It was certainly understandable for Wang Rouxi to be surprised about this matter. After all, she had noticed that Lu Sha had a slight dislike towards Xia Jiannan, though she did not know why.

Aside from that, didn't she just send Xia Jiannan home earlier? Why was he leaving again all of a sudden?

Setting this matter aside for the time being, Wang Rouxi turned her attention to the five.

"Alright, everyone..." Wang Rouxi clapped her hands to call their attention. "Clean up and go rest. You have your mission to do tomorrow."

"Hn."

"Aye aye, Leader Xi!"

"O-okay."

"That would be best."

Lu Lenglian, Lu Yizhi, Lu Wei and Lu Qingya had expressed their agreement. Only Lu Sha remained motionless in his seat as he stared at his phone expressionlessly.

"W-where...do we sleep?" Even in his drunken state, Lu Wei was still as shy as ever.

Wang Rouxi had thought of this problem before and she decided to let them stay in the music room first.

Although it was called a music room, there were only a few instruments there as of the moment. She had not had the time to completely organize everything in her house before she left for Fei Country.

The room was mostly empty, they could lay some duvets on the ground for them to sleep on.  

The drunk Lu Yizhi abruptly stood up from his seat and tugged at Lu Lenglian, "Lesh gooo!"

The others looked on as he swayed back and forth, struggling to keep himself from falling on the ground.

Seeing this, Lu Lenglian's gaze softened and he yanked him into his arms.

Lu Yizhi was suddenly caught off guard when his nostrils were assaulted by an extremely manly scent.

But soon, he relaxed in Lu Lenglian's familiar embrace. "Lengleng..."

That slightly reddened face, which was very close to his, coupled with that affectionate endearment, made Lu Lenglian have the urge to keep the oblivious fellow to himself. But he knew that he had to restrain himself.

'It's not the right time yet.'

Paying no heed to the curious gazes being thrown in their way, the pair went to the music room with Lu Yizhi holding on to Lu Lenglian's neck.

Lu Qingya then turned to Lu Wei, whose eyelids were drooping as he leaned on the couch. Holding out a hand in a gentlemanly way, she said: "Come on."

Lu Wei stared at Lu Qingya's held out hand and at her beautiful face for a few seconds before shaking his head, muttering to himself: "I can still stand on my own."

As he said that, Lu Wei stood up and followed after Lu Lenglian and Lu Yizhi.

Although Lu Wei's voice was very faint that anyone could hardly hear it, Lu Qingya heard every single word he said. Her eyes dimmed as she stared at Lu Wei's departing back.

Following behind Lu Wei, Lu Qingya's whole aura seemed to have turned gloomy, her shoulders slumped down.

After witnessing everything from the sidelines, Wang Rouxi was speechless.

She had only been gone for a couple of years and what she had seen upon her return greatly stumped her.

Lenglian and Yizhi...?

Qingya and Xiao Wei...?

Wang Rouxi's mind spun with countless possibilities.

If this was a few years ago, Wang Rouxi would not have caught on to the emotions that her subordinates had for one another.

But it's entirely different now. Her stay in Fei Country had taught Wang Rouxi the extremities of feelings and emotions that a person must have.

Within that few years, she learned how to become a human again. Some people taught her the most important part of being a human: to be able to feel.

Wang Rouxi and Lu Sha were finally left alone in the living room.

"I need to go." 

Lu Sha informed Wang Rouxi as he stood up from his seat. He did not look back as proceeded towards the door.

"Wait." Wang Rouxi called out. "You don't have to leave."

Lu Sha stopped in his tracks, but he did not turn back. He did not want Wang Rouxi to see the repressed emotions in his eyes.

Knowing that she had his attention, Wang Rouxi retrieved a customized black and silver calling card from her suit pocket.

Without any hesitation, Wang Rouxi dialed the number written on it. She then put the phone on speaker mode.

"Hello..."
