Vol 2 Chapter 557: Baiyunyueyin

  Chapter 557 Baiyun Yueyin

‘People eat sheep, sheep die for people, people die for sheep, and so on for ten lives, life and death, life and death, eating each other, evil karma is born, and the future is poor, so it is based on stealing and greed. '

Monk Boundless's response is an allusion from the Shurangama Sutra on the Head of the Great Buddha.

Buddha believed that people cannibalism is nothing more than retribution for grievances, life and death, and eventually they will sacrifice their lives for their lives and sink into the sea of suffering.

Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, the monks around him began to praise him greatly.

"As expected of a benevolent Buddha, he can quote the classics so quickly."

With the opening chapter of the Boundless Monk, the Guangming Buddha's son Yehui Monk beside him is naturally not far behind, and immediately proclaimed the Buddha's name, and said loudly:

   "Weird, weird, grandson married grandmother.

Pigs and sheep sit on the kang and cook in a six-parent pot.

The daughter eats the flesh of the mother, and the son beats the father's skin drum.

Everyone came to congratulate, I think it is really bitter! "

All the monks clasped their palms together when they heard the words, and said, "It's a sin, a sin."

Li Chen nodded slightly. In fact, the doggerel that Guangming Buddha said also quoted classics.

It came from the mouth of the eminent monk "Monk Zhigong" in the "Que Pian Temple" five hundred years ago.

This monk Zhigong is amazing. He has reached the realm of asking questions in his practice. He has five eyes and six senses, understands cause and effect, and knows back and forth.

One day, a wealthy family had a wedding and a big banquet, so they invited monk Zhigong to recite scriptures.

As a result, as soon as the monk Zhigong entered, he was startled by the sight in front of him.

This family, young and old, is entangled in karma and reincarnation, so this doggerel came out.

‘Grandson marries grandmother’ refers to the fact that the grandmother of this family couldn’t let go of his precious grandson before she died.

So after death, he went to the underworld, and he was very worried, so he was told by Yan Wang: "Since you love your grandson so much, then you will be his wife in the next life, so that you can take care of her."

So the old lady was reincarnated and became the wife of the grandson in this life.

'Pigs and sheep sit on the kang, and the six relatives cook in the pot' means that the owner's family used to specialize in cattle and sheep business.

The cattle and sheep that were slaughtered before were reborn as human beings in this life, and instead became guests.

The six relatives who used to love to eat beef and mutton were entrusted to become cattle and sheep, and were slaughtered to pay off their debts.

'A woman eats her mother's meat' refers to a woman on the next table who is holding a pig's trotter and eating with relish, unexpectedly it is her mother's reincarnation.

'Son beats father's skin drum', Monk Zhigong looked at those who played music again, playing gongs and drums, trumpet, and flute, how lively it was!

A man beat a drum vigorously. The drum was made of donkey skin, and this donkey turned out to be his father in the previous life!

At this moment, "everyone came to congratulate", everyone thought it was a happy day, but Monk Zhigong just sighed: "I say it is really bitter!" In fact, people take pleasure in suffering!

Although this doggerel looks simple, it is the truth that has exhausted the suffering of karma and reincarnation.

So after Guangming Buddha finished his chanting just now, all the monks recited 'sins and sins'.

It can be seen from this that what the Bright Buddha and the Merciful Buddha talked about is the cause and effect of killing and reincarnation.

The harm of killing lies in cause and effect, in reincarnation.

But Li Chen laughed it off. Even if there was a theory of reincarnation in these two stories, they were probably mixed with a lot of fictional elements.

It is intended to warn all living beings about the suffering of killing and eating meat.

Da Leiyin Temple, Da Ci'en Temple, Da Guangming Temple, and the three major temples are juxtaposed.

Since the Compassionate Buddha and the Bright Buddha came out one after another, there is no reason why the Leiyin Buddha should not come out.

What's more, in the Dharma decree, the title of 'killing' was still written by him.

The corner of Leiyin Buddha's mouth curled up. He didn't perform the Zen ritual, nor did he take the magic weapon. He walked to the front without even pronouncing the Buddha's name.

Although it was just a short sentence, it sounded cloudy, but a few people's eyes lit up.

The words of Leiyin Fozi are actually a story in the "Miscellaneous Metaphors".

It is said that there was a monk who begged one day to a jewelry seller's house.

The owner of the house prepared meals for the Samana, and then went out.

At that time, there happened to be an orb worth hundreds of millions in that family, and there happened to be a parrot fed by the owner next to the window.

This parrot is very curious and greedy, so he swallowed this orb in one gulp while no one was paying attention.

When the master came back, he found that the orb was missing, so he asked the Samana.

The recluse knew where the orb was, but said: "I didn't take it."

So the host asked if anyone had been here. Samana said no.

The master said: "Since no one else has been here, who else could it be if it wasn't the thief?"

After speaking, he picked up the whip and beat the Samana.

Suddenly, the parrot saw the blood on Samana's body, so it flew over to drink the blood again, but was hit by the whip, and fell to the ground and died immediately.

At this time, Samana said, "It was the parrot that ate the orb."

The owner heard the words, cut open the parrot's abdomen, and found the orb. Then he realized that he was wrong and blamed Samana, so he asked in puzzlement, "Why didn't you tell me that the parrot ate it earlier?"

The recluse said: "I hold the Buddha's precepts, not to kill. If I say it, I might kill the parrot. Even if you kill me, I can't say it. But now the parrot is dead, so I can only say it."

After the master heard about it, he was very remorseful, and quickly apologized to the Samana.

And this allusion is what Lei Yinfozi said, "The parrot swallows the jewel, and the recluse bears the blame."

The Samana would rather bear the harm himself than indirectly harm the parrot.

Compared with the words of Master Ci En and Buddha Master Guangming, the allusions spoken by Master Leiyin are undoubtedly more vivid.

Lei Yinfozi turned his head and took a look, very satisfied with the reaction of the monks.

Finally, his eyes fell on Li Chen's face, and that meaningful smile appeared on the corner of his mouth again.

But at this moment, a clear and sweet female voice suddenly came from the crowd: "Amitabha."

When the monks heard the words, they all followed the sound.

Li Chen was also taken aback, because the voice was not far from him.

Turning her head to look, she was a teacher, with curved willow eyebrows and bright eyes. The most impressive thing was her skin, which was as white as suet, and even her scalp was crystal clear.

Looks slightly younger than Li Chen.

She looked solemn, moved her lotus steps lightly, clasped her hands together and bowed to the monks, and then said: "There are two people inside the meat character, and there are people outside.

Sentient beings still eat the flesh of living beings, think carefully about human cannibalism. "

Her voice is clear and melodious, but her tone is consistent. Listen carefully, if it rings in your ears, it will take root in your heart.

"It turned out to be the little teacher Yueyin of Baiyun Nunnery. She is really smart and has no time for Baiyu."

I don't know who has recognized the nun's identity.

Hearing this, Li Chen thought to himself: So it was her!

The auspicious Dharma Assembly is a sacred scripture of Buddhism all over the world, and naturally female nuns also participated.

And this little teacher, Yueyin, is a leader of the younger generation who has become famous in Buddhism in recent years.

Even in southern Xinjiang, this nun is well-known.
