Masked Girl and Her Prince

Lily huffed as she glared at her two sons. One who had the exact personality of hers and the other who was like his father.

Julie and James couldn't help but shake their heads in unison. They couldn't help but wonder whether Usui would bring a girl back home or not.

James looked at Usui and sighed, 'Why did he have to be like me? My wife is sure going to have a headache dealing with our children.'

Right when Lily stopped to catch her breath, Zelal ran over to hide behind his brother and used him as a shield. Lily's eyes flared on seeing his youngest son's antics. She tried running around Usui but Zelal kept moving around all the while making use of his human shield.

Finally, Lily couldn't run anymore so she exasperatedly roared, "Stop hiding behind your brother"

Zelal popped his head up on Usui's shoulder as he asked, " Would you stop hitting me then?"

Lily exhaled heavily as she said, "I will."

"Then no" and hid behind Usui again. 'Ha! Did you think I will fall for your trick twice!'

"You ungrateful-"

Suddenly she stopped as she coughed heavily. Immediately their father rushed towards his wife and rubbed her back. He glared at his son angrily which made Zelal plaster himself onto his brother.

He whispered desperately, " Brother please just help me out here. I don't want to be sent to a brothel. Look at them, they are undoubtedly thinking of selling me."

Usui rubbed the space between his eyebrows tiredly, " Mother, Why are you behaving like this?"

Lily puffed up her cheeks as she responded, "What do you know.... she was a beautiful loving girl. My grandchildren would have been so adorable and pretty." Then she tutted as she said, " Tsk... now you made me lose such a beautiful daughter-in-law, Who is going to give me my adorable grandchildren?"

James corrected her, "Our's dear."

Lily glared at her husband who turned mute instantly and turned to Usui miserably, "Now that I lost my grandchildren. How do you plan on compensating me?"

"Well I indeed rejected the princess but I never said that you will not get your grandchildren."

The three people widened their eyes in shock as they gaped at the Crown Prince. Suddenly Lily jerked her husband's hand away and reached out to catch Zelal by his ear and pulled him out. 

She asked seriously as she twisted his ear, " Tell me, What happened to your brother? Are you sure this is my son? Did someone knock his head during the battle?"

Zelal rolled his eyes at his mother's questions. He knew this would happen so he said softly, " Ha!! Don't worry... I was like that in the beginning too."

Usui exhaled as he uttered, " Forget it... I have already found a person so just stop thinking of setting me up in blind dates."

Zelal's lips twitched as he watched his mother's excitement. The only Queen in history to be okay with having a commoner as her daughter-in-law. But a helpless smile soon grazed his face as he thought, 'The main reason why she is being loved by the people.'

A smile formed on Usui's face as he remembered his woman, stunning everyone, " I will bring her to you soon. At that time, you will meet her and you can ask her directly."

Lily pouted her lips disappointedly but Usui returned to his cold self and left. Before Zelal could follow him, Julie grabbed his collar and spoke, "Come on, spill it." 

Zelal's face paled as he watched three pairs of curious eyes staring at him, so he pleaded, "Aunt, please let me go. You know how my brother is going to punish me. So, please don't make it hard for me."

"Come on... just a teeny tiny detail wouldn't hurt anyone." 

Zelal remembered his brother's warning right before they entered the room. So he raised his hands as he shook his head vehemently.

Zelal gulped as he looked at his family and remembered the second piece of advice. So, He hurriedly said, " Mother, I found a girl that I want to marry too."

James stared at his son as he thought, ' Was that place full of interesting women that both my sons got their respective partners? Should he try sending out his other two sons?'

Lily narrowed her eyes as she asked, "Who is it?"

Zelal blushed as he said, "Well, she's a general in the Crystal Kingdom."

"Oh.. that's nice... I knew my son would only fall for a woman who can break your bones. So where is she?" 

Lily turned to look behind him and found no one. She raised her eyebrows at him when she noticed his embarrassed countenance.

Zelal laughed awkwardly, " She's not here. I didn't get the time to confess before I left. So, she still doesn't know about me."

Lily's lips twitched hard as she glared at her son, "Are you useless that you didn't even have the guts to confess? How daring of you to announce that you want to marry her when you haven't confessed yet."

'Mother.. confession takes a lot more time and it is more difficult than fighting a battle.'

Looking at his sorry face, Lily told him to scram, " Scram... don't come back here until you bring her to me."

Zelal rejoiced in his heart as he escaped, quickly before his mother changed her mind.

"Well looks like, at least they have taken the first step."

Lily nodded happily as she jumped towards her husband and said coyly, "Looks like our eldest son inherited both of our personalities."

James smiled dotingly at her and nodded while he wrapped his arm around her waist and hugging her happily.

Julie rolled her eyes at the couple's dogfood, 'Need to find a husband, urgently.'

Back in Usui's room,

Usui entered his bedroom and walked directly towards his bed while removing his clothes. Half-naked he flopped down on his bed and stared at the ceiling thinking about the events which happened for the past few days.

He thought about the events and wondered about Freya's situation. Even though he said he would wait, he couldn't help but be impatient. He wished he perceived her before. 

He kept reexamining the morning events and wondered what made her lose her cool easily. He even noticed their family's weird reaction towards the name 'Black Shadow'

It disturbed him knowing that there was something which would make her vulnerable. He could feel her sorrow which was buried deep inside her heart, her hatred towards the people who caused her grief and pain. 

He understood that it was someone very important to her. He just hoped it wasn't her lover. But from the looks of it, it did look like someone she loved deeply. 'Damn it... That can be the reason why she said she won't love me.'

His eyes narrowed as he gritted his teeth at his sudden assumption. He closed his eyes as he thought of her smile and his countenance gradually softened. He smiled as he remembered her shock when he stole her kiss.

He chuckled softly, ' She's so adorable.'

He sighed deeply thinking when he would get to meet her again. He figured it would take a while as he had to attend his academy, and she has to attend hers....

He stopped there as his eyes widened, he straightened up as he grabbed a coat and hurried towards his father's office.
