For some reason I couldn't stop thinking about him, the guy I met in the boutique. At first I wanted to call and then I thought against it. Would calling not make me look cheap? It would wouldn't it. But then me being happy was more important to me than the thought of not looking cheap.

I dialed his number and my Heart could not stop thumping in my c.h.e.s.t. I called him and he answered on the third ring.

"Hello this is Cletus Wale." He had said sounding in between formal and informal. I was tempted to believe he was just pretending not to know who called but I was not about to say it, I've learnt to go with the flow in life. Let the ocean lead you to its banks.

"This is Chizara Miracle Ekene. The girl you met in the boutique today_" If he wanted to go with full names then I could too.

"Hello beauty, What a coincidence! I was only just thinking about you now."

"Funny how I was doing the same." I replied not mincing words not only did I like going with the flow I hated beating around the bush. It is boring and just not my style.

He chuckled and I loved the sound of his voice. "I'm glad the feeling is mutual. So a date tomorrow." My heart skipped. I wanted to say something but then he cut me off. "I know It feels like I'm rushing or going off too fast but I am a very straight forward man. Its just a hangout to get to know each other better you know. You fascinate me please don't say no." He pleaded.

I see, he was afraid of rejection strange didn't he look at himself in the mirror at all, no woman in her right mind would reject him. He was exactly the kind of man I needed but I didn't need to tell him that, I don't want to bloat his ego now do I. I had a feeling that if I did I'll end up being the one to pay for it.

"I wasn't going to say no. I wanted to ask the time and place." I said smiling. He couldn't see my smile but I guess he could feel it just like I could feel his. Our souls were already in tune. Or maybe I was just telling that to myself to make me happy.

It didn't matter, I could feel us connecting and I admired him.

"Lunch at De LA crest?"

"It's a date then. I'll be there by 2 and no African man time please. I hate being late for a date and I hate my partner coming late too."

"I couldn't agree more. We do have that In common. I wonder what else we have In common?" He laughed.

I had no idea what was amusing him but I laughed too. "I don't know but I have a feeling we will soon find out." I grinned trying to breathe in through my mouth. I was suffocating with happiness. "Goodnight Cletus."

"Good night Miracle. I hope you don't mind me calling you Miracle? because I think its a more befitting name for you."

I grinned. "No I don't, everyone calls me Zara though but it will be nice to answer my middle name for a change."

He chuckled and inhaled deeply. "Sure. Good night then Miracle."

"Sleep well Cletus."

Hanging up I pressed the phone to my c.h.e.s.t and almost screamed. I wished that he was the one working with me instead. There was nothing much more intriguing, dangerous and s.e.xy like working with your lover. I loved s.e.x in the office like crazy. Buy then time will tell if I will have it at all, after all my dad let's me do whatever I want.
