Everyone sat on the round table and waited for Drake and Katherine to arrive at the dining hall. They were busy chatting with each other about this and that. The place was engulfed with silence and shocked when they saw Drake carrying Katherine bridal style, Amber looked at them with a meaningful smile on her face.

"S..she c...can't walk because of, because she's tired." Drake said wanting to slap himself for stuttering on his words. Serafino smiled and the rest gave them teasing looks. "You don't have to explain and don't be nervous. It doesn't suit you." Athan said with a grin. Drake looked at him with narrowed eyes but Athan only shrugged his shoulders. The servers placed the dishes on the table and they started digging in.

"How's your training, dear?" Serafino asked looking at Katherine whose sitting beside him. "Tiring but I enjoyed it." Katherine said without realizing what she have said. "Enjoyed it? Really?" Dawn asked with a teasing tone. "When you were training with us, you never told Paps that you enjoyed it but now that you're doing it with Drake, you're enjoying it?" Thana said making Katherine rolled her eyes because she can see that Thana is teasing her. "What I mean is that..." Katherine was cut off by Amdis. "You're blushing, Kath. Why?" Amdis said. "I know, I know." Amber said but wasn't able to continue because Drake and Katherine looked at her with their narrowed eyes. "What is it, Amber?" Alaric asked. "Oh , no, nothing really. Just had a peek of a mere..." Amber said then, giggled. "Amber!" Katherine said with a warning. "What?" Amber asked faking her innocence. "Enough!" Drake said and everyone became silent. Serafino smiled because he knew something happened between the two and he can see that her granddaughter and Drake are guilty as charged.

They had finished their dinner in silence. Katherine was carried again by Drake towards her room. She was hesistant at first, but Drake insisted leaving the rest smiling widely before going to their respective rooms.

"Please put me down." Katherine said while they were already at her door. "Open it." Drake said pretending not to hear what she said. "But..." Katherine said. "No buts, open it before I decide to let your ass hit the floor." Drake said. Katherine opened her door then, Drake carefully place her on the bed. "Thank you. You can leave me now." Katherine said but to her dismay, Drake is not moving but he's looking around her room. Checking the windows, her closet, even the washroom. "What are you doing?" Katherine asked feeling a little irritation on what he's doing. Drake didn't answer her question but instead, he looked at her making Katherine felt a little shiver not with fear but with something else. She cleared her throat making Drake withdraw his intense gaze on Katherine.

"Tomorrow will try your speed. Better sleep early because we'll leave at exactly 3 am." Drake said making Katherine raised her brow. "That early?" Katherine asked. "Yes." Drake answered while walking towards the door. "Drake..." Katherine said and he stiffened a little because hearing his name from her mouth is really bewitching. He looked back and he wanted to go back inside and taste Katherine's lips right there and then. He wanted to strangle Amber's neck a while for coming at the right place but at the wrong timing. "Thank you." Katherine said with a smile. Drake was in awe seeing Katherine's smile but he stopped himself from drooling. "You're welcome, my Princess." Drake said stepping outside and closing the door.

Katherine should be angry because Drake called her princess but she was not angry at all. Hearing Princess from his own mouth made her heart skipped a beat. "What is happening to me?" Katherine asked herself. She remembered the moment when their faces were so close enough for a kiss. She's been waiting for Drake to kiss her but suddenly, Amber ruined the moment and made her really dissapointed. When Drake was looking at her a while ago, she wanted to stand and kiss him but she stopped herself from doing so because she's a girl and kissing a man first is really embarassing for a girl like her. "I must be really tired thinking of this nonsense." Katherine said before going inside the bath and then, took a shower before falling into deep slumber.
