Maou Reijou no Kyouiku Gakari

Episode 25: Emergency

"I... lead those kids...?

There is an unexpected whisper against the unimaginable words that have come out once again.

"Yes, I suppose you naturally know that there is a unit once called" The Brave One Line ". Now we're going to mimic it around you, and we're going to hit it out of here."

"A line of brave men..."

The name sounds so familiar that I don't like it.

It once existed, a common name for a small unit formed to gather the highest talent around the country for the purpose of going to the demonic world, gathering information and decreasing enemy power, destroying key bases, and crusading demon kings.

The official name is the First Independent guerrilla unit under the direct authority of the King, but its common name is now far more recognizable.

The history of its common name has been used for political propaganda by overlapping it with the hero Tan of the past, but there is no doubt that it is treated as a hero itself in today's mankind.

And not only that, but for me, it's the unit my father once belonged to, and at the same time, the ones to be avenged.

"That's all you wanted to know about me. And the weapons I have prepared for you to defeat them."

Rose said that in a somewhat more feverish tone than usual, staring at my face.

The hand that was attached to my hand has been removed at some point and is back in position.

It's as if, this time, I want my own hands back.

"I know what you're talking about. But that... do those kids know? That we are gathered for it."

"No, I don't know them yet"

"Why not? Those kids are a party, too."

"Because I've determined that the information is impure for you and them to foster trust."

If I did know about it, I might not have been able to build a relationship like this with them.

"Impurities... what if you were lying down to take advantage of them?

"I don't think I can help it if they take it that way....... but I will naturally ask them to make their final decision on whether to be your sword and fight. And that's why we needed a genuine relationship of trust."

"Trust...... Assuming I get that story, do you think those kids will accept it?

"... I don't know that. But I know that you didn't just do it for a purpose, but as an educator you stood up to them, guided them, and raised them to this day. I do think there was a real relationship of trust there."

I said that in a strong emotional voice somewhere, even though Rosé shouldn't be the same as usual.

Sure, me and those kids may have built a pretty strong relationship of trust, albeit not for that long yet.

Except when it comes to risking your life.

Especially if we integrate what we've just heard, it means that they're not actively trying to destroy the Demons, even though they're under substantial control, but they're just using it conveniently for themselves.

From those kids, then, of course, the idea would arise that they would not take the option of maintaining the status quo and possibly having to go and throw their lives away.

I'm in a decidedly different position with those kids with an irrepressible sense of vengeance.

"In the meantime......, let me think for a second. Honestly, the story is too big to keep up with my head at all..."

As a result of various thoughts, I decided to propose that to Rosé now.

As the word goes, the truth is that not half of what has happened in this short time has yet been accepted.

The story that the world, including the Demons, is virtually ruled by those people, as well as the story that Nal was alive and Rosé. And now they're asking me about my plan to lead those kids down.

Sometimes my brain completely exceeds my tolerance because I was told more than one incredible story at the same time, but above all, I don't get any real feeling at all because it doesn't involve a real experience.

The only thing I can believe in that is that my vengeance to keep fighting, even if I'm alone, hasn't diminished yet.

"Yes, I'm not asking you to give me an answer right away. But… it is also true that not much time is left, so please make your decision as soon as possible"

"No time left...? It's..."

When I kept trying to figure out what this was all about...

Suddenly, the wooden door at the entrance to the interview room opened with such momentum that it was likely to break.

"Let it go, Doctor! Oh, my God! Yes, Sun! Sun!

And from there a fiere jumped in with a desperate shape that I had never seen before.

"... Feer? What's wrong, something happened to Sun!?

Seeing Fia's impatience as she blue-whited her face as she roughed her breath, I have a bad feeling about it.

"Um... Um... I was talking to Sun on a telecom... and then all of a sudden... he said he'd help... say... alone..."

"Help? What do you mean? Feea, calm down and talk to me. What happened to Sun?

"If I... if I had stopped right then... then..."

Fia holds her head, and now she starts saying words that blame herself.

I don't know what happened, but I'm totally panicked.

"Hey, Feer. Calm down, what happened? Hold on tight."

Put your hand on that back and try to calm it down somehow.

But I'm just watching how that's not normal, and now I'm being attacked by strong, pressured emotions up to me.

Frey, it's an emergency.

I'm late from Feer, and now Anna comes in while she says so.

"Anna, what happened to Sun?

Calming Feer down, now ask Anna.

Anna looks calmer at first sight, but I can clearly see a strong impatience floating around her face, even if it's not as fierce as Fia's.

"... there's a good chance Sun got caught by a bunch of humans"

Anna clearly said that after a few words were jammed.

"Caught!? Why not!? What happened!?

"I don't know the details... but from what I've been hearing, I think I've been trying to help a single, caught buddy."

"Alone... he..."

I would like to say why I did such an unscrupulous thing, but not if I am saying it in a place where I am not in person.

Now we need to check the situation and move to help out as soon as possible before the worst happens.

"Sorry... I couldn't stop thinking about Sun..."

"Fia, it's not your fault. Plus, if you want to help Sun, hold on. I'm going to need your help to do that."

Tell that to Fia, who is still blaming herself.

We don't even know the enemy's power to capture Sun yet. I definitely need this kid's unusual strategic perspective to work out how to help out.

"Anna, can you use that to have a conversation with Sun?

"No, you're fainting or nothing..."

"Right...... Then get ready to go to Mr. Shi right away."

As things stand, we don't have enough information, but at least it should be near my parents' house.

Then you'll know what it is if you go there.

"Got it. I'll explain the situation to Isna and Fem and call them in."

"Oh, I asked for it"

Anna leaves the room.

It is very helpful that even in my sister's crisis she responds calmly in this way.

"Rose, we'll talk later. As I was asking, I'm on my way to Sun's rescue. You tell me what you're talking about up there."

"Yes, I'm in awe"

"Fia, let's go. It's okay... we'll help him."

"Yes..."

He walks out of the room in such a way that he pulls half the fier still bluishing his face.

"Dear Frey, please... be careful. And -"

"Oh, I know..."

With Rosé's words on his back, he closes the door with his back hand and rushes out the long hallway.

The incredible information packed in a short amount of time once pushed back into the corner of my memory, I now decided to just think about helping Sun.

But in it, the last word Rosé uttered slightly before he left the room remained strong in his ear.

"And come and see with your own eyes the truth surrounding the world today"
