Chapter 40 Ring

"That's not a tower," the Taoist chief retracted his arm and hugged his chest. "That's a chimney."

Xiaolan nodded, the cylindrical object in front of her was indeed the image of a chimney in her impression.

"Why is there a chimney behind the ruined temple?"

A few people looked at each other, and walked around the hall to the rear where the chimney stood.

"It's really a chimney," the little fool walked to the front again, shouting to them from a distance.

Xiaolan approached and looked up at it from a close distance, only to realize that the chimney was indeed tall, standing black and black behind the ancestral hall, as if she was talking quietly.

Maple Sugar looked around, and suddenly pointed to the hall and said, "There is a door here, which leads out of the hall."

Xiaolan glanced at the door, which was a spacious double-opening door just like the front door. I don’t know why the back door was so delicately repaired.

But the door problem didn't bother her for too long, and Xiaolan soon thought about the chimney that shouldn't be here.

This chimney is slightly thicker than a normal chimney, and it shows a dark texture like oil under the light of a flashlight. Xiaolan stretched out her finger and stabbed it, and the dark greasy object with peculiar smell stuck to the finger.

The head of the road reluctantly handed Xiaolan a pack of paper towels. The flashlight light wandered along the outer wall of the chimney, and different colors appeared.

Xiaolan probed carefully, turned around and looked at Dao Chang, "This chimney also has a door."

As he said, he was about to reach out and grab the slightly raised small door handle. The Taoist hurriedly stopped, holding the same dirty handle with his gloved right hand and gently pulling it away.

"What's the smell?" Xiaoyin closed her nose and approached them, "What are you doing?"

A scent that can't tell you what it is, it seems to have been closed in a chimney for too long, with a strong and pungent resentment.

Tao Master was choked and took a step back. Xiaolan felt it was okay, and it smelled no worse than the blood house.

In the chimney is the ashes left after burning. You can't see the original appearance of the ashes, but the stench in the air shows everything. This is by no means a simple chimney.

"What's that?" The little fool pinched his nose, and illuminated a spot in the chimney with a flashlight from a distance. Everyone looked at it, and there was an object reflecting the light of the flashlight.

Xiaoyin narrowed his eyes, "Metal, something...not too big."

"Who went in and took it out?"

Maple syrup leaned to the small door, ready to hold the probe beside the chimney to go in. As soon as his hand touched the chimney wall, he gave a disgusting "Huh...".

It seems that no one intends to enter the chimney that exudes the old stench.

"Then you go," Xiaoyin didn't hesitate, and turned to the fool, "If you find out, you go in. It's fair, right."

The idiot just wanted to open his mouth to retort, and the leader nodded to answer, "Go, you idiot, you are the tallest boy, and you can see things. We hold your leg and you try to see if you can take it out."

Isolated and helpless, the fool took a disposable protective gear and went into the chimney in the eyes of everyone's expectation and sympathy.

Xiaoyin was holding back a smile, Xiaolan herself felt nothing funny, and she didn't consciously laugh when she saw Xiaoyin's expression.

The fool began to back up, and several people tensed their expressions quickly, watching the fool's gray-headed face, coughing and jumping out of the small door.

"I found it, it's a ring." The fool shook off the dust on his head, and stretched out his right hand to reveal the gadgets he held in his palm. "Also, I said how such a smell, this chimney is not burning wood, this chimney is burning people. what!"

As soon as he heard this, Xiaolan's gaze left directly from the silver men's ring, and looked at the fool in astonishment.

The other people had the same expression. The fool took off his mask and pointed to the inside of the chimney, "There is a skeleton of a person who hasn't been burnt clean inside. When I exited, I still pressed my hand. They were all buried in a pile of ashes. This is clearly a crematorium."

The oil stains on the outer wall, the pungent smell, should have been thought of long ago.

Why is there a crematorium behind the ancestral hall in Lianshui Village?

"You read that right, isn't it the unburned wood?" Xiaoyin said.

"Why don't you go in and have a look?"

"……Kill you!"

"There are too many secrets in this Lianshui Village..." The Taoist leader took out Xiao Lan, who was about to poke his head into the stove, and took the ring that the fool found. "We have to come once in the daytime. We better find the willing Villagers who say something."

   "Daoist!"

Baomu's cry sounded from behind everyone, and the fright in the cry made everyone tremble.

"what's happenin?"

"Dao Master!" Turning around, Bao Mu was pointing his finger at the back door of the hall, his body and his voice were shaking, "Just now... this door just opened!"
