Maou Reijou no Kyouiku Gakari

Lesson 2: Masterminds

Walk down the corridor of the College in a sensation of hopelessness.

You can't be fired. I still have a mountain left to do.

You represent my mood like that, colored by a bunch of fancy ornaments that I don't think are very good at school, and that lavish hallway, which usually looks radiant, also looks oddly dull now.

I thought I'd stop by the faculty room to collect my personal belongings, but I don't even want to face the guys who unanimously agreed to fire me.

I don't have any big things left anyway, and it would be cleaner to have them thrown away.

There are two guards directly behind me, either to monitor me so I don't get weird.

Until yesterday, I was a teacher, and now I treat it like a criminal reserve.

No, maybe he's really been treated as a criminal inside just because he didn't publicly case it.

In disillusionment, walking outside the college again, I get to one answer I've never managed to think about.

Hasn't someone set it up?

No matter how much I think about it, I don't remember doing anything. I just have to conclude that.

There are as many people in this college controlled by nobility as I think I am blind to being a civilian.

As you can see from the unanimous decision to deport me, even the guys who were only superficially good with each other don't know what they were thinking back now.

But it doesn't benefit me to think about it any more.

If I grab some kind of evidence and stick it out to the board, it won't overshadow this decision.

As I go down the hallway shaking off my unpleasant thoughts, I feel signs of people in the shadow of a poke.

One, no, two. Those signs are looking at me without trying to hide their existence.

And closer together, the identity of those two shadows soon became apparent.

"Arius......"

Of the two, one is a colleague. No, it was my former colleague, Arius Ford.

In this college, I am from such a famous family that I am opposed to the pole, and I am a loathsome man who puts it all over my nose.

"Whoo-hoo... Frey? I heard what you said. I said I respected you for stacking your efforts and getting up to this position while you were a civilian... I can't believe I got my hands on my students... I'm so sorry."

While scratching up that golden hair with a quiza-like act that is no different than usual, he mouths words that will no doubt be fine dust or in his heart.

"Doctor. I'm scared... I can't believe Dr. Frey was the one who did that."

It was Maia, one of my former godchildren, who said that.

Also from a famous family, the female student, who always had a nasty attitude towards me as a civilian, leans over to Arius deliberately shaking her body.

And you're looking at me like you're looking at a criminal.

But I didn't miss the fact that the words were slightly distorted so that my mouth mocked (bruised) on my back as I twisted my long purple hair with my fingertips.

"It's okay, don't worry about it. As long as I'm around, I won't let you touch a finger."

"What are you guys doing at this hour of the holidays...?

Holidays, that's also clearly unnatural for teachers to have students inside the college anyway at this time of the day.

Doubt creeps up in two ways.

"The outsider has nothing to do with you anymore. If you know what I mean, just disappear."

"That's right. Heh, Yi, Mi, Mm."

Next to Arius, who does what he does to kick him out softly, Maia mocks at him as he leans against Arius in an almost hugging fashion.

"I see, you guys..."

The suspicion turned to almost certainty.

So far so obvious, through anger. There is even lucidity.

These guys don't seem to be willing to hide what I've said, either, because they understand that judgment never overrides it.

It's no coincidence or anything we met in a place like this.

It would mean I was waiting here to see my fallen figure and raise a substantial winning name.

"Oh, scary scary scary"

"Shh, shh, shh. I'm awesome."

Maia hugs Arius harder as she says so in a deliberate tone.

"I will not allow you to imitate my adorable students."

"Come on, do it."

It's a salmon play that's going to throw up.

These guys smell more of an inappropriate relationship.

"... Pfft, hahahaha!

But when I see Arius standing forward to protect Maia in white, I unwittingly blow it out.

"Hey, what's wrong!?

You're confused that I suddenly laughed, and that's what Arius eats while he's a wolf.

"No... I was wondering if I could protect you. I was wondering if we could just expose ourselves in front of the" cute students "like before."

It makes me laugh even more when I think of that time.

"Ki, you...... Are you going to fool me at the civilian minute? You were just a little out of shape then."

He stares at me with a look of remorse as Arius bites his lower lip so hard that his blood is about to seep.

Apparently, that event was also a memorable one for this guy.

That was definitely when me and this guy had a mock fight as an example before the students went into practical training.

This guy came to take me down for real about what he thought he was going to demonstrate out of each other's hands so the students would understand.

At the time, I was just confused, but now I know very well that I must have been neglected because I was in the same position, not even in civilian ascent.

However, they had the same position, but had not noticed that there was a significant difference in their strength.

I was serious about this guy who was coming at me, and I couldn't help myself. As a result, this guy was beaten without skin in front of the students, and he was exposed to something as if he were a frog that had been hit by a carriage.

To see this reaction, maybe the result of keeping dragging that one up to now is this situation right now.

"I see...... You mean I should have lost then."

If I had, maybe this wouldn't have happened right now.

No, given the small size of the man in front of you, did any of them turn out the same?

Besides, I wish I had done more then what's happening now as a reality. It's a lame story.

"Ha! Until today! You are now turning back to being just a civilian! The last thing I won was this me!

I proclaim that as I tremble my voice without even trying to hide what I set up at the earliest.

"Oh yeah......"

I regret all this, but you're right.

The stuff I've piled up so far collapsed lightly by these guys' schemes.

Even if I had moved in anticipation of that, the result would not have changed, there is so much difference in power between the great nobles and the civilian population in this country.

"If you understand, just get out of here! This isn't a good place to have a fucking born like you!

Arius still says so in a trembling voice, waving his hands up loud and then pointing in the direction of the exit.

"Yeah, well, if you wander around with a poor smell like you, you'll even be suspicious of our character. In the first place, it's a mistake to have a civilian in this college."

"Exactly! Now get out! You loser!

When he glances hard at Arius for saying so, he freaks his body out.

I hear the difference in strength I carved in then is still stained on me.

But where I beat this guy down here, it just clears my mood, and if it's even a prison send, this time it'll be a real stuffing (...) mi (...) that I'll never be able to recover from.

"Oh, let me do that. Bye."

That being said, again, slowly walk towards the exit.

Arius and Maia, ridiculed like two proud winners on their backs, walked out the front gate to the college where they would never welcome me again.
