The Gold Coin Challenge had begun!

Li Hanqiang stepped up into the air and watched as the Golden Infantry emerged from the Space-Time Wormhole, assembled in a neat square. They were queued in rows of ten, each holding a golden spear and wearing golden armor. They looked quite impressive, just like a gold-plated Terracotta Army.

'These monsters are only at Level 10 but have up to 2000 Hit Points. They're pretty strong,' Li Hanqiang thought to himself. However, that did not matter to him as he realized that the Golden Infantry could only move slowly in a line and advanced forward at around one meter per second.

The Fire Tower immediately started to show its power. As soon as the Golden Infantry came out of the Space-Time Wormhole, flames burst from their body and a '-30' appeared neatly over their heads!

The Golden Infantry itself did not seem to notice, their formation undisturbed.

Li Hanqiang could not help but show a smug smile.

The Fire Tower could deal 30 points of fire damage per second to all targets within a 50-meter range and favored slow moving units. Even if the Gold Infantry had up to 2000 HP, their movement speed was slow and would not be able to withstand 67 seconds of the Fire Tower's burn!

Only 67 seconds. At their movement speed, it would be impossible for them to get out of the Fire Tower's attack range!

Everything was playing out similarly as to what Li Hanqiang had expected. However, the Huntsman's Trap that was inactive during the Golden Infantry stage suddenly came into the limelight, catching a Golden Cavalry as soon as it came up like a giant steel mouth biting at its prey. 

The Golden Cavalry were trapped where they stood, the damage figures of '-30' and '-15' appearing on their heads one after another.

The '-30' damage was caused by the Fire Tower, while the '-15' was damage done by the Huntsman's Trap.

As a result, the first row of Golden Cavalry became the first victims of this attack wave.

AS they disappeared into the fading light, the Huntsman's Trap opened automatically and caught another golden cavalry in just two seconds' time.

At that moment, the rest of the Golden Cavalry in the front had entered the attack range of the Basic Arrow Tower. As crossbow bolts began to fly, they each dealt a full 40 points of damage.

'This Golden Cavalry looks great, but is it possible that they have no physical defense? Despite that, even receiving full damage from the Basic Arrow Tower will not work as it can only reach a maximum of 80 damage points per second. With its full power, it will only be able to kill one Golden Cavalry in 20 seconds.'

In other words, the Basic Arrow Tower could attack for a maximum time of 500 seconds and during this period, it would only be able to kill 25 Golden Cavalries with half of their HP.

Li Hanqiang began looking forward to how the Sword Tower would perform.
