Chapter 835-839

Chapter 835: First physical examination

"Then do you know how to cure this insect poison?" Kant asked.

"I don't know." The undead shook his head and said, "I asked Pique to show me the 'Yin Chi' insect before, and he even threatened me for a while. He said he would risk his life or something. Anyway, he didn't let me go. I see it."

Abel glanced at Bandak worriedly and asked the undead: "Listening to what you said, it seems that Pique is quite familiar with you?"

"Not bad." The undead curled his lips and replied: "That boy has good qualifications. When he first came to this town, his second uncle asked me to take him with him more. As a result, he has become very successful now, and my There will be less contact.”

"What does it mean to be successful?" Kant asked doubtfully.

The undead caretaker glanced around, leaned over and whispered to the three of them: "The relationship between Pique and the law enforcement officer at the town's supervision station is not simple."

Abel looked a little surprised after hearing what the undead said. I couldn't help shouting: "Supervisory Office?"

"Keep your voice down." The undead quickly stopped his question and continued: "Although I don't know how Pique got in touch with the people in the supervision station, I heard that his position in the supervision station is not low. Specifically, Which adult is not something we can know."

"How did you know this news?" Kant asked with a frown.

Although he had never met Peake before, judging from the undead's narration: he was able to be appreciated by the King of Medicine at a young age, and as an outsider, he was able to quickly find someone to protect him in this small town. This animal trainer named Pique should not do such stupid things as actively leaking information.

"I heard it from the vagrants who entered the supervision station." The undead responded very seriously: "Those people are all desperadoes, and they should not be able to frame others. I heard from them that every time Pique was arrested When he entered the prison, he could not even smoke a cigarette before someone respectfully asked him to come out."

"This" Kant read in confusion. In my heart, I still don't want to believe the facts told by the undead.

At this time, an elf in a doctor's uniform walked up to them and greeted them: "Is this the first time for you to come here to see a doctor?"

"Yes, yes." Abel was stunned and nodded quickly.

"Come in with me." The elf waved to them and said.

"Okay." Bandak glanced hesitantly at the long queue in front of them.

He asked curiously: "Who are these people in front of us?"

"They are all patients who have been here once before, and they are here for review this time." The elf casually introduced: "The rules of our clinic are: patients who come to the clinic for the first time need to undergo a full body examination. Then This one is more troublesome, so it’s better to start preparations earlier.”

"That's it, thank you." Bandak nodded.

After entering the hospital, Abel looked at the elves coming and going between the consulting room and the pharmacy, with shock on his face: the indoor space was much wider than expected. The medical facilities are also more complete than anyone expected.

The elf leading the way turned around, looked at the three of them, and asked, "Who is the doctor?"

"Me." Bandak took a step forward and raised his hand in response.

"Then please continue walking with me." The elf assistant ordered: "The other two please wait in the hall for a while."

"Okay. Please excuse me." Kant nodded slightly and responded politely.

Before leaving, Bandak sent a look to the other two to reassure them.

Abel and Kant gestured to him to cheer.

After watching Bandak leave, Abel and Kant found an empty seat in the lounge and sat down. Quietly waiting for Bandak's physical examination to end.

"Actually, this is the first time I have heard of such a thing as a physical examination." Bored, Abel took the initiative to chat: "In the past, when we were incorporated into the army, there would be older officers to examine our physical fitness, but he It's just a spell: a halo of light that passes quickly over our heads."

"Being able to use magic makes physical examinations much more convenient." Kant commented: "Calradia will set up military inspections, and national health examinations will be arranged once a year."

"The physique of the human race can be said to be very fragile." Abel said: "The physical examinations here are also conducted using magic. After all, these doctors are from the elves."

"Maybe, but it will probably take longer." Kant thought for a moment and said, "Are there any faces you are familiar with in this medical clinic?"

Abel straightened his back when he heard this, turned his head and looked around for a full circle. Finally he shook his head and said: "No, what I feel is that the aura of every elf here is very strange."

"Perhaps you can ask about the history of this medical center." Kant suggested with a smile.

"Okay, but let's wait until Bandak's medical treatment is over." Abel nodded: "Now I can only hold this thing in my mind."

Kant nodded slightly and said nothing more.

The two of them stayed in the lounge for about two hours, and before they knew it, it was lunch time. From time to time, an elf pushing a dining cart passed by the two of them.

Abel twisted his neck, stood up and looked out the window. I realized that it was already noon, and the sun was shining brightly in the blue sky.

"I thought we could catch up earlier. It turns out that a physical examination really takes so long." Abel shook his head and said.

"Bandak!" At this moment, Kant caught a glimpse of Bandak wearing patient clothes and immediately raised his hand to greet him.

Abel went straight to meet him. After seeing the pinhole on Bandak's arm, he asked worriedly: "How was the physical examination? Your body was not affected at all, right?"

"It's okay." Bandak said, shaking his head. Slowly walked to Kant's side and walked down.

Kant looked at it carefully for a while and said, "Have you received the test results?"

"No, the test results will be handed over directly to the doctor, who will hand them over to me during the consultation." Bandak looked stunned, and after a while, he answered.

"What's wrong with you?" Abel raised his hand and waved it in front of Bandak's face, asking with concern.

"When I checked just now, I saw that my blood was green." Bandak said with a puzzled look.

"Green?" Abel and Kant were shocked.

"That's not entirely true," Bandak scratched his head and responded with a frown: "It's just that I found that the blood drawn from my body was a strange color. It looked green."

"Did the elf who examined you say anything?" Abel asked.

Chapter 836: Advice given by the doctor

"No." Bandak sighed and replied, "But when I see the doctor later, he should explain it to me."

The three of them were silent for a while, and the atmosphere became gloomy.

An elf approached them and said to Bandak: "Mr. Bandak, you can go see the doctor."

"Okay." Bandak nodded, stood up and walked to the elf.

"Can we accompany him to see the doctor?" Kant looked at the elf and asked.

"Okay." The elf nodded.

Kant stood up and followed Bandak with Abel. The elf assistant led them out of the lobby on the first floor of the medical center. We arrived at the medical treatment room on the second floor.

"Where is this?" Abel asked strangely. The consultation room on the second floor is obviously much deserted than the consultation room on the first floor. There is no crowded flow of people, and each clinic occupies a very wide area: there are even plants planted in front of the door of each clinic, or wild beasts raised.

The elf did not answer his question immediately. Instead, he stopped in front of a clinic with a rockery spring in front of the door and introduced: "Mr. Bandak's condition is quite special. We can only turn him around without permission." We are among the ranks of special patients and have found the corresponding doctor for treatment. Please don’t mind.”

"Of course not." Kant nodded. I silently appreciated the service attitude of the medical office.

"Everyone, please come in." The elf assistant bowed and said, "The doctor will arrive soon."

"Isn't the doctor here yet?" Abel asked doubtfully.

"Well, because special doctors usually travel abroad for medical treatment. They will only come back when they encounter special cases." When the elf assistant said the word 'special', his eyes stayed on Bandak for a few seconds. .

"Well, thank you for your hard work." Bandak bent slightly and responded.

After the elf assistant sent them through the door, he turned around and went downstairs.

Abel walked at the end of the queue and pushed the door of the consulting room against the wall. Kant and Bandak had already found a bench indoors to sit down.

See the small garden planted in the corner, full of life. Abel was surprised: "This is so different from what I imagined."

"Perhaps this is the requirement of a top doctor for the clinic environment." Kant didn't pay much attention to the other indoor decorations. commented nonchalantly.

"Since the doctor is still out for consultation, how did he know about my condition?" Bandak asked doubtfully.

"Perhaps there is some special contact method." Abel tilted his head and thought for a while, then said: "I have met some Eastern Taoist priests before, and they seem to be able to 'transmit messages across thousands of miles' and so on. Speaking from nearby areas, The dragons we met before are also familiar with this skill."

"That's it," Bandak muttered silently.

Kant glanced at Abel and said: "It seems that the elves on this island are not only out of touch culturally, but also out of touch physically. Maybe you can learn some such skills from them. After you go back, what do you do in your daily life? There is no need to trouble the old Elf King to rush to Calradia’s city gate himself.”

"This" Abel said hesitantly, but before he could finish his words - the approach of a powerful aura made Abel's heart beat rapidly involuntarily.

"Who?" Abel turned his head stiffly and looked toward the door.

I saw a healthy old man wearing a medical uniform walking in from the porch with windy legs and legs.

This elf looks to be close to a hundred years old, much older than the old elf king. His skin was close to the silvery white of jewelry, and his face was covered with wrinkles, but his pupils were as sharp as a precise scalpel in his hand, as if he wanted to analyze the person from the inside out.

Unlike Kant's regal temperament, this doctor's temperament is calm and cautious.

"Hello, doctor. I am a patient here, Bandak." Bandak took the initiative to step forward and extended his hand.

"Well." The elf doctor introduced himself: "My name is Brandon. Who are these two?"

"They are my friends." Bandak struggled for a while, not knowing how to introduce the identities of Kant and Abel. He spoke hesitantly.

"Okay." Brandon raised his eyes and glanced at Kant and Abel. He nodded slightly and said, "Since we don't have much time, let's get to the point quickly."

"Yes." Bandak sat upright on the patient's seat and nodded in response.

"I have already seen the results of your physical examination." Brandon took out a page of manuscript paper and said while taking notes: "I think you may also know how your current physical condition was created. But this is yours. It’s a private matter, that’s not the subject of our discussion.”

"Yeah." Bandak took the inspection report that Brandon handed over casually and read it carefully.

However, he did not understand the data statements in the report. He looked confused.

"You now have a highly toxic insect in your body. The facilities and reserves of the medical center on the island alone cannot treat you." Dr. Brandon explained: "There are several corresponding solutions available. You consider: 1. Go home and wait for death or find a time to commit suicide. It will be about two months until the eggs completely swallow you up. 2. Find the person who poisoned you and let him He will give you the antidote. This is my personal most recommended plan. Third, carry out a blood transfusion with half the hope."

"What is blood transfusion?" Bandak's face turned pale after hearing the first two options. When the doctor said the word 'blood transfusion', his eyes lit up and he asked.

The doctor took a deep breath and said: "It is to purify the blood in your body through a spell. This spell can treat any disease. I need to apply for a doctor with more qualifications to come and help, and you will have to pay a correspondingly high fee. And during this treatment process, patients will experience extreme pain, and some people will die directly from the pain during the execution of the spell. In this case, we will not make any compensation."

"What's the chance of success?" Abel asked in a deep voice, "How many percent can it be?"

"Fifty percent." Brandon said expressionlessly.

"What will happen to me if I fail?" Bandak lowered his eyes and said.

"It will be counterattacked by the magic power and die suddenly." Brandon was silent for a while and replied: "You can discuss it first and then make a decision. The operation will cost one hundred gold coins. I hope you can do it according to your ability."

"Okay, we get it." Kant nodded.

"Thank you, Doctor Brandon." Bandak stood up and said, "We will consider it carefully."

Chapter 837: The Lord takes action

"In the past few days, I will stay in the town. If you have any questions, you can ask me at any time." Brandon softened his expression and said, "Actually, it's okay to quietly enjoy the last period of time before losing consciousness. Not good. For one hundred gold coins, you can live any life you want."

"Yeah." Bandak nodded silently.

The three of them said goodbye and left the hospital. On the way back to the hotel, no one took the initiative to say anything.

It wasn't until Bandak walked into the guest room and walked straight to his bedroom that Kant winked at Abel and motioned for him to follow.

"Bandak, what are you doing in the bedroom?" Abel asked softly, and opened the slightly closed door.

After seeing Bandak pull out a blade from the suitcase, Abel ran in in shock and grabbed Bandak's right hand that was holding the dagger tightly: Now Bandak has lost his force, and in strength On the one hand, he is no match for Abel, who is skilled in both magic and martial arts.

"What are you going to do?" Abel asked loudly.

This movement attracted Kant, who was sitting idle in the main hall. When the two people's stalemate backs came into view, a trace of disappointment flashed in Kant's eyes. In his mind: Bandak is not someone who would seek short-sightedness. The current action is really beyond expectations.

"I'm sorry." After a long time, Bandak threw the dagger in his hand on the floor, and introduced to Abel and Kant dejectedly: "I just feel that I am too decadent, and I want to use some external force to cheer myself up. .”

"You must not hurt yourself." Abel said, staring at Bandak seriously.

"I'm sorry," Bandak said repeatedly.

"We will find Peak. The dragons, dwarfs, and goblins will all help us." Abel took a deep breath and said, "Even if Peak flies outside the island, I will catch him." , ask him to hand over the antidote."

"Yeah." Bandak nodded silently.

"What kind of bad idea did that doctor come up with? He wanted to make the patient risk his life without even 10% intention." Abel said angrily: "Let's not go to that hospital again in the future."

"The poison has eroded Bandak's blood, which means we don't have much time left." Kant said lightly: "Abel, come over and help me grind the ink. I will write the letter tonight. Find someone to take you up the mountain."

"Yes." Abel responded immediately. Before leaving the room, he picked up the dagger on the floor and took it to the main hall.

Kant went to his room and took out some paper, pen and ink. Brought to the living room.

Abel brought the candlestick to the tea table for illumination while writing letters.

"Abel, follow me to see the owner of this hotel." Kant held the two letters in his arms and ordered Abel on the side.

"Is it really okay to leave Bandak alone in this room?" Abel asked hesitantly.

"If he really wants to do something stupid, we can't stop him." Kant's expression did not change and he responded calmly.

Although his tone sounded calm, Abel, who had been by Kant's side for a while, had already noticed the anger in Kant's chest. I could only timidly follow Kant's footsteps and walk out of the guest room.

Bandak, who had been staying in his bedroom, slowly got up and walked to the living room after hearing the door closing at the entrance. Sitting down at the tea table and seeing the still burning candlestick and unfolded rice paper, Bandak sighed softly.

"what do I do"

"Man, have you seen your boss?" Abel walked to the counter and asked an unfamiliar waiter.

"Boss, he's out. What's the matter with you two adults?" the waiter lowered his head and asked.

"We have two letters here that need to be transported up the mountain quickly." Kant explained: "Can you help us find someone who can run errands to help us take the letters to the dwarf country. We are responsible for all expenses."

"Sir, are you looking for a dwarf craftsman from the dwarf country?" the waiter asked.

"Yes." Abel confirmed: "But these two letters need to be sent to different places. The other address is the main city of the Goblin Kingdom."

"I don't know much about the situation in the Goblin Kingdom." The tall waiter scratched his head and said, "However, it seems that the patriarch of the Gnome Kingdom will come to this town tomorrow. If anything happens to the two adults, You can make an appointment with the Supervisory Office on your behalf and report it in person when the time comes."

"So that's it." Kant was slightly surprised by the news that the dwarf clan came down the mountain. "Is the dwarf clan leader you mentioned the original old clan leader?"

"Probably so." The waiter thought for a while, nodded and said, "You can leave the appointment to the store clerk, but the two customers have to arrive on time."

"Okay, thank you." Abel agreed: "Then this letter"

"You need to ask the hotel manager about the letter." The waiter said awkwardly: "After all, I don't know much about the rules and procedures of the teleportation array."

"Okay, then please let us know when the store manager returns." Kant nodded and said, "We will discuss it with him."

"Sorry." The waiter bent down and said apologetically.

"It doesn't matter."

After Kant and Abel explained everything, they turned and went upstairs.

"Don't the dwarfs not like to socialize with others? Why would they suddenly come to the town to participate in the rally? It's really strange." Abel whispered.

"I guess it's something I've been investigating before, and some clues have been found. I want to go down the mountain to discuss countermeasures with the vagrants of other races." Kant analyzed: "Maybe we will know when we meet tomorrow."

"I hope the progress of this situation can be delayed, otherwise we will have to be forcibly involved in this storm." Abel prayed softly.

"Let nature take its course." Kant said, "After all, we can't understand the dynamics of this situation."

Back in the guest room, Abel heard the sound of running water from the bathroom, and his nerves immediately became tense. Before he could take off his shoes, he rushed to the bathroom door and shouted inside: "Bandak! Can you hear my voice?"

"I heard it. I'm taking a shower." Bandak replied.

Abel breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It seems that I will have to keep an eye on your movements like this for a while."

"Why do you think he would commit suicide in the bathroom?" Kant had already sat down at the tea table and asked curiously.

"I don't know either." Faced with Kant's doubts, Abel was speechless for a long time. In the end, he could only shake his head and responded: "Maybe I didn't eat lunch and I was a little starved."

Chapter 838: Dinner prepared by Volt

After Kant heard Abel's answer, he glanced at him helplessly and said, "If you have any complaints in your heart, you can just say it. There is no need to do this."

"No, no." Abel panicked, realizing that he had said the wrong thing, and hurriedly denied: "I didn't mean that."

"Haha." Kant laughed softly and said, "I was just making a little joke. After Bandak comes out of the bathroom, let's start ordering food."

"Okay." After unexpectedly discovering Kant's bad taste, Abel could only surrender helplessly.

When he heard the sound of water in the bathroom stop, Abel walked out of the guest room and called a waiter.

"Two adults, what can I do for you?" The waiter who was summoned and hurried upstairs asked respectfully.

"We would like to order some dinner, could you please bring up the menu?" Abel asked politely.

"Of course." The waiter nodded, and after giving a slight salute, he turned and returned downstairs.

Abel stood by the door and waited quietly. After noticing Bandak walking out of the bathroom, he greeted him: "Bandak, are you feeling hungry? We are about to order food."

"Dinner?" Bandak raised his eyebrows, sat down at the tea table, and asked Abel.

"Of course, you don't even know what time it is." Abel said, "Speaking of which, we haven't stopped to rest much today."

"That's pretty good." Bandak said with a smile, "You can eat more for dinner."

Kant felt relieved when he heard that Bandak's tone of voice had improved slightly and he was no longer as depressed as before.

"Why has this waiter been here for so long?" Just when Abel was getting impatient with waiting, the waiter who had been here before climbed up the stairs to the second floor and walked towards the door of the guest room. But there was really nothing in my hands.

"Where's the menu?" Abel asked doubtfully.

"Excuse me, a few guests." The waiter raised his eyes and glanced into the room. After realizing that the two people sitting inside were also paying attention to what was going on here, he explained: "The boss of our store hopes to invite a few guests." Let’s have dinner together in the restaurant downstairs, and I was specially sent to deliver the message.”

"The owner of the hotel." Abel thought for a while and agreed, "Well, please tell the shopkeeper: We will be there later."

"Yes." The waiter bent down and replied.

After watching the waiter go down the stairs, Abel closed the door and said to the other two people: "The owner of the hotel invited us to have dinner together."

"That's not bad. You can ask him to help deliver the message in person." Kant nodded and said, "Everyone, please tidy up your clothes and get ready for the banquet."

Bandak glanced at the bathrobe he was wearing, then quickly walked to his bedroom and changed into the casual clothes he wore every day when going out.

When he walked out of the room, Abel and Kant were already standing at the entrance, waiting.

"Let's go." Kant said.

The three of them walked slowly to the restaurant on the first floor: they had already missed their meal, and there were no other diners in the restaurant except the hotel owner who had been waiting.

After Bandak walked into the dining table, he looked at the dishes on the table and grinned, "This dinner is so sumptuous."

"Your Majesty Kant, Commander Bandak, General Abel. This is our first meeting. Please take care of me." The boss smiled warmly and stepped forward to say hello.

Kant, who was standing at the front, took the other person's outstretched hand and responded with a smile: "This is our first meeting. What is your name?"

"I'm just the manager of a small hotel. You can just call me by my real name." The hotel owner said modestly, "My name is Volt."

"Hello, Mr. Volta." Kant said, "Thank you for your care in recent days."

"It's okay, it's okay. Everyone, please take a seat." Volt let go of his hand and greeted the three of them.

"There shouldn't be room for this table." Abel said in surprise as he saw another group of waiters carrying dinner plates pouring out of the restaurant.

"What they have in their hands should be desserts prepared after the meal and will not take up space on the dining table." Volt explained with a smile.

"That's it." Abel replied sheepishly.

On weekdays, Abel's staple food is vegetables, fruits, etc., and he has naturally ignored the existence of desserts.

"Now that the dishes have been served, please start your meal." Volt waved his hand and asked the waiter who was serving the dishes to step back. He said to the three people at the dinner table: "If you have anything to do, you have to eat before you have the strength to talk about it."

"Thank you, Mr. Volt." Abel nodded slightly.

After the four people drank their pre-dinner drinks, they began to focus on the food presented on the table.

Bandak usually has a big appetite, but at this time, he had an even bigger appetite and started to chop up large pieces of meat.

The three of them had been running around all day and were exhausted mentally. During the rare meal time, they seemed relaxed and casual. Although there was only the sound of clinking knives and forks with dishes during the dinner, the atmosphere did not feel awkward.

The innkeeper took a look at the three people who were eating, and then started drinking happily.

"Mr. Volta, since we have something important to discuss, it would be better for us to have tea instead of wine." Kant saw Volta drinking cup after cup, and quickly stopped this trend and took the initiative to offer tea.

"Yes, yes." Volt waved his hand sheepishly and poured out the drink in the glass. After refilling the tea, he replied to Kant: "I just lost my temper. Thank you, His Majesty Kant, for reminding me."

"There is no need to worry about such trivial matters." Kant smiled slightly and said, "Just drinking on an empty stomach is really harmful to the body."

"You are right." Volt said with a smile. Then he picked up a brand new knife and fork and started eating.

After drinking and eating, Volt took the initiative to say to make up for his mistake: "I heard that Your Highness would like to find someone to send you a letter?"

"Yes." Kant put down the tea cup and responded: "Because it's a little urgent, I need to contact my friends in the Goblin Country for help. So I want to try to see if I can ask the boss to find a reliable candidate to make this trip for me. "

"Of course there are candidates." Volt nodded and said: "It's just that the road to the Goblin Country is not that easy to walk on. Your Majesty, have your friends in the Goblin Country left any tokens for you? Okay? The kind that messengers can show to the officers and soldiers guarding the city."

Kant and Abel looked at each other and recalled in their minds: "We don't have the things you mentioned with us. We probably can't give them to you."

"In this case," the hotel owner said: The territory on the volcano cannot be entered and exited at will.

Chapter 839: Preparation before meeting

"Actually, our friend is the king of the goblin country, Gilbert." Kant hesitated for a while and asked: "In this case, can you find a way to give the letter to him?"

"Your Highness Gilbert?" The innkeeper's eyes lit up and he said in disbelief: "It turns out that all of you are friends of His Highness Gilbert?"

"We can be considered friends," Abel said helplessly: "Boss, have you thought of a new way?"

"If it is a letter sent to His Highness Gilbert, of course we have a way to deliver it." Volt said easily: "All we need to do is find a familiar politician friend and bring the letter to the palace."

"That's great." Bandak said gratefully, "Thank you, Mr. Volt."

"My lords, I should be the one to express my gratitude to you for your condescension to my shop." Volt said humbly.

"We came to this island alone, with no one to rely on. We can only rely on the help of others to make the task at hand go smoothly. We will naturally be sincerely grateful to everyone who helps us." Kant responded road.

"You are all big people with broad minds. What you are doing now will definitely be successful." Volt stood up and toasted.

Kant and others also stood up one after another, drank tea instead of wine, and drank it all in one gulp.

The dinner ended and the three of them returned to the room. After watching them go up the stairs, Volt turned around and went back to his room to rest.

"I didn't expect that Gilbert would have such a great reputation in the town after he came to the throne." Abel said with emotion: "When I met him on the roadside, I didn't expect the current situation at all."

"The boss is also kind-hearted. Since we moved in here, he has responded to all our requests." Bandak drank a little wine during the dinner, and now his whole consciousness has become confused. Slurred speech.

"Gilbert was the emperor who was promoted by the side that won the civil war, and his status is naturally much higher than that of the lords who naturally inherited the throne in the past." Kant said: "Furthermore, the supervision of the town is now carried out by the Goblin Kingdom. Many merchants in the country rely on the power of the goblin country."

"Yes." Abel nodded: "Perhaps this is also the reason why this rotation system is implemented."

Kant smelled the smell of alcohol on Bandak's body, and immediately stepped forward to help him and said, "I haven't seen you drink much, how come you got drunk so quickly?"

"The body I have now is no longer my body." Bandak's cheeks had a drunken blush and he said to Kant with a smile.

Abel also came over and helped Bandak up. Said: "Bandak's physical characteristics are indeed gradually disappearing. I should have noticed it when we were riding in the carriage before."

Recalling that when Bandak met them in the Goblin Kingdom, his body had already begun to show abnormalities.

"It's okay, this will all be over soon." Kant comforted the drunken Bandak softly, as if he were supporting a child.

Bandak's frown gradually relaxed and he fell asleep relaxedly.

"Fortunately, the smell of alcohol on his body is not strong, otherwise we would have to take care of him to take a bath." Abel placed Bandak on the bed, turned around and said to Kant.

"Let's go out quickly. Bandak has been tired for a long day today. Let him have a good rest." Kant greeted.

Abel went to the corner and extinguished the candlestick. Then he quietly followed Kant out of Bandak's bedroom.

While closing the door, Abel suddenly remembered something and exclaimed in a low voice: "Oops, we forgot to tell Bandak about meeting the dwarfs tomorrow."

Kant was startled by him. After hearing the whole sentence, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It doesn't matter. It's enough for the two of us to go tomorrow."

"Okay." Abel nodded.

"It's getting late, I'll go back to my room and go to bed first." Kant asked, "You should also go to bed early."

With that said, he walked into his bedroom and closed the door softly.

Abel shrugged helplessly, walked to the main hall and extinguished the candlestick, then began to arrange his clothes and prepare to take a bath in the bathroom.

When he walked out of the bathroom, he glanced at Kant's room. The candlelight in the room shined through the crack in the door, making it particularly conspicuous in the darkness.

"It's like this every time," Abel said, shaking his head.

While sleeping with Kant and Bandak, Abel accidentally discovered that Kant would work on copywriting until three or four in the morning every night. Every time he couldn't sleep at night, Abel would go to the main hall and pour himself a glass of water. At this time, Abel would run into Kant who was working.

Are all humans like this? Abel thought silently in his heart while lying on the bed.

Early the next morning.

Bandak was still asleep, but Kant and Abel were already sitting at the dining table and eating breakfast quietly.

What woke them up was the knock on the door of the waiter who came to report the news.

A sleepy-eyed Abel opened the door to the guest room and said to the waiter outside the door: "We would be happier if you could adjust the time of notification."

"Sorry, Lord Abel." The waiter said apologetically with a blushing face: "We have contacted the craftsmen of the dwarf tribe for you. They hope to meet you at 8:30 this morning."

"So early?" Abel said in surprise.

"This is the time taken while constantly adjusting the schedule. So" the waiter explained helplessly.

"It's okay, I just said it casually." Bandak smiled and said, "You can ignore it."

"Huh?" The waiter was stunned and said, "Since the message has been delivered, I won't disturb your rest."

"You should talk less when you are awake." Kant commented after listening to Abel talk about the entire experience during the meal.

"I think so," Abel reflected.

The breakfast time between the two ended in small talk. After Kant wiped the cream from the corner of his mouth with a napkin, he greeted Abel: "Let's get ready to go."

"Okay." Abel agreed.

Abel walked to his room and took out some coins. When passing Bandak's bedroom, he quietly walked in to check on Bandak's condition. After discovering that the other party was still sleeping soundly, he walked out of the room with confidence.

"Is Bandak still sleeping?" Kant asked softly.

"Yeah." Abel nodded.

"That's fine, let him have a good rest." Kant walked to the entrance, put on his boots, and said.

When the two of them walked downstairs, they happened to run into the waiter who came to greet them.

"My lords, the carriage is ready," the waiter said.
