After the dinner with my son, he was already in his room and I was in my room too. Lying in my bed, thinking about what Shane's parents' reaction would be. We agreed to tell my son and his parents about us.

Now, I need to call or message first Shay. I need to be the one will tell her not Shane. She needs to know everything that I had kept it for many years.

I message Shay first before calling her. She might be not available right now. I started writing.

Macy: Hey,besh! Busy?

It was simple and waiting for her response.

Shay: Hi, girl, long time no hear. What's up? Not really, just here in my bed. Zander was out of town for new clients. Shana and Shaina were in bed already resting so I was reading right now when you text.

I message her back.

Macy: Can we talk? I will call you if you are not yet tired?

I waited for her reply but instead I heard my phone ringing. It was her who called me. I quickly answered her since it is getting late if I will tell her.

Macy: Hello, I was waiting for your reply but instead you call me first. I miss you beshie.

Shay: Miss you too, besh. Yeah, I better call you than wasting my time tapping my phone. So, how are you?

Macy: I am fine girl. There is something I really want to talk to you about. I hope you will not get mad at me.

Shay: Why would I be mad at you?

Macy: Because I lied to you big time. I am so sorry.

Shay: Huh! About what?

Macy: Remember when we were in Junior High that I left without saying goodbye to you properly.

Shay: Y-yeah, what about it? It was your grandmother's illness, right? You told that.

Macy: The truth is, I was pregnant that time. My parents knew it and they asked me who the father was. I did not tell them I decide to bear the baby and left this town because I do not want to abort it.

I did not hear Shay's reaction. I know I hurt her. I heard her heavy sighed over the phone that took minutes before I say something.

Macy: Shay, I'm so sorry I did not tell you the truth.

Shay: It hurts to know that you did not trust me but it is okay at least you did raise the baby. Your family was there for you to support you. It would be nice if I was part of your journey. You know I would not judge you.

Macy: Yeah, I am really sorry. I was afraid you will not be my best friend anymore.

Shay: Why would you say that? You will always be my best friend no matter what, no matter where we may be. I will never change you are part of my life.

Macy: I know and thank you Shay for being my best friend.

Shay: Yeah, so do not lie to me again. No matter what problems you have I am just phone call away. I will be there for you. Now, that we are just an hour away from each other.

Macy: I know. You the same if you need me. I will do anything for you.

Shay: Yeah, I know. So, who was the father? Do I know the guy?

Macy: Hmm... yeah!

Shay: Let's transfer this call into video call I want to see you on cam. 

I wanted to say No but she transferred it into video call. I saw her face pouting at me, waiting. I turned on my video so she can also see me.

Shay: Hey, what took you so long to open you video?

Macy: Sorry I got nervous right now seeing you on cam than just talking.

Shay: You are just afraid to see how I react, right?

I nodded.

Shay: So, who was it? It was a long time girl, so no need to make it a big deal. I won't judge you no matter who that were. Past is past.

Macy: I know but you will be angry with this.

Shay raised her brows and paused. We were silence looking each other's eyes.

Shay: Is it Zander? That's why you lied. Were you two hooked up before?

Macy: What! No, of course not. He was not my type; he is not until I am alive.

She sighed with relief.

Shay: Okay, thank God! Then tell me who, hurry up. I'm going to get mad and deliver this baby of mine if you keep the suspense.

Macy: I'm sorry. I'm sorry best friend. If you get mad at me I understand. 

I took another sighed.

Macy: Shane

Shay: What about Shane? 

Then she was about to say something but closed her mouth. I think she get what I mean.

Shay: Wait, my brother Shane? Shane Matt Cox? My brother Shane got you pregnant.

I nodded as my answer looking pity on me. I know she will react this way. I stared at her she stared at me too.

I see her closed her eyes and took a deep exhale inhale breath then looked back at me.

Shay: Really? 

She asked again. I decided to speak it all to her.

Macy: I know I should have told you how I feel about Shane but I was young then. I did know that it will lead to further more the feelings I have for him. I did not expect that we hooked up for that night, that night on your birthday. I always lost my mind when I was near him it forgets me everything even uses of protection. It not just once we had sex but twice. After that, it never happens again. I know I should have told you but you had your own thing back then Shay.

Shay: My thing?

She looked at me confused.

Macy: Zander and you... he was sneaking into your room.

Shay: W-what? How did you know that?

Macy: When I found out I was pregnant, I sneaked out to come to you that night but I saw him walking towards your house. You let him in even without your brother I know what does mean the two of you.

Shay: Oh!

I saw her smiled covering her mouth, I giggled. 

Shay: Okay, let's stop this drama of our lives. Tell me, does Shane know it? Does he know about the child? What is it? Girl or boy? 

Macy: Actually, he already knows everything like I told you a while ago. He was the one who discovered the truth because they already met. Our child is a boy. His name is Shan Matt Wilson.

Shay: You really named him after Shane. Hahaha... now I am happy because you really love my brother. I am not mad at you. Thankful that you did not abort my nephew and I really love you for that, I love you beshie always. 

Macy: Thank you for being my best friend for life Shay. 

Shay: Do not say anymore Macy. I am blessed to have you.

Macy: Wait, there's more before I forget.

Shay: What? There's more? What more are you talking about?

Macy: I am engage and hope you will be there.

Shay: To whom? 

I saw her raised her eyebrows. I grinned.

Macy: To your brother Shane.

Shay: What the...? 

Macy: Yeah, I will tell you everything about it next time. It is getting late for you and the baby in your tummy. What is the gender?

Shay: Thank goodness! I thought it was someone else. Okay, I think you are right we will talk another day for that. My coming baby is a boy.

Macy: Congratulation! Be careful always okay I will see you soon. I love you besh. Bye! You rest now.

Shay: Okay, okay, I love you too besh see you when I see you. Welcome to our family!

We both turned off the video call with happy and contented results. It was a good sign we have a blessing with Shay.
