Lulurun and Caliburn blast each other away before both slammed to the ground.

As Lulurun looks to the sky, she can see a gigantic magic circle looking back at her, Heaven’s Fall seems to have not lost its effect yet, while the white in her vision has spread farther and clouds her mind.

The pain was numbing, she couldn’t feel her left arm.

“Gu… ah…” Lulurun coughs.

She turns to her left, she can faintly see red liquid through the cloudy white, despite her fading consciousness she can sense that her left arm isn’t just bleeding.

It has been cut off by Excaliburn, the recovery magic she activated immediately before to stop the bleeding just barely saved Lulurun’s life.

As Lulurun experienced a similar feeling before she reincarnated in this world, she knows better than anyone else how terrible this situation is, but she doesn’t have the power to do anything.

“It’s over… Excaliburn… I made him too strong…” Lulurun whispered.

She deserved it but still, she regretted making Excaliburn like this.

Excaliburn suddenly appeared, why was he here and why did he speak so much about subduing the Witches?

The script for Excaliburn is simple, he’s an ally of justice, he has a passionate rivalry against mages, and considers Lulurun specifically to be his mortal rival. Why did it lead to this?

There are some possibilities, some of them are,

“Not so simple… was it…”

As Lulurun struggles to cling to life, she hears a voice coming closer, one she didn’t want to hear.

“I almost died!” Excaliburn yelled. “You are a hell of a rival to have gotten me to this point.”

Though half of his face has been completely destroyed, Excaliburn appears still in good spirits.

Sparks erupted from the damaged sector of his face, but Excaliburn continued to move.

“You’re kidding… half of your face is missing…” Lulurun whispered.

“Geeze, it’s not a problem at all!!!” Excaliburn yelled.

The sparks erupt more violently. It probably isn’t an issue, but Excaliburn has still suffered considerable damage, though she can’t think of a way to turn the tides at all.

“I can’t be too careful with you at all, my rival! You caught me a little by surprise!!” Excaliburn said as he approached, sparks still flying from his head.

If she doesn’t do something, the robot she’s created will kill her.

“Can I try… begging for my life?” Lulurun asked.

Even if it wasn’t going to work.

“What?” Excaliburn asked. “I’ll allow it.”

And with that, Lulurun takes another gamble.

“I, am actually… Yokoi Keisuke, not Lulurun…” Lulurun said.

“………”

Excaliburn stopped for a moment and thought about it, but immediately dismissed it.

“Unsightly!!!!!” he yelled.

“It would be, wouldn’t it…?” Lulurun asked.

“To invoke the name of my master in your deception, you are a treacherous, evil Witch as I’d thought!” Excaliburn shouted.

Contrary to changing his emotions, Excaliburn points his holy sword at Lulurun.

“Do you recognize Yokoi Keisuke… as your master?” Lulurun asked.

“Of course I do! The one who created me! Master! And all of this world, too!”

“In that case…”

If he recognizes Lulurun as Yokoi Keisuke… Lulurun still has a glimmer of hope.

“I will not allow you to demean his noble name, it’s unforgivable!!!” Excaliburn yelled.

That Lulurun had given her name had the opposite intended effect, Excaliburn starts sparking even more as he rages.

“I will purify your filthy soul with my holy sword! This sword will be your salvation!” Excaliburn yelled.

“Stop… don’t…” Lulurun whispers.

Excaliburn’s holy sword shines and prepares to plunge into Lulurun, killing her.

Lululun also thought it was over and closed her eyes, about to be killed by the character she created, just when it seemed like there was a glimmer of hope.

Then, lightning struck――――――――
