My Chaotic City

At that moment, Fanning Knight was also looking at the city defense missions in a different Chaos Temple.

A bald player with a long blade was standing beside him. He looked tall and strong with the nickname 'Fiery Blade Sage' stamped over his head.

"Fanning, you are leveling so fast. You're already at Level 4 and are one level higher than me!" Fiery Blade Sage patted Fanning Knight on the shoulder.

"I am leveling fast? There's an archer who is already at Level 9!" Fanning Knight said with a sad expression on his face.

He regretted his actions until his intestines were all green. At first, he felt that First-Class Star was not a bad person, so he put on a bold face and bought her a teleport ticket. He must have been possessed to have wasted a gold coin on her.

When he thought about the gold coins, Fanning Knight could not help but remember the big treasure chest that had been dropped by the Old Black Pig. The more he thought about it, the more uncomfortable he felt. One whole chest of gold coins. Why couldn't the selfish Lord of City just not give him some?

'No, I have to go over and scold him. I can't let go of this anger without scolding him...'

In the Chaotic City, Li Hanqiang was practicing his float walking as a few rays of light suddenly fell from the sky.

He looked at the human figures transformed by the five rays of light. The first one was Dark Redemption. He stood far away, at the edge of the Space-Time Wormhole.

The second one was also another acquaintance, First-Class Star.

It seemed like she had approached someone else for help as she winked at a triangle-eyed player.

The triangle-eyes player did not reveal his nickname but was not low-leveled either as he was already at Level 6. He held a crimson magic wand in his hand and was most likely of a spellcaster profession.

As for the last two people, they were Fanning Knight and Fiery Blade Sage.

As soon as Fanning Knight appeared, he smiled at Li Hanqiang and said, "I'm here. Hahahaha. Lord of the City Li Hanqiang, don't forget your promise to me and arrange a position for me at the front."

"Welcome!" Li Hanqiang nodded and said nothing else.

At that moment, Fiery Blade Sage suddenly noticed First-Class Star and yelled loudly, "Ah! First-Class Star, how can you be here too?"

First-Class Star humphed and said, "Why pretend to be a big shot if you have no actual strength? You're just a bunch of poor ghosts in a garbage guild. How do you still have gold coins to accept this mission? Also, Fanning Knight, didn't you say that you would be a dog if you came here again?"

"You…" Fanning Knight's eyes widened. "Of course I have gold coins! The Chaotic City Lord has said nothing, so what are you complaining about? I can come and go as I like. Do you have control over me?"

At that moment, the player holding the magic wand coughed and spoke in a lowered voice, "Let me introduce myself. I am the deputy president of the Emperor's Rich Guild, Zhen Dejun!"

"Emperor's Rich Guild?" Fiery Blade Sage glanced at Zhen Dejun, smacking his lips as he said, "Why not call it the Young Brother Guild? Is Zhen Dejun your real name or your gaming nickname? From the looks of it, you should just be known as Zhen Dechou  as even Fanning Knight is more handsome than you!"

"Hahaha, you are right. What is this Emperor's Rich Guild? We have never heard anything about it, nor do we know about any Zhen Dejun," said Fanning Knight.

Zhen Dejun's face immediately turned dark and he sneered, "I heard that your guild is known as 'Enjoy the Bustling Scene' and has only seven or eight members. Plus, all of you are inexperienced. We are all in the same regional city so do be careful in the future!"

"Oh, do you want to fight with us?" Fiery Blade Sage yelled toward Fanning Knight, "President, is this Zhen Dejun threatening us?"

"Clowns, not worth worrying about!" Fanning Knight waved his hands indifferently.

Zhen Dejun sneered again and First-Class Star said, "Master Zhen, ignore these two poor ghosts as their IQ is obviously low! Both of them have melee professions and are here to finish the city defense mission. Master Zhen, let's not leave any monsters for them so they can just stare when they are unable to get any experience!"

"Sure!" Zhen Dejun nodded his head, ignoring Fanning Knight and Fiery Blade Sage. He looked at Li Hanqiang instead and said, "I heard that you have a lot of gold coins here. Would you be interested in selling some? I can buy them with cash. How does 1 gold coin for 10 yuan sound?"

Li Hanqiang glanced at Zhen Dejun as if he were looking at an idiot, too lazy to give any response.

Fanning Knight laughed out loudly. "One gold coin for ten yuan, hahahaha. Great guilds are so different. Zhen Dechou, with that price, I will buy all the gold coins that you have."

Fiery Blade Sage immediately nodded and said, "Give me 20 yuan worth of gold coins!"

"You two gangsters!" Zhen Dejun held his tongue despite his discomfort. He knew that he alone would not be able to win against those two, hence he said nothing. He looked at Li Hanqiang again. "My friend, think about it! Although the price that I am offering is not high, I am trading with you on behalf of the Emperor's Rich Guild. This game is still in its beginning stages and there will be plenty of opportunities for us to work together in the future. You won't lose out if you decide to build a relationship with the Emperor's Rich Guild. If you can sell me 100 gold coins, I might even give you an invitation to join the Emperor's Rich Guild."

Li Hanqinag waved his hand. "Sorry but I'm not interested." He gave a glance to Zhen Dejun and turned away to face Fanning Knight instead as he said, "You will go to the Chaotic Stone Slab at the front."

He gave it a thought. Fanning Knight's figure flashed as he changed positions with Dark Redemption so that he was placed closer to the Space-Time Wormhole.

This was an ability of the Chaotic City Lord, who could change the positions of the players before the monster attacks.

Li Hanqiang carried out a few adjustments, placing Fiery Blade Sage on the Chaotic Sone Slab right before the Basic Arrow Tower, the second nearest spot to the Space-Time Wormhole. After him was Dark Redemption, First-Class Star, and then Zhen Dejun.

After he was done with the arrangements, Li Hanqiang immediately ended the preparation time. The floor shook as the huge Space-Time Wormhole began to tear open.
