"Tanya, you really did not have to do that…" 

Back in the carriage, the girls were returning home after Tanya virtually crushed Robert in front of the crowd. They were mostly in high spirits after witnessing the show but Diana still felt a slight bit of remorse. Robert was still her brother after all; how could she bear to meet him again after today? Nevertheless, she was indeed thankful for Tanya. For a brief moment, she felt like a princess.

"'Have to' might not be the case, however, I wanted to." Tanya smugly responded, sitting comfortably in between Penelope and Rose.

Rose smiled wryly, knowing that Tanya would not take it anymore seriously than that. She admired Tanya for her playfulness, nevertheless, Diana wished that Tanya could be more serious with her at that moment. 

"He was literally pissing his own pants during the ceremony… I don't believe that he will be respected after this…" 

"And? He is weak. He does not deserve to be a duke. Let people think lowly of him, for he hasn't experienced anything yet." Tanya deviously grinned as she answered, waving her index towards her foot. She did not view Robert as an opponent, only someone that bullied her cute little lover.

"You should have made him a eunuch." Serena scoffed.

"..."

"That is a tad too far don't you think?" Yuna interjected.

'These girls are quite the sadists. Not like I care too much… that punk got what he deserved for bullying my sweet Diana.'

Tanya couldn't help but feel calm. What good would stress do? She had only offended a weakling of a man. He has no face and has no respect. This was a laughing matter.

When others would call this arrogant and careless, Tanya would call this child's play. This is because it was. Tanya knew how to calculate risks and she knew that she would not suffer anything from Robert. She had dealt with enough spineless bullies during his tenure in the army as Tane. Now she can be the big bad wolf that looms over the other predators.

In the theatre of noble society, she will become the apex predator.

After taking the same amount of time it took to travel to the party, the group arrived back at Tanya's territory. But the time they had stepped back onto the cold stone bricks at the front of the mansion, it had become night.

The white moonlight fell on the girls as they quickly proceeded back to the front door and were greeted by the ever so loyal guards.

Tanya was quite thankful to herself for choosing homunculi for her powerbase at this point. There were just so many advantages and she could expect the best.

And then the doors opened.

The girls cleaned up and got ready for bed after entering.

"Diana, you see?! Tanya can fix any problem. There is nothing she can't do and no one she can't beat. She makes me swoon with just the flick of her hair~" 

"Yuri, I understand. I really do, it's just I want to be able to solve my own problems. It's not good to be too dependent." Diana pouted.

"Hmmph! Tanya can depend on me as much as I depend on her. That's what makes this a relationship, Diana." 

"Well I'm not really in a 'relationship' like yours…" Diana wanted to bring up marriage, but she didn't want to say the word out loud. It was far too embarrassing for her to mention marriage when it took her so long just to admit she was attracted to Tanya. Something like this, she would leave until she knows she is ready.

"Then make it a relationship like mine. It's more embarrassing when someone drools at the food when compared to them eating the food."

This made Diana think for a moment.

'What if I ask Tanya about…'

SPLASH

"!!!" 

Suddenly, Tanya jumped in right on top of the two.

"You two really like to hang out alone~ is there something I shouldn't be hearing~?" Tanya dipped her head in and out of the hot water, flipping her hair back until they could see her forehead.

Diana immediately blushed. She was bathing naked with Yuri but she didn't want Tanya to see.

"Mmm? Why are you so embarrassed? You've seen me naked before so why can't I see you naked? Are you worried I will bite~?" 

"Tanya… this is improper." Diana went back to a more dignified disposition. She did not want to appear too weak in front of Tanya. This was the least she could do for her own respectability.

"Bathrooms are separated based on sex. We are of the same sex. Yuri and I also have sex. Based on sex, I say your argument is invalid." Tanya slyly responded, leaning her chest onto Diana and going in for a warm hug.

"You~!" Diana did not refute. She then quietly accepted the warmth and embraced Tanya too.

"Sometimes you just need a hug. I understand you know? You don't feel comfortable with your family so you don't want to feel too comfortable with others. You're not used to people caring about you. I understand, but you should open up." Tanya gently kissed Diana on the forehead and rubbed her cheek against Diana's.

"I guess you're right…" Diana said, taking a brief gaze towards Yuri for her opinion.

'Go for it.' Yuri nodded.

'Diana is such a hard nut to crack. But she's so cute~" Tanya enjoyed every moment.

"Yuri, come over here~"

The trio snuggled together for a while, just like a family of wild animals.

After the water finally lost it's relaxing heat, they left and made their way back to the bedroom. It was packed with the others, waiting.

"Geez, you were taking so long in there. Were you guys doing-" Erina was interrupted.

"Ahem!" Diana blushed slightly and went straight for the bed, landing face first on the sheets.

"Just some wholesome time. You didn���t miss out on supper…" Tanya sighed.

"I think wholesomeness is something I want to have a bite out of too~ you should have invited us too…" Rose faked a whimper, chuckling slightly.

"Anyways… I heard that a war will be happening soon. Apparently a nation to the north has gained the disfavour of the holy faction…"
