"So… will you take me to the final destination of this place?"

"That's right." The mysterious voice spoke.

"What's there? Are there legendary items?"

"…"

The mysterious voice felt a little annoyed. If it had a body, it would definitely bite Hikaru to death.

"There are some treasures there, you can get them."

Hikaru frowned and said, "Some treasures? Is the owner of this place that stingy?"

The mysterious voice couldn't hold it any longer, as it was so angry: "Do you believe that I will let this place explode and die with you?"

"Ack! I was Just joking around a bit."

The mysterious voice was extremely angry, this was the first time it had been angry since its creation until now.

Hikaru was different, he felt a bit disappointed right now. He thought that the final reward would be great, and at least have a few Legendary items.

A second later, he was teleported to another room. This room was smaller than the one before, there was nothing inside, but only a coffin in the middle of the room.

Hikaru frowned and asked, "Oy! Where is the treasure you spoke of?"

No one answered his question.

Hikaru now shook his head and sighed in frustration, he felt as if he had been tricked.

He asked Rika: "Are there any items in this place?"

[It seems that the things attached to the wall are energy gems. You can take them, Master.]

[Besides… if you're not afraid, you can take that coffin.]

When Hikaru heard that he shivered. Take the coffin? Was he so poor that he had to take the coffin of someone?

[Master, that coffin is made of a material from space. If it is used to make a weapon, then that weapon would be at least Tier UR.]

"Okay! For the sake of the territory's development, I will have to sacrifice my last moral line to get that coffin."

Rika: [...]

[Master, you seem to be getting more and more shameless.]

Hikaru: "..."

At this time, he approached the coffin. Just as Rika said, Hikaru couldn't use his skill to judge what material this coffin was made of.

However, this material was extremely hard, like solid gold.

On top of the coffin were many strange characters that were carved, Hikaru thought that the characters were probably Runes.

They were constantly active, and they were absorbing the energy from the outside and adding it to the inside of the coffin.

Hikaru frowned and whispered, "Is the person inside the coffin still alive?"

[Probably so.] Rika said: [I can't look inside the coffin. The surrounding Runes are forming a seal that separates outsiders from peeking.]

Hikaru approached, and tried to use Void Energy to erode the seal. However, he failed.

That's right, when he used Void Energy to erode the seal, it seems that the Runes protecting the coffin also absorbed the Void Energy and used it to maintain the coffin.

No matter how much Void Energy Hikaru used, all of that energy was absorbed. The coffin was like a bottomless cave.

Hikaru tried to put the coffin into the space pocket, but that didn't work either.

The Runes around the coffin were protecting it from all kinds of magic.

Hikaru sighed, not knowing what to do with this coffin. But if he left now, he would feel a little unwilling.

It took him a long time to get to this place but he would return without getting anything.

Hikaru sighed, he turned his attention to the surrounding wall. On the wall there were many strange drawings.

But it was enough for Hikaru to realize it was a prayer ceremony. Next to that ceremony was an image of a giant wearing a white robe, stretching out his arms as if he wanted to embrace everyone in his lap.

Followed by images of wars between gods and humans. However, Hikaru saw that it didn't seem to be a god, but someone from outside this world.

Probably aliens.

The man in the white robe earlier led the entire world against the aliens.

In the end they won, but the world also became a battlefield, so nothing remained.

The Four walls which were accompanied by drawings told an extremely majestic story. However, the authenticity of the story remained a mystery.

Of course, Hikaru did not fully believe this story, however, he also needed to keep one thing in mind.

That's right, aliens.

Maybe… the aliens were people from another world. Nor he couldn't rule out the possibility that the people from outside this world were  ancient players.

After all, Rika said that players in other worlds always wanted to invade the worlds around them.

While Hikaru was looking at the pictures on the wall, the lid of the box suddenly opened.

The extremely loud noise made Hikaru notice it. He turned his head and stared at the coffin.

Hikaru immediately took out the Void Hole, the energy that was inside it was fully charged, and it could explode at any time.

The coffin lid gradually disappeared, and a figure stood up from the coffin.

Hikaru looked closely and saw that it was a Skeleton.

That's right, that Skeleton was wearing a red cape, the same style as the man painted on the wall. However, that man was wearing a white robe, and the Skeleton in front of him was wearing a red cape.

He stood up straight, clasped one hand behind his back, and his other hand was stroking his own head.

After confirming that he had turned into a Skeleton, he let out a sigh. Wait! He didn't have a trachea, so how could he breathe? He thought.

Hikaru frowned, feeling extremely strange.

The Skeleton looked at Hikaru, his eye sockets consisted of two small blue flames that were burning.

He sat cross-legged on the coffin, one hand on his lap, and the other on his chin, and he looked at Hikaru, like a nobleman.

The Skeleton then said, "Are you the one who woke me up?"

That Skeleton's voice was androgynous, so  it was hard to tell if the Skeleton was male or female.

Hikaru immediately shook his head: "No, you are mistaken. The person who woke you up just ran away."

"Hahahaha… human… you are interesting." The Skeleton laughed and said, "The energy that awakened me and the energy you possess are the same. Do you think you can fool me?"

"Ah!" Hikaru frowned: "That energy in this world can be used by anyone, not just me."

The Skeleton shook his head and said, "You don't have to lie. Although I lay in a coffin, I knew all the activities that were happening around me."

"So what did you ask me when you already knew the answer to the question?" Hikaru said, his voice a bit… annoyed.

"Huh! Young man, I'm just teasing you a little and you're already upset?"

"So what?!" Hikaru said while using his skill to assess the Skeleton in front of him.

However, a bulletin board appeared in front of him, startling him.

[Ding! This person's level is too high to be assessed. Because the opponent's level is too high, he can tell you're appraising him.]

"Inspect me? You are indeed very brave. It's been a long time since anyone dared to use the appraisal skill on me."

Hearing the Skeleton speak, Hikaru frowned, the Void Hole spun around its center, and was ready to explode at any time.

This time, Hikaru felt that he didn't need to hold back, and he could allow the Void Hole to explode with all the power he had stored within it.

Anyway, the opponent's level was too high, maybe even higher than Silutop because the opponent could see that Hikaru was assessing him.

Hikaru now had some regrets about coming to this ruins. There was nothing to gain from these relics apart from terrible danger.

"Hm… Don't worry, I intend to endanger you anyway. I just wanted to ask what the world is like right now." The skeleton said.

"The current outside world has been invaded by the fog." Hikaru said that while raising his guard.

"Fog? So that's how it is." After the Skeleton said that, he let out a frustrated sigh. It seemed that the appearance of the fog made him extremely disappointed.

Hikaru then asked, "Who are you? Are you the owner of this place?"

Hearing that, the Skeleton slowly raised his head, looked around and said, "No, I'm not the owner of this place."

That's right, I'm not the owner of this place anymore.

"My name is Narita. And you."

"Hikaru."

"Hikaru? The name is weird."

Hikaru frowned upon hearing that, he felt the urge to smash the Void Hole on Narita's head.

"Hahaha… I was just joking."

"You seem like a lot of fun."

"So… are you not from this world?"

Hikaru thought that Narita had expertise so it was normal for him to know that Hikaru was not from this world.

Hikaru nodded and said, "That's right."

"Ah! Looks like the outside world has changed too much. Are you an adventurer?"

"No, I am a lord."

"Lord? You? Hm…" Even though he had no eyes, the two flames in Narita's eye sockets were like two eyes looking at Hikaru suspiciously, making him feel uncomfortable.

"Are you doubting me?"

Narita shrugs: "No, it's just a little amusing."

"Amusing?"

"Nothing, do you want to make a deal with me?"

"Deal?" Hikaru confusedly asked, "What kind of transaction do you want?"

"You help me get out of this place, and I will help you become the world's top lord, who will rule this world."

Hikaru burst out laughing: "Hahahaha… I don't know how strong you are but what you said is funny."

"Why?" Narita tilted her head and asked.

"You can't even leave this place by yourself, how can you help me become the world's greatest lord?" Hikaru said, "Besides... I don't want to be the greatest lord either."

"Hm… you are weird." Narita said: "This place has a lot of seals, it can let you in but you have to meet a few conditions to be able to get out."

"What if none of the conditions are met?"

"Then you will die in these ruins, and you will become my source of energy." Narita said, he spoke as if it were perfectly normal.

Hikaru started sweating, he felt lucky that the challenges in this place were a bit simple. Otherwise, he was afraid that he would have become a source of life force for Narita.

Hikaru frowned in thought for a long time, then asked, "Although what you say makes me feel very excited, I still can't trust you."

"Then… you can sign a slave contract with me, so I can safely take you out without worrying about you breaking your promise."

" I Can't!"
