For the following days, Katherine kept herself busy meeting Mzukwa and Fanpaya clan. Just like the Raeb clan, Katherine was warmly welcomed by them.

"Kath!" Amber excitedly ran towards her friend after not seeing her for days. Dawn, Thana, Amdis, and the boys were behind her. "We missed you." Amber said hugging Katherine. "I missed you too." Katherine said. Her other friends did the same but when the boys tried to hug her too, Drake pulled her away from them.

"Selfish knobhead!" Athan said making the rest laughed.

"How was your visit?" Dawn asked. "It was great! They were all welcoming. The kids were funny. I enjoyed playing with them." Katherine said. "What about gorgeous hunks?" Thana asked making Drake raised his brow. "No one will beat my Draky." Katherine said looking at her mate. Drake looked at her too. "Eeewww, stop that!" Amdis said making the rest giggled. Suddenly, an ear-piercing sound echoed throughout the place making all of them covered their ears because of the pain running throughout their bodies.

"What...is...happening...?" Athan said with difficulty in speaking. "It's...the...sound..." Alaric said trying to stand but failed. "It's...too...painful..." Blake said who was already lying on the floor. "I...think...my...head...gonna...burst..." Kieran said.

Finally the sound stopped. "Are you alright?" Drake said helping Katherine stand on her feet. "Yeah. Is everyone okay?" Katherine asked her friends. "Yeah, still alive and kicking." Amber said shaking her head. "What was that?" Dawn asked sitting weakly on the couch. "It's like..." Thana was interrupted by Serafino. "A silver whistle." He said making all looked at him. "Silver whistle?" Amdis asked curiosly.

"Milord!" Vladamir said when Serafino fell on his knees and became more worried when he saw the blood on Serafino's ears. "I'm okay, follow them." Serafino said. "But Milord..." Vladamir said. "My granddaughter is more important than me Vlad. Protect her at all cost." Serafino said. Vladamir laid his Elder on the couch and call the other guards to protect their leader then, he followed Katherine.

"Hello, princess!" Katherine saw a man standing at the center of the arena. Even without asking, Katherine knew who is the man through his scent but there is another scent but it's too far from her. "Travis was right, you are something." The man said. "What do you want?" Katherine finally spoke after studying the man infront of her. "Oh, nothing. My elder brother just want to pay you a visit. After Travis told us about you, we had this urge to see you." The man said. "I think I have to go. Oh, before that, my brother has a message for you." The man said. "He will be waiting for you." The man said then winked at Katherine. Before she could attack the man and her friends could enter the arena, he blowed the whistle sending them to the ground again then, he vanished infront of them.

"Kath!?" Drake hurriedly approached her even he had difficulty in walking. "Are you okay?" Drake asked and she nodded. "Who's that?" Athan asked talking about the man. "He's Gregory and Travis' brother." Katherine answered. "What does he want?" Alaric asked. "I don't know." Katherine said. "How did he got in? The guards didn't noticed him?" Blade asked. "I think he got the chance because of the whistle." Kieran said. "I think we better tighten the security not only here but in all the clans." Amber suggested. "Yeah, we need to be more vigilant." Dawn said. "The problem is, how are going to avoid that annoying sound?" Thana asked. "Yeah, even if the guards secure the area 24/7, how will they protect themselves from that whistle. All of them fell in deep thoughts.

"Katherine!?" Vladamir called their attention. "It's the Elder." Vladamir said and in an instant, they all disappeared.

"What happened to him?" Katherine asked while looking at her grandfather who is lying on his bed. "His body is starting to weaken." Vladamir said. "What are you saying? He's is the Elder. He is the strongest amongst us." Katherine said trying to really believe what she said. "Kath, I believe he should be the one to tell you everything. I promised him that nobody should know about what happened to him. Let's wait for him to wake up." Vladamir said and Katherine nodded.

"Go to your room. I'll wake you up when he regain his consciouness." Drake said but Katherine shaked her head for a NO answer. It's been two days and Serafino is still lying on his bed. "You should rest, Kath. Paps will not be happy when he wakes up and see your appearance. You look like a mess." Amber said wanting to lighten up the mood. "Kath, eat then rest. We will be here and once he opens his eyes, we will call you immediately." Dawn said. "Come on." Drake said helping Katherine stand from her seat. "Go." Thana said. Drake accompanied Katherine going into her room.

"Drake..." Katherine said. They were already inside her room lying on her bed. After eating, she took a shower and Drake asked her to sleep with him for a couple of hours. "Hhhmmm..." Drake answered while stroking her back. "Paps will be okay, right?" Katherine asked. "Yes, he will be." Drake answered. "Go to sleep." Drake continued. "Stay here until I wake up." Katherine said and Drake nodded then give her a kiss on her head. After a while, Drake felt that Katherine already fell asleep.
