Mistaken Soul: Flower and You

Ringo was crawling to some place which he didn't familiar about. Just a while ago he woke up from his nap. He saw his mommy and daddy were sleeping sound. He was trying to wake them up when suddenly he saw something amusing. "Beary!" He shouted with gleaming eyes.

It was like a big chocolate furball from afar. Thus, he followed the moving furball with excitement. He chased the furball with speed and saw his hands and feet were covered by dirt. Ringo stumbled from the low ground and he fell and rolled like a ball into a soft fur. His head was hurt but this cushion saved him from his fall. The cushion was warm and soft. It was like his mommy bosom.

"Grrrr..." a growled was heard from his below.

Ringo noticed the cushion color was chocolate and suddenly moving. Ringo was floating, or not. He was riding a big beast and realized that it was actually that bear he saw a moment ago!

"Beary!!" Ringo shouted grabbing the bear furs like a horse rein. He shouted, "Beary! Goe! Goe!"

"Hmm?" The bear abruptly realized there was a little creature above him. Ringo climbed to his head and attached himself with the beast head. The bear growled and shake his head to let go of the annoying creature. "Groo!" He roared.

"Beary! Goe! Goe!" Ringo was chuckling and hugged the bear much tighter. The bear grunted and he felt annoyed. He stood up from four legs changed to second legs. Ringo noticed his movement and climbed higher to his head.

"..." (Bear)

No matter you look at it, it's a tower.

"Beary!" Ringo was snuggling himself to the bear fur. The bear grunted again and grabbed Ringo's clothes. "Beary! Beary!" Ringo called him while laughing. The bear brought him to his nose and began to sniff him. Ringo looked at the bear black eyes and shouted even more, "Beary! Burak! Burak!"

The bear licked him and Ringo was yucking from his saliva. Ringo shouted angrily to the bear, "Nau! Beary! Nau!"The bear looked at him and sniffed him again.

"Ringo!!!" Tereza shrieked from afar. Han set his gun forward with a couple of his subordinates to assist him. They pointed their gun to the bear.

Tereza face was pale and she almost fainted. From her point of view, she could see that Ringo will be eaten any second if not thanks to her sharp ears. She found him when they searched the place and accidentally heard Ringo's shouted. It would be horrifying if she didn't find her son today!

Han's face was also anxious, he blamed himself for being careless yet again. If Ringo died today, he would kill himself! He signaled his subordinates to wait and slowly approaching the bear. No reckless moment or else Ringo will be eaten at any moment. He needed to save him immediately!

"Dauda! Mauma!" He waved his little hands to his parent. His face was bright with no sign of fearful. The bear turned his head and looked at the human who was trying to kill him. He growled and lifted Ringo higher with his claw. "Ringo!" Tereza scream. Han was counting his hand with his finger to find the right time to shoot.

One...Two...Three...Now!

Bang!

Missed!

"What?" Han said with muddlehead.

"???" (everyone)

He was stupefied, his eyes widened from the outrageous sight. Tereza and the others were all the same as well. They couldn't believe that the bear was docking his body when the bullet dope was being shot! Was it just lucky for the bear?

The bear placed the weird creature in his hand to the ground. He licked his little face and Ringo shouted angrily to him again, "Beary! Nau! Nau!" The bear growled and sniffed him once more.

The bear looked at the human direction and he looked at Tereza's way. His black eyes were staring at Tereza and Han profoundly. She flinched from the bear's gaze. 'What's up with that bear?' She wondered.

The bear grunted and turned his body away from Ringo and the other human. He went inside to the deep forest. Ringo called him from afar, "Beary! Nau Goe! Nau Goe!"

Ringo's eyes become teary and his mouth was wrinkling. He started to cry and called the bear over and over again. Han strode his leg quickly and grabbed his chubby son to his embrace. It was the same as Tereza too. The two of them were sweating from the hot temperature and their overanxious. Tereza kissed his son's cheeks and scold him. Tereza spanked his buttock and Ringo started to cry louder.

"Beary!! Uwaa!! Beary!! Nau Goe!! Nau Goe!!Mama!! Dauda!!" Screamed Ringo with crack voice. Ringo was crying sadly and Han couldn't help to feel sorry for his son. 'It seems he really like the bear' Han thought. If he could, he would make that bear his pet easily, but sadly the bear was an endangered species and he needed to relocate to his original inhabitants.

He didn't know there was still an animal on the island. Because as far as he's concerned. He and Jo Miura were responsible for the safety of the city and the island. He inspected the animals which were living in the area. From his report, there was no such thing an animal bear on this island, yet right now their guessed was wrong.

Han called his subordinates to pursue the bear and told them to bring him to his new inhabitants as soon as possible, yet after a few hours of waiting, Han was troubled by the sudden report.

The bear was gone! There was no trace of him! Even the bear footprints were gone as well! As if there was no bear in the begin with.

Han scratched his head and told his subordinates to keep searching until he told them to stop.

Meanwhile, in their suiteroom, Tereza was coaxing her son to sleep and told him a bedtime story. Ringo's eyes were puffed and red. He was exhausted from crying, but he felt relieved again when he tasted his mother milk.

Han went to her side and sat down on the bed. He said to her with concerned tone, "The bear was gone. We couldn't find him, but we'll keep searching. How is Ringo?"

Tereza scratched her son little face and told Han, "He's alright for now. He's really sad when the bear was gone." Tereza turned her head and set her usual puppy eyes looks. She leaned closer to Han and request something to him. He felt bad omen.

'No...No...Tereza...Please...Don't say it!' He thought.

"Can we buy him a bear?!" Yup, she said it already.

Han explained with irritated feeling, "Tereza, I know he loves the bear, even his baby room filled with a teddy bear. But if we kept spoiling like this, he'll sooner or lat-"

"It just a bear! We are rich, let's buy a bear! We can buy the one who is cute and less threating, how about panda?"

"Tereza, Panda is an endangered species and-"

"Okay. Black bear it is!"

'O, Wife! Please listen to me!' Han complained inwardly.

Did he just hear it right? Did she recommend a black bear? Heck, that was even more dangerous! Tereza what are you thinking?

She said, "Then, the same brown bear just like today."

It was the same!

She continued with her sparkling eyes as if a lot of ideas came to her head, "Ah, yes, later hire a bear trainer too. Let's move the bear in our estate. If I'm not wrong there was your private forest property near it, right? It was beside my garden. Let just put the bear there. Ah! Buy the bear cub! Why I didn't think of that? It will be easy to raise him later in the future. Ah, also it must be a couple! Male and female! So they could birth another cub in the future."

'What are you? Bear producer? You want them to breed already? And for f*ck sake are we really going to live with the bears?!'

He realized that starting from today he would get a bear fever. Sighing, he reminded his son sad face. He couldn't help soften his heart. After a couple minutes struggling internaly, with a helpless expression, he gave up and said, "I'll buy a panda. At least they will not hurt our son."

"Okay!" Tereza looked down to her son. She saw his blue eyes were sparkling with light.She chuckled, "Heard that Ringo? Your daddy will buy you a new bear. It's a panda! Mommy wants to have panda too hihi! Although black bear or brown bear is good though." Ringo definitely heard his daddy. So he didn't feel dejected again and fell asleep with no worries in the crib.

He finally got a bear!

Han shook his head to his own family. "Why did I have this kind of family?" He muttered. Tereza heard him and said, "Huh? What were you saying?"

He shook his head and peck her lips, "Nothing. Let's go to sleep."

"Un." Tereza nodded and hugged Han's firm body. Snuggled and slept until the morning light came to their room.

Stevan's apartment, living room.

The living room was dark and only a TV light which was turned on. A certain man sitting on his couch while drinking his tequila. He watched his usual favorite Chibi Maruko-chan shows. This episode was when Maruko-chan was playing on the beach with her classmates. Stevan rewinded the scene over and over again until he felt satisfied.

His clothes were disheveled and his eyes were red from watching the show six hours straight. He finished his drink and then lift the glass towards the ceiling.

Without looking the glass he threw towards the TV direction and it smashed the layer screen!

Crash!

The room was darkened.

Ping!

A message came to his smartphone. He looked at the messages which told him, to come to their underground base.

Ping!

Another message came and told him, the time is coming soon.

He turned off his phone, light his cigarette as he began to smoke. He stayed there in the living room until he finished it.
