While he was distracted by Di Yi and Di Er, Xia Jiannan took this opportunity to push Xia Jinhu away as his gaze met Di Yi's amused ones.

Following his line of sight, Butler Zuo clapped his hands. "Oh, yes! They are Eldest Young Master's bodyguards, Di Yi and Di Er. They just arrived a few moments ago."

Xia Jinhu nodded his head, looking at Di Yi and Di Er with his scrutinizing gaze, seemingly trying to figure out if they were suited for the job or not.

It seemed like he had totally forgotten the pain in his arm and the fact that his fragile little heart was broken because his older brother didn't love him anymore.

Arranging his suit, Xia Jinhu put up a dignified expression as he stood in front of his older brother.

When he was being serious, Xia Jinhu could actually project an imposing aura on par with Xia Jiannan's.

"Let's see what they are capable of."

With that, Xia Jinhu took a step forward.

Xia Jinhu was planning to put on a dominant act, but before he could even reach the bottom of the stairs, he suddenly stumbled on his feet.
