Olivia’s words of concern were stuck in her throat, and she felt bitter inside.

Brian’s every word struck Olivia’s heart heavily. Although his words were not insulting, they were a hundred times more hurtful than Joseph’s words.

Olivia fell silent, which in turn made Brian unhappy. He stood up, walked to the door, pinched her small chin, and felt disgusted.

“Why? Are you mute? Or did my arrival interrupt your date?”

Olivia could not hold it in any longer. She flung away Brian’s hand and retreated to the door. She leaned against the door frame weakly and looked at the somewhat unfamiliar man in front of her. She could not believe that this was the person who had been accompanying her day and night.

“I’ll just ask you one question. Do you believe me?”

“Believe you? I definitely believe you. The adultery between the two of you is already so shameless. What reason do I have to not believe you?”

Brian was a little agitated, so he went to the office after saying that.

Olivia felt aggrieved. She could not believe that he would treat her like this. It was as though he had praised her to the skies and then thrown her down heavily.

Olivia felt as if her heart had been pricked by something. It hurt so much that she couldn’t breathe. Her body went limp, and she slumped onto the ground, feeling as if all the strength in her body had been sucked out.

She had also wanted to explain, but Brian had not given her a chance to do so and left just like that. He had not even spoken another word. Instead, he had left behind a broken heart full of anger.

Uncle Ford walked up and sighed when he saw Olivia sitting on the floor.

“Madam, you’re being a little willful. Brian loves you very much. After you came, he changed a lot, and there’s a lot of fun at home. He’s also been coming back every day. I hope you think about it carefully and don’t regret it.”

Although he didn’t really like Olivia, he had watched Brian grow up and was very concerned about him. Such an incident was really worrying.

Olivia also knew that she was in the wrong, but Uncle Ford’s words did not sound that harsh. She did not expect him, who was usually a little arrogant, to care so much about Brian.

“Uncle Ford, I hope you believe that I’m really not like what is shown in the video. I’ve experienced his kindness and treasure it in my heart. As for the video, someone framed me, but he doesn’t seem to believe me.”

When Uncle Ford saw that Olivia had also revealed her true feelings to him, he suddenly realized that this usually sharp-tongued girl was quite likable. Uncle Ford couldn’t help but tell her more, hoping that the two of them could reconcile sooner.

“As a man, he’d definitely be very angry upon finding out about such a betrayal. He’s at the age where he’s hot-blooded and full of vigor. That’s why he cares so much when he’s deeply in love. It should be fine after he calms down and you explain things to him.”

Brian was deep in love!?

Olivia actually felt a little happy. Uncle Ford was right. She couldn’t just sit still and wait for death. She had to take the initiative to settle this matter. Otherwise, there would be more incidents.

“I understand, Uncle Ford. Thank you, I’m usually quite annoying, right?”

Uncle Ford looked at Olivia in shock. He hadn’t expected this girl to know her own situation. However, he couldn’t say that he hated her. There was always a reason to hate someone. She just seemed to have a sharp tongue.

“Madam, you just have a sharp tongue. Nothing else seems inappropriate. Miss Smith was a little rude that night. You did nothing wrong.”

Olivia was a little surprised. She did not expect Uncle Ford’s eyes to be so much brighter than that bast*rd Brian’s. Perhaps the onlooker could see the bigger picture. It was not his fault that he could not see clearly. After all, they were childhood friends.

“Madam, don’t let your thoughts run wild. It’s time for me to get busy with my own matters.”

Uncle Ford left behind these words and then left.

Olivia suddenly realized that he wanted her to investigate the truth and clear her name. She had to admit that Uncle Ford was truly a smart person. He didn’t seem to have said anything, but he had already revealed everything.

Olivia took a taxi to her cousin’s house and discussed a countermeasure with her. She decided to go to the nightclub to take a look at the surveillance footage from last night. This way, she would be able to reconstruct the entire incident. This way, Brian would probably forgive her.

The two of them arrived at night. It was almost the same here in the day and night, and there was no difference between day and night. When the bodyguard saw someone coming, he immediately greeted them with a smile, but when he heard that they wanted to look at the surveillance cameras, he frowned and even wanted to chase them away.

“We would welcome you to come and play, but this request is too unreasonable. If you lose anything, you can tell us. We can help you find it.”

This attitude was something that Olivia had already expected. Usually, there would be many illegal transactions in such places. He probably thought that she was a police officer handling a case.

Olivia quickly explained, “You should know my face. Something happened to me at your place yesterday, but I was framed. If I want to prove my innocence now, I can only use the surveillance cameras.”

The bodyguard naturally recognized this woman and knew what Olivia was talking about. He really couldn’t understand the world of the rich. She had been the one who took the initiative in the video. Now, she was saying that she had been framed. She was probably afraid that Brian wouldn’t want her anymore.

When Tiffany saw the bodyguard’s expression, she was a little dissatisfied. “Since we’re here, we’re your guests. How can you treat guests like this? Bring us directly to see your boss. Whether we can see the footage or not should be up to your boss, right?”

The bodyguard thought he could refuse, but he didn’t expect the other party to be so shrewd. Tiffany didn’t continue to talk nonsense. Instead, she took out a business card and handed it to the bodyguard, asking him to deliver it to his boss.

The bodyguard walked to the side and came over very quickly. He changed his tough attitude from before and invited them in with a smile.

“Please follow me.”

Olivia was curious as to how her cousin had convinced him.

“Cousin, what’s going on?”

Tiffany shrugged. “Those who can be in the business world have connections in various fields. Naturally, they won’t dare to reject me.”

Although Olivia was confused, she was happy that they could talk to the boss and settle the matter.

Along the way, Olivia was somewhat surprised by what she saw. It was only after she came today that she realized that the nightclub was actually a completely different world. It wasn’t as simple as just drinking alcohol.

However, Olivia’s character didn’t allow her to be overly surprised. She wouldn’t come into contact with such a place often either. It was just that she needed it now, so it wouldn’t be too late to think about other things in the future.

When she arrived at the room on the top floor, Olivia met the boss of the nightclub. The decorations here could be described as rather luxurious, but at the same time, they didn’t seem too tacky. Instead, they seemed rather harmonious together.
