She's asleep in her bed so sound asleep

You touch her face softly

Her eyes flutter open

She is lost in your trance

You scratch her wrist

And the blood starts to escape

Your mouth touches her wrist

And the taste makes you tremble with lust

You know this is wrong,

But you can't stop

The blood comes faster,

She moans for you to stop,

But you keep going

She screams as the last drops

Of her scarlet blood go down your throat

You are angered by killing the girl you love

The Scarlet Seduction is now complete

And your dead lover shall forever sleep.

Drake can't sleep. Katherine can't sleep. Twist and turn, that's they were doing since they laid their bodies on their beds. "Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh...!!!" They both said. Katherine looked on her clock. "3 am!?" She sighed deeply. She decided to stand up. "I guess I need a run." She said to herself so she changed her clothes and then went outside.

Drake and Katherine opened their room's doors at the same time. They gazed at each other then, both turned into different directions.

It's already breakfast when the two returned from their run. Their friends are looking at each other when the two sat on their respective chairs. Serafino cleared his throat that brought all their attentions to him. "Lazarus asked for your presence, Drake. A woman came to your kingdom and she needs your approval about something." Serafino said. Katherine stiffened a little hearing a woman is looking for her mate. "I'll go there after breakfast." Drake said with a serious tone. "Katherine will go with you." Serafino said making his granddaughter looked at him with narrowed eyes. "Lazarus told me that you should be familiar with each of the clans and theirs comes first. You will visit the other two kingdoms in the next few days." Serafino said. "But..." Katherine said. "Okay, we'll go there after breakfast." Drake interrupted her making her glared at him. "I'll bring my car." Katherine said. "No!" Serafino and Drake spoke at once. "I will bring my car!" Katherine said with firmness. "And I said NO!" Drake said with firmness too. Again, they looked at each other with narrowed eyes making Serafino rolled his eyes while the rest giggled.

At the end, Drake won. He brought his car and Katherine was fuming siting on the passenger seat, Hunter is at the back seat. Serafino insisted them to bring Hunter with them. At first it should be Vladamir but because of Drake's squinted eyes towards him, he voluntarily back out telling an excuse. The rest can't come because they will still be helping Celeste and the rest in building their houses.

The entire ride was quite. Even Hunter felt the tension between the two so he just sat at the back silently.

"Katherine, welcome to our humble kingdom." Lazarus warmly welcomed her. After giving her a hug, he gave his son a nod then, looked at the wolf beside Katherine. "Hunter, how are you?" Lazarus said and the wolf answered him with a bark. "Welcome, Prin... Kath." Cassius said making Katherine smiled. "Thank you, Cassius." Katherine said sweetly making Drake raised his brow. "Let's get inside and meet the rest." Lazarus said and they all went inside.

"Drake!?" An excited female voice echoed inside and then, suddenly a beautiful woman came out and hurriedly embraced Drake making Katherine raised a brow. Lazarus and Cassius looked at each other then grinned.

"Lenora? What are you doing here?" Drake asked pushing the woman away from him. Eventhough, they had a misunderstanding, he doesn't want to add another reason for Katherine to get angrier with him. "I've missed you so here I am!" Lenora said. "Don't you miss me?" Lenora continued.

"Cassius, would you mind going out with me and meet the others?" Katherine said making Cassius cough because he saw how Drake looked at him. "Oh, who is she Cassius, your girlfriend?" Lenora asked making Cassius cough more. "Hi, I'm Katherine!" Katherine said and offered a handshake. "Hi, I'm Lenora. Drake's...special friend." Lenora said and received Katherine's hand. "Really?" Katherine said and Lenora saw her eyes and felt that Katherine's grip tightened. Drake felt that there's something amiss going on and he will Lenora about that later.

"Ouch! Ouch!" Lenora said that brought back Katherine into her senses. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just strong, you know." Katherine said that made the three men smiled. "Let's go, Cassius!" Katherine said without waiting for the man's reply. Cassius followed Katherine and looked at Drake apologetically.

"Did her eyes turned gold?" Lenora asked. "Who is she?" Lenora continued. "She's our soon-to-be queen." Lazarus answered. "Oh my gosh! Why didn't you tell me? Uncle Lazarus, she'll kill me!" Lenora said making the two men laughed.

Katherine and Cassius busied themselves in meeting the Lazarus' clan. They welcomed Katherine warmly. They even offered her gifts which she politely declined telling them that she wasn't there for the gifts but instead, she was there because of them. She played with the kids together with Hunter. Her laughters were music to Drake's ears. Her smiles are his happiness.

"Why don't you apologize to her?" Lenora asked. They were sitting on a bench not far from Cassius and Katherine. "So Father already told you? And my hunch is correct. This meeting is a set up." Drake said making Lenora giggled. "It's her fault." Drake said. "Ouch!" He said after receiving a hit on the back of his head. "She's doing what she thought is good for our clan, dear cousin." Lenora said. "But what she did was dangerous." Another hit to his head. "Lenora!?" Drake said making her giggled. "I like her already because she can deal with your stubbornness." Lenora said making Drake rolled his eyes.

When Katherine turned to look who shouted, her eyes squinted seeing Drake and Lenora are laughing. It make her blood boiled. Cassius is silently smiling because of her jealousy. That was the plan, to make her jealous so that the two will reconcile. Serafino told Lazarus about what happened between the two. It was a blessing in disguise that Lenora is really coming over so when his niece arrived, he told her everything and the plan.

"Cassius, I know this is too much but...can you please send me home before I could do something that will hurt someone." Katherine said while looking angrily at Drake. "But Lord Lazarus asked Serafino for you to stay here in two days. Tomorrow we will be having a feast for everyone because you're here." Cassius said making Katherine sighed. "Just show me my room, I want to rest." Katherine said but the truth is she don't want to see Drake and Lenora. "Okay, follow me." Cassius said.

After bidding goodbye to the kids and promised them that after taking a nap, she will return and play with them again, they went inside.

"Here's your room." Cassius said. "Thank you, Cassius." Katherine said. "I will come back for dinner." Cassius said and she nodded. After Cassius left her, she laid on the bed. "He's a jerk! He's an asshole! I hate you, Drake!" She shouted against the pillow and after a few more cursing, she felt a little calmer.

"Where is she?" Drake asked seeing Cassius talking with Lazarus. "In your room." Cassius answered. "She wanted to go home but I told her that there'll be a feast tomorrow. Better talk to her before anything goes wrong." Cassius said looking at Lenora. "She will really kill me. Uncle Lazarus!?" Lenora said making her Uncle laughed. "Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay." Lazarus said. "Son, we did our share. Go and be a man!" Lazarus said. Drake nodded and walked towards his room.

Katherine fell asleep. When Drake entered his room, he smiled seeing his mate peacefully sleeping on his bed. He slowly and quitely laid beside her. He put her arms around her and automatically, she burried herself on his embrace making Drake chuckled. After a few minutes, Drake also fell into deep slumber.
