Kleine then looked at the other people behind her two men, only three of them were fully conscious but were badly battered.

She sighed in disappointment and looked at the shivering chicken at her feet in disdain.

She snapped her fingers and the next moment Stanley and his men were all shot, right in the center of their foreheads.

"Bring them back," Kleine instructed the man behind her calmly and then walked out before fleetingly looking at the group of battered people.

"Yes, Kleine" the men behind her agreed and immediately got to work.

The group along with Kleine and her men traveled through the thick forest of Liechtenstein, in their Land Rovers and Jeeps.

They emerged out of the forest to see a large estate of rare flowers, further opening into a gigantic white mansion.

After passing through a series of security checks, the group was brought inside the mansion.

As Lu Bai, Li Chen, and Mu Cong were the only conscious ones, others were carried upstairs by the men who brought them, with the trio following behind them closely.

"Don't worry, we won't harm you guys unless you try to mess with us." the man who was tied with them spoke with a smile, making him look like a ruffian.

"Can you please arrange for a doctor? My friends are quite injured and I'm afraid they might be drugged as well." Li Chen asked in a hesitant and uncertain tone.

"Don't worry the doctor is already here and checking on your friends. By the way, I am Ronald." the man said casually as he introduced himself.

"I am Li Chen, they are Lu Bai and Mu Cong." Li Chen introduced the trio with a grateful smile.

"Come I'll show you your rooms," Ronald said as they quickly ascended the stairs.

After resting and recuperating for whole two days Lu Bai, Li Chen and Mu Cong had regained their original condition except for the wounds and cuts.

Whereas others were still a little weak and giddy because of the after-effects of the drug.

Inside the shared room of Lu Bai, Li Chen, Mu Cong, and Su Yang, they were seated on the small dining table eating their breakfast.

"We still need to deal with our work here, but since the past two days we are here with no way to communicate with the outside world." Mu Cong sighed with a frown.

"Even I'm starting to doubt if they rescued us back or imprisoned us." Li Chen said heavily in a solemn tone.

"I think we should try asking help from that guy who stops by our room every day, aren't you guys close to that guy?" Su Yang asked seriously as he munched on his toast.

"When I think you can't be any dumber, you always prove me wrong." Mu Cong said in annoyance and disdain.

"I gave such a great idea, you are just too dumb to understand it, ain't I right Bai?" Su Yang tried to pull Lu Bai in for support, but just then he felt a sneeze rising in his throat.

"Don't Sneeze! Your brain is so small, it might slip out." Lu Bai said this calmly, stood up, and left the room, leaving a baffled Su Yang and snickering Mu Cong.

"You both know just the right way to trigger his annoyance." Li Chen said helplessly as he stood up and followed Lu Bai out.

When the duo left their room, they bumped into the doctor who treated them for the last two days.

"Doctor Steve, a minute please." Lu Bai called out for the doctor who smiled at them amiably and walked towards them from the other side of the floor.

Doctor Steve was a lean, white man in his early fifties, with a warm aura around him.

"What can I help you, gentlemen, with?" Doctor Steve asked patiently with a warm smile.

"Doctor Steve, how is everyone's condition now?" Lu Bai asked in a calm and composed tone.

"All of you are almost recovered, if we overlook those cuts and bruises, you all will be as good as new after a day or two more's rest." Doctor Steve beamed with a warm, amiable smile.

"Then can you please ask your Boss if we could leave? We still have unattended business here." Li Chen asked with a small smile.

"Why don't you ask the Boss yourselves? I'll inform her right away." Doctor Steve said warmly and quickly left without leaving room for any arguments.

The duo shared a worried look as they went behind Doctor Steve without any other choice.

They half-expected this because everyone here seemed warm and amiable on the outside but were cold-blooded and ruthless on the inside.

Lu Bai and Li Chen knew they had to tread carefully hereon because there were high chances for them to be considered a spy and then death was the easiest punishment they could expect.

They were behind Doctor Steve by at least ten steps, but as they followed him they noticed the security getting even stronger, giving them a sense of oppression for the first time since they came here.

After a ten-minute walk, they reached a white church building, pleasantly surprising the two.

"Gewehr [1], these foreigners want to talk to Dämonin, is she done with her prayer?" Doctor Steve asked with his usual warm smile, despite the man's bone-chilling look.

Gewehr nodded his head lightly and went inside the cathedral. Doctor Steve turned towards the duo and smiled warmly.

"Dämonin is inside, let's go in and wait." Doctor Steve said warmly, as he walked inside with the duo hesitantly following him in.

"Boss, why do you pray every day even when you don't believe in the Almighty?" Kleine asked while chewing her bubblegum in a bored manner.
