Ryan and Issabelle spent the weekend making love, in the hotel room, in the car, while they were exploring the countryside, and also by the riverbank in moonlight, with the moon and the stars being witness to their lovemaking. He promised that he would talk to his father the same day itself. He assured her, he would call up at night to inform her about their decision. He assured her that nobody could make him change his decision, she need not worry. If the need arises they would rent a place for themselves. He told her that she could continue her studies and if she wished she could also work. After exams, he would join his father's firm, or if required he could also take up the job of teaching, that he had been offered at the university campus. He would take a decision very soon he promised her.

They got married after a month. It was a court marriage, with Ryan's friends being witness from his side, and Mrs. Baker and Emma from her side. They had four months of intense happiness, With Issabelle feeling that nothing could ever destroy their marriage. She felt she was so secure in his love, till one fine day that Issabelle discovered that she was probably pregnant. She went to see a gynecologist. Her worst fears came true when she was informed that she was indeed pregnant.

Issabelle waited for Ryan happily that evening to inform him about the test. She gave him the good news. But to her surprise, he harshly replied, "You are pregnant, how can that be." He said that it was not possible at all.
