Chapter 76: Hermione

Harry underestimated the impact of those events last year, and underestimated the strength of the Ministry of Magic. He thought that the students at Hogwarts still believed in Dumbledore, but the facts were beyond his imagination.

"You don't know my mother, she will tell anyone!" Seamus Finnigan snapped. He was a roommate in Harry's dormitory. He just quarreled with him because he suspected Harry again. "Anyway, your parents won't read the Daily Prophet. They won't know that our principal has been expelled from the Wizarding Jury and the International Wizarding League because he lost his mind!"

The next morning, Harry and Ron found Hermione. This is the person they can find now that they can believe in their good minds, even though Hermione seemed a little impatient.

"Well, Harry, what's the matter? You look very annoyed." Hermione asked as they walked past a series of portraits of witches and wizards hanging on the side of the stairs, but the portraits ignored them. Talking about his topic enthusiastically.

"Simo suspected that Harry had lied about the mysterious man." Ron briefly explained Harry for Harry who hadn't answered.

Hermione sighed, not as surprised as Harry expected, but instead said, "Yes, Lavender thinks so too."

"Then you talk happily with her about me, a fool who wants other people's attention, is it lying, isn't it?" Harry looked at Hermione's calm face and cried out.

Hermione said calmly, "It's not like that. I warned her to close her big fat mouth talking about you. Harry, if you can lower your tone of voice to Ron and me, you might not meet. With so many troubles, in fact, many people are just skeptical, but your attitude makes them unhappy."

   There was a little silence.

   "I'm sorry," Harry whispered disappointedly.

"That's all right." Hermione said proudly, she looked a bit like Professor McGonagall, then she shook her head and said, "Do you remember what Dumbledore said at the party at the end of last semester?"

Harry and Ron both looked at Hermione blankly, hoping that she could explain it more clearly.

" " is about mysterious people. He said that his "gift for spreading dissonance and hatred is very high." We can only contend against him with the powerful combination of friendship and trust—"

"How can you remember the original version so firmly?" Ron looked at her enviously.

"I listened, Ron," Hermione said in a mean tone, looking at Ron like an idiot.

"I'm listening, but I still can't speak as finely as you—" Ron's ears were red.

"The point is that this kind of thing is what Dumbledore said," Hermione emphasized, raising her voice. "We've already had infighting within two months after the mysterious man came back. The Sorting Hat also warns like this: stand together and unite. stand up-"

"But Harry was right that way last night," Ron retorted, "If that warning means we have to show favor to the Slytherin fools."

"Then I'm sorry we didn't work hard to get a little bit of internal unity." Hermione said **** for tat.

When they finished walking the marble stairs, a group of Ravenclaw's fourth-graders were walking through the hall. They saw Harry and ran away in a huddle, as if Harry would attack those who were left behind.

"Yeah, we really are trying to make friends with those people." Harry said sarcastically.

Suddenly, Hermione looked at Harry intently, and said word by word: "The reason they are like just now is because of what you have done before. You shouldn't be targeting Guris so much, or your situation will be much better. "

"But what I said is the truth!" Harry argued excitedly.

"But it's also true that Guris is risking his life to pass news to us!" Hermione said without backing up. "You know, Harry, the best way to solve the situation now is for you to reconcile with Guris. In that way, at least half of the people in the school will no longer oppose you, and more people will choose to believe what you say!"

   "It's impossible!" Harry growled.

"Yes!" Hermione sarcastically, "I knew you wouldn't do it, just because he is more handsome and popular than you, and is still Qiu Zhang's boyfriend, so you will never apologize to him. In your eyes, even if others pay their lives to fight Voldemort, it is not as important as your face!"

Harry seemed to be taken aback by what she said, and stepped back, "No, it's not like that. If I apologize to Guris, others will not believe what I said, yes! Look at what we said last year— "

Hermione interrupted him, "Guris only said last year that he won the trophy, and then you can’t be found anywhere. As long as you don’t mention Guris’ presence at Voldemort, his words can even prove it for you. It’s you who messed up things yourself, and you want Guris to jump out and say in front of everyone that what you said is true! What about Sirius, what about the sacrifices your godfather made before, He is still wanted by the Ministry of Magic, what about Guris's safety?"

Hermione's eyes were round, and at this moment she looked like Professor McGonagall.

Harry was silent, did not speak for a long time, but did not intend to apologize at all.

"Okay," Hermione gave a sneer, then flung her schoolbag away, "Since you don't want to listen to me, please stop asking me for ideas next time. I don't like nonsense."

  ------

Harry hadn't recovered until the beginning of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Ron didn't dare to speak beside him. He felt that Harry was like a gunpowder keg, which could explode at any time. Asking Harry to apologize to Guris, Ron didn't think he would even think of this idea in his dreams.

But then he had to admit that Hermione was braver than he thought.

"I have a question about your course goals," Hermione suddenly stood up and said during the first class in Umbridge.

   Umbridge raised her eyes.

   "Well, what's your name?"

   "Hermione Granger" said Hermione.

"Okay, Miss Granger, I think the course objectives are very clear, if you read them carefully," Professor Umbridge said firmly.

"Oh, I have read it." Hermione said frankly. "But there is nothing written about the defensive spell on it."

There was a brief silence in the classroom.

"Use the defensive spell?" Professor Umbridge said with a little smile. "Why, it seems that you don't need to use the defensive spell in my class, Miss Granger. You definitely don't want to be attacked in class." She thought she had made a little joke, but no one could laugh.

"But we will need it in the future ~www.novelmt.com~ even out of campus!" Hermione did not step back.

"As long as you learn enough theories and long enough, there is no reason why you can't complete a spell under careful, carefully controlled conditions." Umbridge explained.

"Then you mean that the first time we used a spell, it was when someone else cast a spell on us?" Hermione asked disdainfully, "Relying on a spell that she didn't know if she had cast it. superior?"

Umbridge squinted her eyes, and she felt Hermione’s difficulty, "The outside world is far more peaceful than you think, Miss Granger, of course you may have been bewitched by someone with ulterior motives," She glanced at Harry, "But with the Auror of the Ministry of Magic protecting you, you don't have to worry about your safety."

Harry's face flushed, and he stood up, "I said, prodded--"

"Harry, shut up!" Hermione interrupted him suddenly, then looked at Umbridge and said, "Then may I ask Professor Auror's Defense Against the Dark Arts class as a theoretical class, in that case we can really trust Are they? And since the outside is as safe as you said, why should we take the Defense Against the Dark Arts class and just cancel it."

Everyone took a deep breath, and the smile on Umbridge's face disappeared. She has nothing to say. The Defense Against the Dark Arts class itself shouldn't be just a theory, but in order to prevent Dumbledore from mastering more wizards, neither Fudge nor she wanted to give these students the magic used in battle.

"I think we should have a good talk, Miss Granger, maybe a confinement is more appropriate." She said coldly.
