two mother smiled at each other, happy to see their children getting along well. But they were both unaware of what would happen the second those two children walked out that door.

Outside, as they closed the door. Wang Yi-An struggled to get her hand release from his grip. "Let go of me!"

Liu Shun-Feng held on tightly, "Quiet. You're going to make a scene before we could even get there." He continued to drag her to his sport car. The same sport car he almost ran an old lady over. Wang Yi-An didn't want to get inside, but with her strength. How could she fight over a man who is so much stronger than she was? Her struggles were useless.

He opened the door to the passenger seat, for her, as he said, "Hurry inside, or else I'll force you inside."

"I'll get in on my own!" Wang Yi-An got inside, but she wasn't gentle, she slammed his car door so hard, he felt it.

But he said nothing, he could only feel a little furious, and he went over to the driver's seat and close his door gently. It's like he was telling her, "You don't have to be so rough with my car."

The door was already child-lock, so Wang Yi-An couldn't open the door and run out even if she wanted to. Liu Shun-Feng was right next to her, but she couldn't do anything about it. She wanted to leave and be on her own, but it wasn't possible.

Liu Shun-Feng buckled his seatbelt on, and he turned his head over and saw that Wang Yi-An haven't even put the seatbelt on yet, "Put your seatbelt on." He said as he tried to reach over to put her belt on for her.

He leans in so close to her, it was out of her comfort-zone. She was uncomfortable to the point of her trying to push him out. "I can do it myself..."

With that, he pulled himself away from her to give her space to buckle herself up.

But, could she? She couldn't even pull the belts down. Wang Yi-An couldn't understand why, but she tried to pull it down, but it appears locked. He looked at her and he smiled. "Man, you're not only ugly, but you're stupid too?" He leans back over to her side, and pulls the seatbelt down over to the side to unlock it first, and then he buckled her up.

The smile on his face annoyed her, but she remained silent.

"I guess this is what you called 'fate' isn't it? For us to meet again so soon." That grin on his face, and the tone in his voice was obvious he wanted to tease her.

"More like a cruel coincidence." She replied to him, but she wasn't smiling. A straight face that tells him how annoyed she was to be sitting next to him.

He stared into her eyes for a moment before he told her. "How about we call this a truce? Let's be friends. There's no point being enemies when our mothers are so close, they even want us to get marry."

She hated that smirk he showed on his face. That cocky-arrogant smirk, she wanted to punch him. But, Wang Yi-An thought about it for a second. No matter how much anger she had for this person. She can't make her mother unhappy. Like her mother, her mother's happiness is more important to her.
