My Chaotic City

Chapter 34:Wheelbarrow

[Ding, congratulations on your successful raid. You have successfully gotten a wheelbarrow!]

The scene in front of them changed in a short moment as Li Hanqiang and the ten little gremlins were transferred back to the Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain.

"Long live the King, long live the King!"

The group of little gremlins chanted. One of the Green Gremlin pushed the wheelbarrow around while three others were following behind it while performing somersaults.

'The raid was successful? This is just far too simple!' Internally, Li Hanqiang was proud of himself. This was known as success in a single move.

He called out to the little gremlin running around with the wheelbarrow, being pleasantly surprised when he looked at its stats.

Wheelbarrow: Special prop, single person equipment, chariot.

Durability: 300

Physical Defense: 10

Magic Resistance: 10

Chariot characteristics: It can increase movement speed by 1 meter per second after equipped. When the player that has equipped this is attacked, the wheelbarrow will be the first to bear the damage. When the durability of the wheelbarrow reaches 0, it will be completely damaged.

Characteristics: The wheelbarrow can be used to carry items and has a high chance of transformation.

Restriction: The height of the player equipping this is limited to 1.4 meters or less.

"This thing is actually a chariot!" Li Hanqiang could not help but admire the settings made by the Game Creator Endless. This was really an attempt to show off.

He imagined the little gremlins going to war as they pushed the small cart onto the battlefield. It did not matter that it looked funny, so long as it was practical.

'Not bad, not bad!' Li Hanqiang nodded, his confidence boosted. After a short moment, he brought the ten gremlin team with him to continue raiding.

[Ding, 10 gold coins consumed. You and the ten gremlin team you are leading are in the [Raid Clone]. The current Clone has been randomly constructed and its difficulty level is set at difficult. We wish you a happy raid.]

'It has become a difficult Clone!' Li Hanqiang looked around, discovering that he was yet again in a Chaotic City. However, this Chaotic City was obviously much more advanced. The War Corridor was particularly spacious and there were city walls at a distance. A tall castle stood behind the wall, with two mechanical airships floating right above it!

The gremlins, regardless of consequences, immediately charged along the War Corridor as if they were attacking the city. Among them, the Green Gremlin who was pushing the wheelbarrow ran the fastest. However, they ended up running back without actually going far, constantly yelling.

The city gate could be seen some distance away opened as a lot of sheep-headed monsters in black robes surged out.

These sheep-headed monsters floated just like ghosts. Their feet did not touch the ground and their black robes had black mist coming out of them. They were three meters tall and had long scythes in their hands. Their eyes were blood red and their movement speed was extremely fast.

[Void Demon: Level 60, 12000 HP!!]

Li Hanqiang was taken aback and quickly shouted, "You guys! Let's withdraw quickly! We won't be able to carry out this raid..."

Before he could finish speaking, a Void Demon threw its scythe at him, killing him in an instant.

[Ding, you have been killed and your level has dropped to Level 6. You have failed the current raid!"

After the system notification sounded, Li Hanqiang found himself returned to the entrance of the Raid Clone. He really had gone down to Level 6.

In the blink of an eye, a Green Gremlin ran out of the entrance of the clone with the small wheelbarrow. Behind it, there were only four other gremlins that followed.

[Ding, five of your little gremlins have died.]

'Your f*cking uncle, I have been demoted by six levels!'

It took Li Hanqiang a long time before he could react. He stomped his feet around, depressed at what had happened. He had failed the raid by being caught off-guard and four of his gremlins had died just like that. Even he had not expected that he would be killed in a flash!

'It's a trap! The difficulty level of the Raid Clone was too difficult and the robbery ended before it had even begun. However, if this robbery had been successful, the harvest would have been too good to even imagine.'

Li Hanqiang sighed. It was not easy for him to level up. In just an instant, his levels had dropped by half. This was quite a big setback for him.

The five little gremlins who kept their lives were heartless. After they ran out of the clone, they quickly acted as if nothing had happened, pushing the wheelbarrow around as they made somersaults and stacked themselves on top of each other next to Li Hanqiang. They seemed to be having a good time.

Li Hanqiang suddenly felt exhausted. It was a life-threatening risk to bring the little gremlins to the raid.

He had no intention of continuing raid at the moment and walked a few circles in front of the entrance of the Gremlin Mountain Mine, Herbs Garden, Lumberyard, Farm, and Workshop. When he saw that there was no system notification had appeared, he remembered the attribute information from the Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain that made it clear that the efficiency of the little gremlins was completely unpredictable. With this, he could no longer wait around stupidly.

Li Hanqiang waved his arms, gathering five little gremlins as he said, "You guys, follow me and patrol the mountain!"

"Yes, King!"

The five little gremlins followed behind Li Hanqiang happily. The Green Gremlin who had originally been pushing the wheelbarrow was still keeping at it and not letting go.

Although the area of the Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain was large, there were no wild monsters as Li Hanqiang continued to lead the five little gremlins around the mountain. He was expecting to find something good, but there was nothing in the end. He would just have to treat this as though he had gone on a scenic tour.

'The Game Creator Endless really doesn't think like a human. Everything has to be explored on our own. I will definitely have to try the Raid Clone again later, but what tasks should I arrange for these five little gremlins?"

Li Hanqiang thought for a moment and suddenly had an idea. He led the five little gremlins away from the Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain.

After the fifth wave of monsters attacks on the city, the four Chaotic Stone Slabs obtained by Li Hanqiang had not yet been placed. At that moment, he thought about it and placed one Chaotic Stone Slab each at the left and right side of the Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain's entrance.

After picking both a Green Gremlin and a Red Gremlin, he said, "You two. Go over there and stand guard!"

"Yes, King!"

The two little gremlins were extremely intelligent and immediately listened to their orders. They somersaulted towards the two Chaotic Stone Slabs, standing tall as they become guards, their heads raised.

Except, there was nothing prestigious about them at their 1.2 meters in height, with their funky hair color and 30 HP.

'It's better to have any guard instead of none!' Li Hanqiang nodded with satisfaction. In fact, he did not really want any guards, he just wanted to see if the little demons could be placed on the Chaotic Stone Slabs.

Since he had now found out that the little gremlins could stand on the Chaotic Stone Slabs, Li Hanqiang had an idea.

Next, he placed two Chaotic Stone Slabs to the left and right of the Blue Ripple Pond's entrance and arranged for another two little gremlins to be on guard.

These little gremlins were only at level 1 but could be still be transformed into 'Little Drill Gremlin' and 'Little Thunder Gremlin'. Li Hanqiang wondered allowing them to participate in the city defense would be considered "arduous training".

There were too many things that the players needed to explore on their own in the Endless World. The Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain was interesting and worth vigorously developing in the future. Li Hanqiang felt that he needed to let go and try it more.

Ding, ding, ding, ding... A sudden sound rang in Li Hanqiang's mind.

This was the alarm clock that he had set in his gaming helmet. When the alarm rang, it meant that it was six o'clock in the morning and it was time to buy breakfast.

'Fine, time to go offline to fill up my stomach. I'll fight again after I've filled my stomach...'

After he brushed his teeth and washed his face, Li Hanqiang stepped out with his flip-flops, wearing a pair of baggy pants and a small vest. He opened the door while humming a tune, ready to go to the Tian Ji Bun Shop to buy breakfast.

Pushing the door open, he had not thought that he would be greeted with such a sight.
