"How was he?" Drake asked talking to Athan and Alaric about Gregory. "He's good, really good. If he's only with our side, he could be one of us." Athan said. "His fighting skills were the same with us but he still needs more control over himself especially when it comes to his attitude. He's short tempered." Alaric said. "What do you think, can he win against Kath?" Blade asked looking at Drake. "With Kath's powers, we all knew what will be the outcome on tomorrow's duel." Kieran said making Drake sighed. "What's with that?" Athan asked curiosly. "Just make yourselves ready for tomorrow. Kath had her difficulties in controlling her powers." Drake said. "Yeah, if you only saw what she have done with her friends a while ago, you would say good luck to Gregory tomorrow." Blade said making Athan and Alaric furrowed their foreheads. "They were badly wounded and with broken bones. Thanks to their training under Paps because if not, they are probably dead now. And of course, her calming pill did the magic." Kieran said with a teasing tone looking at Drake. "Calming pill?" Athan asked. "Yeah, our prince here is her calming pill." Blade said putting his arms on Drake's shoulders. "Yeah, yeah, his magical voice brought back Katherine to our present world." Kieran said. "Really? I'm excited to see that calming pill tomorrow." Athan said with a grin making Drake smiled but deep inside him, he's hoping he will not use that magic tomorrow.

"I hate you!" Amber said but only faking her anger. "I'm really sorry. It's really unintentional, Ambs. Please, forgive me." Katherine said with teary eyes. Her friends were all lying in bed with bandages on their bodies. "If only you control yourself, this will not happen." Dawn said with a serious tone but just like Amber, she's only faking it. "I'm really sorry." Katherine said lowering her head because her tears began to fall. Thana and Amdis looked at Amber and Dawn with an angry squint. They only planned to prank Katherine but seeing her crying, they became guilty.

"Hey, don't cry. We're okay and the thing you did to us a while ago was not your fault." Thana said while stroking Katherine's hair. "I'm really sorry. I don't want to hurt anybody, most especially you guys. Its just that, I really can't control myself." Katherine said while sobbing. "It's okay, Kath. We'll be fine tomorrow. You should take your rest for tomorrow's fight." Amdis said. "I will stay here and take care of you." Katherine said wiping her tears. "The doctors and the nurses will attend to our needs. Go to your room and rest." Thana said but Katherine shaked her head for a NO answer. "Don't be a hard headed one, Kath." Amber said making Katherine looked at her. "Am I forgiven?" Katherine asked with a sad face making Amber rolled her eyes. "I will never get angry with you, Kath. We only planned to play a trick on you." Amber said and she thought Katherine will laugh but, her friend suddenly cry again. "Hey!" Amber immediately approached Katherine. "Ssshhh, sorry, stop crying." Amber said patting Katherine's back. "I told you that was a bad idea." Thana said sitting beside Katherine. "Sorry, sorry, stop crying." Amber said.

"What happened here?" Drake said making the rest of the girls looked at the entrance of the infirmary. The boys decided to visit the girls before going to bed. "We made her cry. It's only a prank but she took it seriously." Thana said. Drake walked towards Katherine. "Baby, what's the matter?" Drake said guiding his mate to stand then, he embraced her. When Katherine felt Drake's body, she calmed.

"I really hated myself a while ago. I have hurt them. What if I killed one of them? I will not forgive myself, never." Katherine said still sobbing. "Don't worry about that. We will find ways on how you will master your powers." Drake said. "Besides, you still have me, your claming pill." Drake continued with a smile on his face. Katherine looked at Drake and tiptoed to give him a peck on his lips. "Ehem, excuse me, will you please stop showing PDA in here." Amber said making the rest laughed.

"Sorry, Ambs. Sorry, Dawn. Sorry, Than. Sorry, Amdis." Katherine said looking at her friends. "Come here." Amber said then, hugged her friend tightly. Dawn, Thana, and Amdis approached the two and had a group hug. "Group hug!" Athan shout and started walking towards the girls but to his dismay, he was stopped on his tracks by Drake. "That's unfair." Athan said pouting his lips. The rest of the boys smiled on Athan's reaction.

"Are you okay now?" Drake said asking Katherine. They were both standing infront of Katherine's door. "Yes, thank you." Katherine said. "Are you ready for tomorrow?" Drake asked. "If you're not, I can fight him." Drake continued. "Yes, I am. Now, that I have my calming pill here and my friends' support, I will be ready for him. Maybe, tomorrow will be the start of my learning on how to take over my powers." Katherine said. "That's good to know that I will be a great help." Drake said smiling. "Ahm, so, good night?" Drake asked. "Yeah, good night, Drake." Katherine said and faced her door but before she could open it, she felt Drake's arms encircling her into a back hug. "Five minutes more?" Drake asked making Katherine giggled. They stayed there for a while then a clearing of throat was heard by the two of them making them separate immediately.

"Paps, what are you doing here?" Katherine asked nervously seeing her grandfather looking at them with furrowed forehead. "Care to explain what I saw, Drake?" Serafino asked. "Ahm...P...Paps...I mean...Milord..." Drake said stuttering. Serafino wanted to burst out laughing but he controlled it. Drake blew air and looked at Serafino seriously. "Katherine already knew that we were mates. The hug you saw was a public display of affection because I can't help myself not to be close to her. I can't promise that it will never happen again because your granddaughter is really damn hot and sexy. I dreamed of her every night. Everyday was a torture not being beside her and when she finally knew that we're bound to be together, I will not waste any second, any minute, any hour, even days not showing how I treasured her." Katherine was in dazed hearing all Drake's words. Serafino was also in shocked hearing Drake's continuous talking or should he say explaining just a simple hug.

"That's really a long explanation. You could only say that Katherine already knew that you were mates and that will explain everything." Serafino said with a smile on his face. "Well, I guess I'll take my leave so you could finish what you're doing. Goodnight to both of you." Serafino said and walked away with a grin on his face.

Drake sighed and Katherine giggled. "Am I really damn hot and sexy?" Katherine asked with a teasing tone. "Yes, baby." Drake answered making Katherine blushed with the way Drake looked at her. "Five minutes over! Sleep, both of you!" Serafino mind link the two making them laughed.
