The new function was just unlocked. Shuvam was ecstatic. " What is the new function, Andy ? ",he asked.

" Knowledge chart function. It will help user to gain knowledge on how to make games and everything required for user to make any games by himself. ", Andy replied.

" User can also view and increase your creativity. It will help host get better ideas and view world from a different angle which may lead to user being able to create better game designs. "

Shuvam really wanted to increase his creativity right now. He asked where he could increase it. Andy immediately opened the profile tab and there laid the currently owned dev coins and the creativity of user. He also noticed that a knowledge chart tab had been added to the interface.

His creativity was 2. He thought that 1 was the normal standard for people and grew ecstatic thinking that he was some sort of a genius. Suddenly Andy interrupted Shuvam's train of thought and replied, " 2.5 is normal for people. Your's is slightly lower. "

Shuvam felt like this robot was too cold hearted. ' Telling me about it when I was rejoicing. This cold hearted stone. ', he thought.

He saw an increase option. He used 5000 dev coins to increase his creativity by one point. Suddenly, his head started working in a weird way. He seemed to view stuff in an more artistic way. It was like a whole new world opened up in front of him. He was in europhia right now.

He had 15,300 dev coins. He used 10,000 for the system upgrade and 5,000 more to increase his creativity stat. He now only had 300 coins. He then clicked on the knowledge chart tab.

He saw a variety of skills. He counted it and there were ten of those skills. He looked and them and thought how cool it would be to get all of these. The skills available for buying were sketching, 3D modelling, animating, UI designing, FX designing, AI programming, game programming, level designing, network administrating and server management.

There were various skills and they were priced. All of them were basic skills and were priced at 1,000 dev coins each. He sighed as he looked at his measly 300 dev coins and got dispirited.

He clicked on the sketching option. It opened up and explained that this would provide user ability to draw and make sketches of things user imagines at intermediate level and anything explained by another person at expert level.

He then decided to wait for a few days and accumulate enough coins to get the sketching function to at least intermediate level. He had actually wanted to get the 3D modelling skill first but he picked sketching skill when he thought of how his first year of game designing would dedicate half the credits to the sketching subject.

He checked all of the to check if the price of later proficiencies were same or not. Just like he thought every proficiency in each skill cost about the same.

He then decides to wait for a few days. The days go by normally. But occasionally he would feel his heart ache. He would remember Pallavi. He would remember the first time he saw her. Those last moments… her smile… it would make his heart ache and he would remember about that guy.

He would calm down after thinking how he might be getting tortured right now…

Six days after the day he contacted the contract killer, he got a call.

Shuvam quickly opened his laptop and sent the $50,000 to the killer's deep web account.

The call ended. He quickly opened his mail and looked at the video.

There was a smile on Shuvam's face and tears rolled down his face as he looked at the guy getting tortured. Every hour one if his fingers or toes were cut off. He was given medication to stop the bleeding but not the pain. His tongue was than cut off. Eventually his eyes pulled out. His hand was then severed, then came the legs. His balls and dick cut off one by one. Finally his head was decapitated.

It was a bloody and violent scene that could make people vomit once they looked at it but Shuvam was not in least bit affected by it. He watched the whole without batting his eyelids even for once. He had a solemn expression and tears rolled down his face.

Right now, he was happy. He had finally taken revenge. But still it would be better to just get her back than have revenge. After all, it didn't change anything. She is still not by my side.

He sighed heavily and went to bed. It was 6 pm but he still went to bed and slept. Later at about 9:00, Supriya woke him up. They had dinner. Supriya noticed his depressed mood. She wanted to ask what happened but no words could come out of her mouth.

Shuvam went back to his room and slept. Next day, he remembered that he had accumulated about 30,000 coins in this span of 5 days. Due to the features of the games and low specs the game was being played by many. It was only few hundred thousand people away from hitting the mark of 5 million.

Shuvam, then decided to rent 200 TB of more space and paid it with his deep web account. His deep web account current had over half a million dollars.

Shuvam then went to the knowledge chart tab on the interface and bought the basic proficiency of sketching knowledge. His head hurt. Since the system was using some magical way to directly engrave the knowledge on sketching on his mind, he felt a splitting headache and felt like his head was gonna burst.

" User, you should buy the novice and intermediate proficiencies while the headache is lasting or later you wouldn't have the guts to do it. "

Shuvam clenched his teeth and with great difficulty clicked the buy option of the novice proficiency sketching skill. The headache started to get stronger and the pain increased.

He remembered Andy's words and once again clicked the buy option. His head felt like blowing up and he rolled on the ground after falling from the chair. The pain was intense but he still had to try his best to nat make noises. He endured.

After a minute that felt like an eternity to Shuvam, the pain subsided and his head was filled with knowledge on how to draw. He quickly took out his sketch he had bought some time ago and started sketching. He tried to draw Pallavi. He just imagined that smile of hers and started sketching.

It took about five minutes and he had drawn a ditto picture of pallavi. It was really life-like and he cried as he looked at the picture. He put the book close to his chest and lied on the sofa while sobbing.

He just spent 16,000 dev coins for this knowledge. He then ordered Andy to buy basic proficiency of each and every skill. The headache was like what he experienced at first and pretty manageable. He looked at the picture in his hands while clenching his teeth and enduring the pain.

He then once again increased one point of creativity and spent the 30,000 dev coins he had save these few days.

Shuvam thought that currently this game was enough for him to get good income of money and dev coins. He decided to make his dev coins after a few months.

Shuvam then shut the computer down and went to his room with the sketchbook in his embrace. He quickly began practicing making sketches. He had about 9 days before college so he just decided to use this time to sketch. He was listening to songs while drawing while lying on the bed while various people were staring at the computers with red sleepy eyes. It seemed as if they hadn't slept for a day or two. They were none other than the directors and staffs of various game development companies…..
