"Why beat around the bush when you can get through straight?" Li Chang said with a shrug and walked out of the room.

James simply nodded and left the room, not being able to bear this conversation anymore.

On his way out he passed by Lu Chao and stopped a moment.

"Your dear friend is targeting our little sister, beware!" James said calmly and continued towards the staircase and descending without waiting for the latter's reaction.

"W-What?" Lu Chao who was shell-shocked from what James said regained his senses a moment after James left, still in disbelief and shock.

"My dear friend?" Lu Chao repeated again, and just then Li Chang came out of James's room, clearly having heard what James said for which he was mentally cursing that guy.

"Chang...You are my dear friend right?" Lu Chao asked uncertainly, still trying to process what James said.

"No, I'm your good brother." Li Chang said calmly, without any hint of nervousness in his voice.

"Right." Lu Chao nodded and agreed, as he nodded his head, which made Li Chang wonder if his friend was stunned silly by what James said that he actually bought what Li Chang said so easily.

"I'll go and check on Xiao Mei then." Li Chang said for which Lu Chao nodded absentmindedly, making the former pity his best friend and mentally sigh in relief at the same time.

Li Chang quickly went upstairs to Li Mei's room whereas Lu Chao, frowned slightly, his expression extremely vivid, when he realized he was tricked, either by James or by Li Chang.

What mattered was he was tricked!

After lunch, everyone except for the great-grandparents and grandparents of the kids was ready to go on the road trip.

"The distance is long and the travel is half-a-day long, so I arranged for a bus as it would be more comfortable and everyone can travel together." De Xi said calmly, as she noticed her friends and siblings sizing up the bus hesitantly.

"Then... Let's get going." George said as he quickly led the kids to board the bus, helping the little ones up and letting them choose the seat of their choice.

After the kids were settled the ladies went up, while the men made sure all the luggage was in and then following the ladies inside the bus.

When De Xi made sure everyone was settled down, she motioned the driver to drive and their road trip to Germany was on.

Fourteen and a half-hour later...

The group finally reached the hotel in Berlin, Germany where they were staying for the next week.

The kids were already asleep and so were some of the ladies and men.

When the bus came to halt, De Xi sighed, reluctant to wake the sleeping ones, as she knew how precious a peaceful sleep was.

"You have a choice. Either pick up your wives and wake up your kids or..."

Even before Fang Gang could complete what he was going to say, he saw that Mu Cong, Mu Chang, Li Chen, Li Yuchen, and De Xing already picked up their wives who were seated beside them and walked out of the bus, to make way for others.

Mu Feng walked to his daughter, Mu Yue and picked her up as Lu Meng was already awake thanks to her keen senses developed after being in the special forces before her retirement due to injury.

Even Li Mei and Nova were awoken when Fang Gang started speaking.

Feng Chuan and Lu Feng were the ones who were in a dilemma, they could not choose between their lovely daughters and wives.

"Carry your wives. We will carry the girls." De Xi said with a soft sigh.

As she walked and picked up Feng Fei who was beside Natalia, deliberately giving Lu Bai the chance to pick up Natalia and Lu Shuan was picked up by Lu Meng.

"Wake up the boys." Lu Meng whispered softly to Fang Gang and went out of the bus, followed by others one by one.

'Who asked you all to be born as boys.' the latter looked at the boys and sighed in pity.

James, Lu Chao, and Li Chang were the first ones to wake followed by the others.

Seeing that the bus was almost empty, they looked at Fang Gang in confusion and questioning.

"Everyone went ahead first because you all were sleeping like a log and did not wake up no matter how hard we called out. Now let's get off and go to our rooms to sleep." Fang Gang said with a warm smile, as he hurried the boys off the first.

When they entered the hotel lobby, everyone was still there.

Appalled by the discrimination done against them, they looked at Fang Gang angrily for lying through his teeth.

"Don't give me that look. You are bound to be treated this way after being born a boy, I went through this treatment in my younger days as well, so never mind." Fang Gang said self-righteously as he tried to comfort the boys a bit.

"Don't compare us, we are not the same." Lu Chao said calmly, but disdain was clear in his eyes.

"Yah!" Fang Gang was immediately annoyed shouted a bit loudly, which seemed extra loud in the serene hotel lobby.

His shout woke up all the sleeping beauties, except the little girls, still peaceful nestled in a comfortable embrace, earning a glare from all the men, carrying either their wife or daughter.
