My Obsession

Just as Wang Yi-An and Assistant Tseng walked into the break room, they saw Yang-Tian-Xu as he stood by the entrance. The door was opened wide.

Perhaps something had happened between him and Lee Yin-Yin? Wang Yi-An had also heard the rumours that Lee Yin-Yin and President Yang are a couple. However, she didn't want to pry and just minded her business.

Nevertheless, Assistant Tseng knows his boss too well and thought to himself. "He must have rejected her. Oh, the nation's top idol. If her fans were to find out, this would not be good."

"Hey, boss!" Assistant Tseng greeted Yang Tian-Xu. However, the only person President Yang sees is Wang Yi-An.

"An-An! You came so early!"

"Early?" Assistant Tseng wanted to cry. It is now 9:15 AM, she was clearly 15-minutes late. How is that early? However, Assistant Tseng remains quiet.

"I'm sorry for being late! I almost got lost." Wang Yi-An had a good memory. However, it was still hard for her to know a place she had never seen before. She had only seen the map of Yang Corps level seven. Floor five was different for her, nobody had given her a plan for it.

"Don't worry about it, the shoot doesn't start until 10 AM. You are early." Yang Tian-Xu smiled at her, and she would smile back.

Wang Yi-An was all the way on the other wing, and then Assistant Tseng had finally called her to check up on her. Only to find out that she was lost.

Of course, Assistant Tseng didn't tell President Yang that she was lost. If he did Assistant Tseng thought that he would drop all of his work and rush to her side. President Yang needed to brief the activities with the staffs and crew members. How could Assistant Tseng let President Yang go?

Yang Tian-Xu pulled a chair over to his side so that Wang Yi-An can sit, then he turned his head to Assistant Tseng and asked him. "You can go check up on the set to see if everything would be ready for the shoot at 10 AM." Then he returns his attention to Wang Yi-An.

"Okay…" Assistant Tseng was stunned, "Do I need to take Wang Yi-An with me?" Assistant Tseng thought that it would be a good experience for her if she can see how the stage was set.

"No, she'll stay here with me until we start shooting." It was obvious that Yang Tian-Xu wanted to be alone with her as he continued, " And I'll explain everything to her."

Nevertheless, Assistant Tseng had already briefed Wang Yi-An on the process. "I already did that on our way here, sir."

Yang Tian-Xu became annoyed as he told him. "Well, I wanted to make sure that you didn't leave out any important details okay, now go." Yang Tian-Xu, he hinted that he wanted to be alone with Wang Yi-An.

Assistant Tseng got the message, as he received the looked from President Yang. So, he could only sigh and closed the door behind him as he left.

Wang Yi-An looked at the documents that were on the table. It was a template of the storyboard, in script form. Yang Tian-Xu sits there with Wang Yi-An as he explains to her all the shortcuts of the script. It was simple and easy to understand, and Wang Yi-An had no question.

Yang Tian-Xu and Wang Yi-An were sitting in the room with just the two of them. He made an excuse to have her here with him. He wanted to be very specific about how he wanted the animation part of the commercial to be.

Wang Yi-An had added all the notes on the copies. Also, when it comes to the actual footage of the commercial, it won't be just her who would work on it. Yet, here she is the only one in the discussion.

"Um, shouldn't there be more people here?" She asked as she pondered.

"No need, I had already told them what I want earlier today. Everyone has a different task that I expect to be done. Don't worry too much about it. Let's continue." His reply was just an excuse so he could spend time with her alone.

Yang Tian-Xu had secretly planned this. He had purposely hoped that she would become lost, and so he would have time to finish up the meeting with the staff and crew without her.

In a big Company like the Yang Corps, many people are working on a project at once. Yang Tian-Xu wanted to have alone time with her, so he explains to her the duties of all the other staff from other departments. Wang Yi-An felt like it was unnecessary. However, he said, "This is good knowledge for you as an intern."

Wang Yi-An nodded and agreed. It is a valuable experience and practices to know a bit about every other department. Even though, she won't be working with them much.

The commercial needs plenty of work, and with plenty of employees with the individual tasks. Wang Yi-An sat in the chair beside him, and he would look over her shoulders and point at the documents as he explains them all.

Then suddenly he thought about his family and her family. He tried to apologise to Mother Wang again today, yet he still failed. Suddenly, he asked her. "If the parents of the person you love object you two from being together, what would you do?"

Wang Yi-An didn't know why President Yang would ask her that. "I would..." Still, she carefully thought about it before she answered him. "I would still choose to love." She said as she paused for two seconds.

"I would use all of my heart to love the person." Wang Yi-An eyes remain glued to the papers as she stares at them as she continued. "Even if I have to endure all the hurt, the pain, the bitterness, and even the hatred of everyone else. I would still endure it all. Even if I have to wash my face with tears in secret. I would still continue to love him."

With another pause, Wang Yi-An turned to face him straight on. Her eyes were full of determination as she said. "I will not regret it." Then, with a gentle smile on her face. "Because that man is worth my love."

For a moment they shared a look. To Wang Yi-An, she waited for Yang Tian-Xu to response to her answer. Yet, to Yang Tian-Xu? His heart was moved. The fluttering feeling inside his heart makes him kept his gaze.

Wang Yi-An looked at him with a puzzled expression. Yet, Yang Tian-Xu continued to stare into her eyes passionately as he thought to himself. "I am definitely the man who is worthy of your love." Then he smiled to himself.
