He walked with a strange confidence to the front of the group, silencing any all of the shouts that were previously stirring the winds.

The heat rose from deep within his core, a boiling, seething fire erupted from within with no need for an ignition. It was so hot that Donis's chest started glowing and his ribs and lungs were able to be seen.

As the sea of red approached the group, Donis unleashed the most powerful rage-fueled, white-hot [Dragonfury I] he has ever tried. The heat blast emanating from the beam was powerful enough to knock down the tables around Donis, and to push the hair away from the faces of the ones behind him.

The air was superheated so quickly that the sound it emitted was like hearing a jet engine rip through the atmosphere. Striga noticed the heatwave was so powerful it threatened the group too, since the slaves behind even her were weak.

She cast a large [Water Prison] pillar and surrounded the weakened people, shielding them from the overbearing heat Donis was lashing out.

The [Dragonfury I] hit the unidentifiable spell with a great force, thought the sea of red flames didn't recede, but coiled around Donis's beam.

[Dragonfury I] screamed and screeched, trying its best to rip through the incorporeal flame body, but the only thing that happened was Donis's beam was devoured.

The master didn't move an inch as this was taking place, though his posture was weakening by the moment. Eventually the master had to take a knee just as Donis's beam ended. He was panting, and sweat dripped off of his brow.

"How? How coul-could you use something so powerful?" stuttered the master.

Donis didn't waste a moment and flashed forward moving at his highest speed. He cast [Immolate I] on the master himself and saw his clothing set ablaze.

The master screamed for a split second, right before the runes appeared once more in the air and the red flames surrounded the masters body, devouring the [Immolate I] that had taken root.

"What the fuck are you? What the fuck are these flames? GAH," screamed the master towards Donis as he threw down his fist into the ground, sending cracks in every direction away from him. A shockwave filled with the dark red flames and runic words sped towards the group, targeting Donis head on.

Cypher stepped in quickly kicking at the floor with her right foot, sending a bright blue energy wave along with the kick directly into the ground. The wave turned into a spiralling pillar of ice that rotated and took the rock with it, redirecting the shockwave upwards.

Everyone looked up to see what was above them, but all they saw was a dark and deep void. Looking back down the master had already fled the scene, and not even Donis could follow his presence using [Void Sense].

Cursing out loud, Donis vented his fury by punching the ground, and the entire space shook.

"Uh, I didn't do that?" stated and asked Donis at the same time.

"No it wasn't you kid, the whole place is collapsing!" screamed Striga!

"Everyone, quick, get the people out of here through the exit we found! NOW!"

Everyone only took a quick second to realise what was just issued before they all kicked into gear and began rushing as quickly as their legs would let them.

Donis found Gark laying somewhere unconscious, and unable to fend for himself. He took out Etheria and placed Gark on top of her, he then went and picked up some of the other unconscious kids. The two were able to carry all 6 of the unconscious kids and made their way to the forefront of the escape plan.

The world around them wasn't going to wait for them before it collapsed, and from the look on Strigas face, it wasn't something he was likely to survive if they hung around.

The ceiling was crashing down, the walls were crumbling and the entire space was trembling as if large explosions were going off. The walls that would collapse would bring an end to the space there, the black void consuming and crushing whatever was there prior.

It was both an incredible and a horrific sight to behold. Yet none had the time to marvel at such a morbid beauty.

The side exit was located in a small room at the very back of the hallways, in an inconspicuous room. It looked like any other door, but when opened it was just pitch black. The conscious and tired prisoners were pushed through first, then the kids, then Donis and his unconscious kids, and finally the rest of the crew.

And not a moment too soon. The moment John jumped through the door, the dimensional portal closed on his foot, cutting it off at the heel. He fell down hard and howled into the fresh air around them.

While John was howling from pain, the rest of the imprisoned were bawling from happiness.

Donis, as the resident healer, walked over to John and tried his best to help the whinging ball of muscles. Casting [Perfect Immune System] to find out the exact problems with John, and then [Healing Touch] to fix everything to better than it was before, Donis healed him.

John now realising the usefulness of Donis, thanked him with wet eyes. He attempted to pay Donis for his services, but Donis just barely waved him off and laid back down himself, finally able to catch his own breath.

They were out, he was safe, he was allowed to breathe and calm down.

He was terrified. That red fire was nothing like what he had seen before. It wasn't phased by any of the spells the entire crew were able to dish out, nor did it even budge when Donis threw his insanely overpowered spells into it.

He knew he'd have explaining to do, but he didn't care right now. Everyone was safe, everything worked out, and he still had his life.

"Striga, thank you for saving us! Yo-you've helped us so tremendously, how could we ever possibly repay you in kind?" asked one of the new people with them.

He was one of the few men amongst the group, and he was peerlessly handsome. 1.85m tall, dark chestnut hair that draped over his shoulders ever so slightly. Bright blue eyes, with a strong jawline, a sharp, but powerful nose and high cheekbones. Even through the grime and muck his smile shined through.

If not for being entirely straight, even Donis might have been swayed by the mans looks. Though Striga was uncaring of his looks, much to the young mans surprise. She waved him off and addressed the group as a whole.

"We saved you, but we don't know who the real culprits are. I cannot ask you to not say anything to the authorities, nor can I make you stay with us. I just ask you all to give us some time to figure out who we can trust so we can then turn everything over. I am afraid this goes above all of us. If you all want to stay with us, we will make it happen, you just need to let us know."

Not a single person amongst them refused the offer, and quickly the crowd fell back into a reverent applause.

After rounding up the crowd, Striga issued commands for Cypher and Rona to head out into the neighbouring towns to purchase some sort of items to help clothe, feed, house and take care of the extra 68 bodies they were now in charge of.

Striga walked over behind Donis who was sitting beside Gark and Etheria. She smiled at the scene, and Donis looked up, trying to make eye contact with Striga.

A fist smashed hard into his head, sending his face deep into the ground with a resounding thud that displaced a lot of dirt.
