Her eyes started tearing up "Terra… she betrayed us." her tears fall onto the beach as her hands curl into fists.

I put my hand on her shoulder "Betrayal is hard on both sides. Perhaps it hurt her just as much as it hurt you."

She looks up at me with anger filling her eyes "What would you know about it" She spat her words unable to control her emotions.

A similar feeling as with Fisk was blooming in my c.h.e.s.t again as I glared at her "I invented it."

I no longer wish to argue with the child. With the wave of my hand, the shadows near me grow from the ground into the shape of a person.

"Legion lives to serve the King." The six thousand voices echo as the shadows around him fade.

"Where are the others?" I ask ignoring the awestruck Supergirl.

"They are fighting at the 49ers stadium my King." He says with a bow.

I nod "Dismissed."

He fades to mist as I take to the sky and stare in the direction of the stadium. I vanish from where I'm standing and appear on top of the box seats building.

I see that although two of the titans are unconscious but none of them are in danger of dying so I stay above watching.

The green boy is shifting shapes into different animals fighting the girl I assume is his girlfriend. A hell of a lovers quarrel. The other two who were awake, Robin and Superboy, were fighting the masked man to a standstill.

I am surprised that the human was able to hold up to the Kryptonian, not only that but he already beat the Tameranean and Martian. I feel his strength isn't his but I can't tell where he is getting it from. He isn't drawing from a realm but it was something given to him.

"Terra. I know you don't want to do this." the green boy's voice sounds pained "He has something on you right? We can help."

She stomps as she throws a large piece of earth at him which he nimbly dodges turning into a monkey. Seeing him dodge her eyes grow teary. Lifting both arms above her head the field begins to curl around him quickly.

Shifting into a mouse he swiftly crawls out shifting back to human he stands on the curled ground looking at her with a hard gaze. "I won't fight you, Terra."

Tears fall from her eyes "Beastboy. Please. I don't want to hurt you. Just leave."

Beastboy is about to reply but he puts both his arms up blocking a surprise kick from the masked man. He falls to the ground unconscious as the girl in black and yellow looks like she wants to go to his side.

"Don't hesitate my apprentice." The masked man says.

Robin and Superboy quickly go to Beastboy's side to make sure he is okay. Their eyes look up at the masked man slowly shifting to Terra.

"What does Slade have on you?" Robin asks his voice slightly quivering.

Terra flinches as he asks while Superboy rushes 'Slade' again trading blows on nearly equal footing. It is obvious that Slade is perhaps a hundred times better at hand to hand combat but is slightly weaker.

I roll my eye as I appear behind the girl as my voice causes all of them to freeze. "That is enough of this farce."

The girl jumps as she turns to look at me with fear present in her eyes. I can tell her gaze is drawn to my now out horns and flaming crown as my wings curl behind me.

I put a hand on her shoulder as I force her to look into my eyes. "What is it you d.e.s.i.r.e?"

The tears in her eyes well up again as she loses the power in her legs "I just want a place to belong." I let go of her letting her fall to her knees putting her face in her hands sobbing.

I look at the other three staring at me "There you have it…"

Before I can continue Slade rushes me sending a kick to my temple. With my vastly superior speed, I send a backhand at his body.

*BOOM*

"Quiet while I speak, Mutt," I say as I whip my hand knocking off the blood in a spatter against the ground.

Robin's eyes widened "You… killed him?"

I shrug "Yes, usually people die when reduced to paste."

Superboy looks at the paste that used to be Slade with angry eyes. His gaze turns to the girl, Terra, as he marches forward.

"You… It's your fault! You killed her!" He reaches out a hand towards her but I grab his wrist.

"None of your friends died, I saved the ones in the tower," I say giving him a small glare.

Relief washes over his face before it turns cold again. "It doesn't change that she betrayed us."

My eyes linger on him for a moment before moving to the girl who is clearing tears from her face. "What is your side of the story."

She gives a small sigh as she walks over and sits down next to Beastboy. A conflicted look adorns her face as she brushes the hair out of his unconscious face.

"They betrayed me first." She looks up at Robin "I told him that I was a spy sent by Slade to give information about you guys. But that I had chosen to change because of him."

A tinge of anger shows on her face "He told me that he would never tell anyone. In exchange, I would give Slade fake information and never go back. That's when you asked me into the meeting room and told me you knew I was a spy."

"... I just snapped." She says putting her head down stroking Beastboys hair.

Robin's brows furrow "Terra, He never told me anything. I found out by hacking into your emails."

Superboy's head snaps to Robin "Even I know, that's f.u.c.k.e.d."

Terra, however, looks like she is barely holding herself together. Looking at her hands she starts to mutter to herself.

"It was all because of a misunderstanding…" she looks up at Robin. "I… I have to apologize to Beastboy."

As if on command Beastboy starts to wake up. He slowly sits up rubbing his head while looking around "What happened?"

"BEASTBOY!" Terra yelled as she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "I'm so sorry." She says as tears start to fall again.

I let go of Superboy as I stare at the scene 'For an earth manipulator she sure carries a lot of water.' I muse to myself.
