JAYB's POV

"Everything alright, Byeongho-hyung?" I asked my manager who was sitting beside me.

Nine days flew past like it didn't exist at all. There were a lot of things that happened. After our concert in Tokyo, we went straight to Osaka for the next stop in our tour. Many of our fans from Tokyo also went to Osaka to watch the concert again. To think that they were already giving it their all when we had our concert in Tokyo. Who knew that they still wanted more? It was one of those concerts that got sold out. Not only that, but it was just so touching to hear everyone in that stadium sing. I could hear it through my IEM. Japan was just memorable.

Thailand was up next, and boy did we have fun. Not only was the concert a great experience for us, but the welcoming entourage and the things we did during our days off were just crazy. It was all because of Matt-hyung. Besides, the heir to the throne of Thailand hasn't been home for a long time now. Being there, he definitely was greeted like the King-to-be that he is. Because of that, news of him being the heir spread rapidly. They couldn't believe that someone who was about to become King would be in the KPOP industry as an artist. If this was in the previous world, Matt-hyung would have been boycotted. Here, it was widely supported as long as when the time for the current King would finally step down, Matt-hyung had to quit being an idol and go back to serve his country. Which was totally fine since the current King of Thailand was still alive and very much healthy.

After our stop over in Thailand was Malaysia. Here we were also welcomed by loving fans. The venue that we were performing in was just as conservative as Singapore was. Thankfully, certain issues were resolved before we even arrived in the country. Our recon and scouting team went ahead to deal with the matters. Because of them, our schedules and other matters pertaining to the concert were fixed and were executed perfectly. Hence, Malaysia became one of the stopovers that we had where we had to stay for about a week to relax. Well, my members were out relaxing, but I was on a plane heading for Jeju Island to film our honeymoon episode.

"I'm fine, JayB-ssi." He replied, but I could tell that he was having a hard time breathing. He was already sick before we boarded the plane.

I went to touch his forehead. "My God, hyung. You're burning up! You're obviously not okay!"

He gave me a thumbs as he tried to muster up a smile. "I told you… I-I'm…"

Before he could finish his sentence, he collapsed on my shoulder. "Byeongho-hyung! Byeongho-hyung!" I quickly pressed the button to call the attention of one of the flight attendants. A few seconds later, a stewardess came and asked what I needed. I responded with haste. "My companion just collapsed. He's running a fever. Can you please ask if there are any doctors on board?"

"Yes, sir. Understood." Without any delay, the stewardess immediately went to the nearest on-flight mobile phone and called for help.

A few minutes later, a person came rushing in the first-class section. He approached the stewardess first before the stewardess introduced her to us. "Mr. Kim, this is the doctor that you requested."

I took out my hand and introduced myself. "Hello, Doctor. My name's Kim Jinbo."

He smiled before taking my hand. "Dr. Danny Smith. Tell me. What seems to be the problem?"

"My friend is having a fever. He passed out about 2 minutes ago." as I was explaining, Dr. Smith was already checking him up.

After a few tests, he concluded his diagnosis. "Based on what I observed, his temperature is very high. But there seems to be nothing wrong with his lungs and heart. It's either viral or there's something wrong with him that needs immediate attention. But I can't say for certain what it is without running some more tests. But I already injected a fever reducing serum."

"I'm fine… JayB-ssi." Byeongho-hyung suddenly tried to whisper.

Seeing that the patient was conscious, Dr. Smith quickly sprang into action. "Sir, do you feel any pain right now?"

I translated for both of them. Sadly, Byeongho-hyung was being stubborn. It wasn't until Dr. Smith started pressing and examining Byeongho-hyung's abdomen that he stopped being stubborn and started yelling in pain. Dr. Smith noticed that his abdomen was swelling abnormally and he examined it.

Dr. Smith removed his stethoscope and sighed heavily. "Mr. Kim… Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure." I responded before we headed somewhere more private to talk.

He then turned to me with a serious expression on his face. "Mr. Kim, I won't mince my words so I'll get to the point. Your companion has appendicitis and is in need of immediate medical attention. He needs to be operated on as soon as possible."

My eyes widened in surprise. "We still have about 30 minutes before the plane lands. Will that be enough?"

Dr. Smith shook his head. "I'm afraid it would be too late by then."

I ran my fingers through my hair as a million thoughts raced through my head. "Is there anything else you can do for now?"

"Well… there is one thing… But it's never been done before. I've only written it in theory for now." He responded as he bit his lip.

"Are you saying that it's your thesis?" I asked as I narrowed my eyes at him.

"I'm saying that either way your manager is going to die if we don't do anything." He responded with resolution.

I contemplated on it for a while. "Let me talk to him for a while."

He nodded in affirmation. "You have to be quick. He doesn't have long before it bursts."

With haste, I went to Byeongho-hyung and told him about his situation. As of now, he wasn't being stubborn and was asking me to help him. He also said to do whatever it takes to stop the pain. He then told me that I can have him operated if that's what it took to save him. That basically gives me the go signal to let the Doctor have his way with Byeongho-hyung just to save him. At this point, Dr. Smith is my only option. Even if I do not trust him completely, he's the only one we've got for now.

After getting the patient's consent, I quickly went to find Dr. Smith. When I finally did, I gave him one line. "Please, save him."

Dr. Smith nodded in response. "Let me explain the procedure and the process. In short, we won't be opening him up. After injecting him with anesthesia using the serum injector to control it, the patient will then be unconscious and won't feel any sensation. I will then use a holographic body scanner to locate his appendix. I'll then inject it with the liquid nitrogen serum that I developed, spontaneously freezing it. Once it's solid enough, I'll start applying the thermal serum that I also developed to melt it completely. It's impossible to just melt it completely without freezing the pus since it'll melt the appendix and the other organs around it. That's basically the entire procedure."

"What would be the possible complications?" I asked.

He sighed. "There are two actually. First, I have to control the serum injection manually in order to know when to stop injecting the liquid nitrogen. Otherwise, it'll freeze the surrounding tissues and/or organs, possibly permanently damaging it. The second danger would be the thermal serum. If I won't be careful, the serum might leak out of the frozen pus and would destroy the surrounding organs."

I gave a small nod. "It's better than doing nothing. Do what you have to do."

He nodded before he gave a bunch of orders. "Miss Stewardess, please ask if there are nurses on board who can help me with the emergency operation. Mister Steward, please get the oxygen tank and mask. Also, make sure to bring along your holographic body scanners. I'll need that for the operation. Mr. Kim, can you go with one of the stewards to where the baggage are, my medical equipment is there. It's in a brown hard cased duffel bag. It has my name tag on it so you can't miss it. The other stewards, please help me move the patient to the cabin crew's area. Let's move it."

Without saying anything else, we quickly did as we were told. The stewardess assigned to find some nurses actually found three of them who also helped with the preparation. I also found the duffel bag and brought it to the cabin crew. After all the preparations, the crew made sure that no one would interrupt the operation.

"This is actually crazy! We don't have an anesthesiologist to inject the anesthesia! How are we going to make this work?" One of the nurses said.

Dr. Smith glared at him. "I'll take responsibility for whatever happens. The patient already gave us the go signal to save his life whatever the cost. If you are not comfortable, or not willing to help out, you may leave now. We won't treat you like a traitor if you do. But if you do stay, then you'll be one of the first people to experience this kind of operation first-hand."

No one dared to leave the cabin. They all nodded in agreement before Dr. Danny gave them a resolute look. "We will now commence Cryogenic Appendectomy for patient Choi Byeongho."

The nurses were looking at Dr. Smith with confused looks. He must have understood why they were looking at him like that. "I know what you are thinking. You haven't heard of this type of operation yet. Well that's because it isn't finalized yet and is still in theory. It's still on paper for now. But if this works, your names will forever be engraved in history."

"If it doesn't, it'll still be engraved in history. Just on the wrong side of it." Another nurse remarked.

Dr. Smith chuckled. "Don't worry. I've never given up on any patient nor have I failed any of them yet."

One of the nurses gasped. "No way… You can't be…"

Dr. Smith winked at her. "Let's begin. Injecting propofol…"

It was just amazing to watch. I've never watched a live operation before. Now that I did, I was just standing right there while being stunned by the entire process. Dr. Smith looked like he was Dominic as he operated on Byeongho-hyung. From start to end, there were no mishaps whatsoever. It was flawless. Soon, the operation was finished and the plane landed in Jeju Island. Byeongho-hyung was then rushed to the hospital for some further tests. He might be staying in the ICU for a while. After we landed I went to find Dr. Smith to thank him. He looked really exhausted as he sat in one of the chairs in the airport while being surrounded by the nurses who helped him earlier.

"I still can't believe that operation was successful! You were amazing Dr. Smith!" One of the male nurses said.

Dr. Smith chuckled. "Thank you. I couldn't have done it without your help."

"Oh come on. doc! You're being too modest! Because of you, we got to be part of history. You were like a god when you operated earlier. Your speed was just unmatched as well!" Another nurse remarked.

"Are you sure we won't get in trouble though? We did just do an operation that was just based on theory." The last nurse said.

"Don't worry. I've already called my mentor about it and he was actually happy to hear about it. He said that he'd help us if there were any complications." Dr. Smith said.

The male nurse's eyes grew wide. "I knew it! I knew it was you! You're-"

"Excuse me? Dr. Smith?" I butted in their conversation.

Dr. Smith turned to me and smiled. "Ah, Mr. Kim. Can I help you with something?"

"Is it okay if I'd borrow you for a sec?" I asked him. He happily obliged and followed me to some place where we could talk. "Thank you so much again for saving my manager's life. I really owe you big time."

He waved it off. "No no no! It was my p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. After all, what's a doctor if he can't save lives, right?"

"It was a pretty risky move though." I chuckled.

"Indeed it was." He laughed.

I then pulled out my business card and gave it to him. "Like I said, I owe you one. If you need any help. Anything at all. You call me."

"I will... Mr. JayB, business prodigy and one of South Korea's hottest superstars." He joked.

"How did you know?" I asked him how he found out when I was wearing my disguise the whole time.

"Because I've seen you before when you came to visit our hospital years ago. My mentor introduced you to me. Don't you remember?" He smiled at me as if it was obvious.

"Mentor? What… Who are you?" I was curious now more than ever.

He laughed out loudly before composing himself. "I knew you'd forget. Allow me to introduce myself again. I'm Danny Smith, one of Dr. Dominic Cane's apprentices from Malaysia."

________

"You looked exhausted. Everything alright?" Dahyun asked as soon as she saw me walk out of the arrival area.

After processing some stuff for my manager's stay in the hospital, I finally got out of the airport's admin office and met with Dahyun in the arrival area. Director Youra and the rest of the We Got Married crew were waiting for me. There was plenty of security this time to make sure that the incident in Hong Kong won't happen again. Even JYP Entertainment sent its own bodyguards for me. I guess they're finally taking things seriously this time.

"Sorry, princess. I AM really happy to see you, but some stuff happened on the plane that nearly took the life out of me." I smiled wryly.

Dahyun then reached for my forehead. "You're temperature's normal though. So what happened?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." I chuckled.

She returned a chuckle of her own. "With you beside me, I believe the impossible becomes possible."

"That's true though." I replied as I got her luggage from her.

"Hey guys! You're finally here! You have no idea how much I've missed you both!" Youra-noona came to greet us with a tight hug.

"We missed you too, unnie." Dahyun giggled.

"Anyway, what took you so long JayB-ya?" Youra-noona asked.

I gave her a wry smile. "I'll tell you guys later. Right now, we should leave before we get flocked by our fans."

Youra-noona nodded in agreement. "Good idea. We'll start filming as soon as you get out of the airport. Let's just assume that you both arrived at the same time. The car that we rented for you is outside. We've already installed the cameras on it so all you have to do is drive to the hotel. You told us that you have a car here. But a Mercedes-Benz wouldn't look normal in a We Got Married show. Your hotel is already beyond extravagant."

"Whatever you say, noona. I just hope that everything goes well this time." I shrugged.

She chuckled in response. "It will. We made sure of it. Oh, we'll be filming officially tomorrow so you guys can take the rest of the afternoon off. So please, talk a lot in the car. About the plans and all. We'll make it happen."

Dahyun gave me a light tug with a huge smile on her face. "Shall we?"

We soon departed from the airport and started making our way to the hotel. While I was driving, Dahyun was busy sharing her experience during their Asian tour. Dahyun told me that she met my reporter friend in the Philippines before she boarded her plane for Jeju Island. She said that she heard great things about me from him. I have to thank Nieman when I get to call him later on.

"So what do you want to do on this trip?" I asked her. This was actually part of the script.

She hummed for a while as she pondered on what to do. "How about you? Do you have something in mind? You planned this trip after all."

I chuckled lightly. "How about a noraebang (karaoke/singing) battle? If I win, you have to grant me a wish. If you win, I'll grant you a wish."

Dahyun turned to me and glared at me. "Are you kidding me? You're obviously better at singing than me. How am I supposed to beat you with that?"

"Oh come on, princess. You're good at singing too. You even did covers for-" She then started covering my mouth to stop me from taking.

"Alright! Alright! We'll do a noraebang battle! Anything else?" She asked.

I pondered before answering. "How about parasailing?"

"You're kidding, right? Please tell me you're kidding." She started chuckling as if she's waiting for me to say that I was joking around.

"No, I'm serious. I wanna try parasailing with you." I shook my head.

She rolled her tongue inside her cheek. "Are you trying to kill me? You KNOW I'm afraid of heights."

"Don't worry. If your cord snaps, you'll fall to the sea." I joked.

"YA!" She yelled.

"Alright! Alright! Let's not do parasailing." I was laughing madly right now. I could tell that she was really scared. Even just by thinking about it, it was giving her the goosebumps.

"Do you REALLY wanna try parasailing?" She asked in almost a whisper tone.

I nodded. "Yes. But I won't let you do it if you don't want to. You can just ride the boat while you watch me do parasailing."

She nodded. "Alright. Let's do that. Maybe I'd change my mind if I watch you do it first."

"Okay. Fair enough. So what do you want to do?" It was my turn to ask her.

"Now that I think about it, since we're here in Jeju Island, we should go to that flower field." Dahyun suggested.

"Ooh. You mean the canola fields? That's actually a great idea. We can have our pictures taken there." I was becoming excited as well.

"Right? I'm getting excited just with the thought of it!" She started clapping excitedly.

"Me too." I chuckled at her reaction. "What else do you want to do?"

"Ah!" She reacted as if she had a great idea. "Why don't we have our noraebang battle tonight?"

I raised my eyebrow at her. "I thought you didn't want to have a noraebang battle with me."

"I changed my mind." She shrugged.

"Okay, okay. Let's do that then. What made you decide to have that tonight?" I asked.

She gave me a smile. "Well, if we're going to do a lot of things tomorrow, let's get noraebang battle out of the way."

"What do you mean?" I laughed.

Dahyun then started enumerating what she wanted to do tomorrow. "Let's see… we'll go to the canola fields first. Next we'll go parasailing…"

"Alright. And there's one more thing you want to do, right?" I asked.

She nodded. "That's right. I wanted to catch some crabs and grill them."

"Then let's bet a wish on it then. Let's see who gets to catch more crabs." I suggested excitedly.

"What's with you and all these bets?" She crossed her arms at me and asked.

I shrugged. "It makes the show interesting."

We both laughed it off as Dahyun agreed. "Fine. Let's do that then."

"Call." I replied.

Finally, we arrived in the hotel and checked in our luggage. We were sleeping in separate rooms again. We both decided to do that since we wanted to have plenty of rest. Dinner arrived quicker than it did as we spent the entire afternoon taking a nap. We were both physically exhausted not just because of the trip but from the tour as well. Letting each other rest is actually a good thing and we agreed on it when we first started this relationship. As we were having dinner, we told Youra-noona about our noraebang battle. She was surprised at first since she clearly told us that we'd start filming officially tomorrow. But nonetheless, she was happy to hear that we were willing to give more content for the show. The noraebang battle soon started, and boy did we have fun.

________

"I told you, that machine was rigged." I complained to her over breakfast.

Last night was a blast. At least for one of us. Dahyun completely shattered my dream of getting a wish from her. I don't know what happened but after singing a couple of songs as our warm-up, I was confident to get a higher score than her. Even Dahyun was worried because I was doing really well during the warm-up phase. We even had scenes where I was serenading her. It was a romantic atmosphere before we both became competitive all of a sudden. I chose one of our songs and she did the same with theirs. But to my surprise, I got a score of 82 while Dahyun scored 86. In the end, Dahyun won and I have to grant her a wish. She decided to use her wish at a later time. It makes me nervous though.

We were having breakfast in the hotel. The crew didn't film us while we were having our breakfast. Youra-noona only started filming the moment we were about to end our breakfast. This was so we could have some privacy all to ourselves, as well as give us some time to enjoy our food. We were, after all, going to film the entire day. We needed this meal more than anything else right now. Still, I was wasting my energy as I argued with Dahyun over what happened last night.

Dahyun stuck her tongue out at me. "Stop whining and get over it, loverboy. I beat you fair and square."

"Fine! Let's just get that out of the way. I'm just scared of what your wish might be." I admitted.

She laughed. "Don't worry. I won't let you do anything that'll embarrass you. I promise. I'll probably ask for a wish that'll benefit us both."

I sighed in surrender. "Fine. I know that you wouldn't lie to me anyway."

Dahyun gave me a small smile before she took my hand and held it. "Should we start our day?"

"Aren't we doing it right now?" I chuckled.

She rolled her eyes. "No, loverboy. I mean let's go and start our tour. For real."

"Let's go then." I replied.

"Cut! Great job you two!" Youra-noona yelled. She then went to approach us. "We'll leave in 15 minutes. We're just making sure that the car you're using has no problems. After that, you'll head for the canola fields. The rest of the crew will be following you with our vans. Drive safely. Okay?"

"Yes, noona." I smiled at her.

"Wow! You guys are really going all out just to prepare our day. You're even doing maintenance checks for the car." Dahyun giggled.

Youra-noona smiled wryly. "After the incident in Hong Kong, I became really cautious and wary about these things. It really traumatized me. You know that?"

I patted Youra-noona's shoulder. "If you're still feeling guilty about that. We don't blame you for it. And even if we did, we already forgave you for it. You really did your best noona. There's no need to beat yourself over it."

She smiled at us as tears started welling up on her face. "Look what you did... Thank you... both of you."

Dahyun gave her a side hug. "You know that we both love you, right?"

Youra-noona nodded as she cried. "I know."

"Well, I hate to break up the happy atmosphere, but we should probably go, we have a long day ahead." I commented.

"You have no heart…" Youra-noona joked.

"Indeed… I wonder how he can actually love like that." Dahyun went along with the joke.

I smiled wryly at them. "You two really enjoy picking on me, don't you?"

"Yup!" They both answered at the same time.

After the preparations and some final checks, Dahyun and I started making our way to the canola fields. It was a 20-minute drive from here. Today was perfect. I've always heard rumors that every time an episode was shot here from previous couples in the show, it would always rain. The weather today was perfect though. The sun was shining brightly and there were no storm clouds visible. It wasn't hot and it wasn't cold either. The wind was blowing just fine which meant that parasailing event was possible. We were seeing a lot of wide open fields which indicated that we were almost there. Everything was beautiful. The beach, the fields, the temperature, the weather, and even the person beside me.

"What? What are you looking at? Keep your eyes on the road." Dahyun suddenly voiced out.

I chuckled in response. "Sorry. I thought I saw something amazing just now."

"What was it?" She asked.

"You." I replied with a smirk.

She bit her lip as she slowly turned red. "YA!~ STOP THAT!~ You're making my fingers curl! Geez!"

"What? You're not just amazing but you're also very pretty." I continued

"Focus on driving, loverboy." Even though she sounded like she didn't care. Her face said otherwise.

"Oh I don't have to because we're already here." I told her as I parked the car.

Acres and acres of land filled with canola greeted us as soon as we got out of the car. Just being able to breathe this kind of air was very refreshing. I couldn't really smell any kind of pollution here, just fresh air. Looking at Dahyun being in awe of what she was seeing was very satisfying as well. As soon as we got out, she started taking photos of the place. I just watched her play around like a little kid.

Dahyun then turned to me. It was as if time had slowed down as she did so. She tucked her hair behind her ear. And even that looked pleasing to me. "What?"

"You're beautiful." the words escaped my lips which made her blush madly.

"W-Why don't we have our pictures taken then?" She suggested.

I gave her a smile as I went back to the car and got my camera and the tripod. "Let's take our photos using this."

"Wow! You came prepared!" Dahyun giggled.

"Of course! It's our honeymoon after all." I chuckled.

As soon as the WGM crew were able to prepare their equipment, we went out and looked for a place that had a good view with the perfect lighting and did all kinds of poses. We really took our time there as she was really enjoying the view. I didn't dare hurry her up since I was also enjoying a different kind of view. It was already our honeymoon, so there will probably be around 2 to 4 more episodes before our time in this show ends.

It would be harder to date outside since the number of fans that we had were growing by the day. I was savoring every last bit of time we had for this show. As soon as we filmed enough scenes in this location, Youra-noona suggested that we move to the next one. The crew were also preparing to leave, but Youra-noona was kind enough to let us have a few more moments here.

"Hubby! Come over here for a second." Dahyun called out which snapped me back to reality.

"What is it?" I went over to where she was. It was in the part where the flowers were growing on a cliff-side.

She then gave me a very cute look. "Which is prettier, the flowers or me?"

I bit my lower lip as I tried not to laugh or cringe at what she did. "I'm prettier of course."

Dahyun started glaring at me. "You really know how to kill the mood, don't you?"

"Alright alright. You're prettier." I tried to console her while trying to hug her.

"Don't. It's too late for that now." She took a step back while avoiding my touch. But to my horror, she started falling backwards which made me realize that she lost her footing and was now falling off the cliff.

"Kim Dahyun!" I yelled out as I reached out to try and save her. Thankfully, I was able to grab her and pull her backwards. What I forgot to do was to hold back my strength. I was so scared that I ended up pulling her very hard which made her bump into me and made us fall back on the flower field behind us.

We were both stunned as to what just happened and were processing it in our heads. Dahyun was laying on top of me with her face buried on my c.h.e.s.t. She slowly lifted her head up and slowly looked at me. I could tell that she was embarrassed and scared at the same time. But I gave her a reassuring smile and tucked her hair behind her ear. "You… really are prettier than the flowers."

Her face started glowing as she slowly smiled at me. I felt that everything was in slow motion. My heart was beating fast and the smell of her shampoo wasn't helping. I was extremely attracted to her. We both knew that wherever this was heading, this moment was perfect for it. I c.a.r.e.s.sed her face and she closed her eyes to feel my touch. When she opened her eyes again, she slowly leaned in towards me and I did the same. We both closed our eyes as we waited for our lips to touch.

"Am I disturbing you or something?" We turned to see Youra-noona crossing her arms with a smirk on her face. We immediately stood up and fixed ourselves. "I hate to ruin the mood, but we need to go. Our schedule is already tight."

We both nodded frantically. She went away while laughing and shaking her head. I turned to glance at Dahyun shyly. "We… should probably go."

I started brisk walking in our car's direction when Dahyun called me. "JayB-oppa!"

"Hmm?" As I was turning around, I felt a pair of arms wrap over my neck. Dahyun suddenly gave me a tight hug. I staggered as I tried to keep my balance. She was shorter than me so she had to jump when she went for the hug.

She then slowly pulled away a little before pulling me back in for a long and tender kiss. When she pulled away, she averted her gaze at me looking all embarrassed. "Thank you… for earlier."

Dahyun started walking to the car's directions, leaving me stunned in the middle of the canola fields.

________

"I still don't understand why you wanted to do this, JayB-ya." Youra-noona was shaking her head as she made sure that the gear that I was wearing was safe enough.

Dahyun and I, together with some of the crew, were about to board on the speedboat to start our parasailing activity. We just finished our orientation as to what to do later on. The crew were just making sure that everything was safe and good to go. Dahyun also decided to join me up on the same parachute. Somehow, she just suddenly blurted out that she wanted to try it with me and said that there may never be another opportunity like this. She was acting weird after the incident earlier today.

Dahyun rolled her eyes. "Tell me about it. I still don't understand why he likes to challenge death."

I smiled wryly at them. "I told you that we can cancel this event if you guys are too concerned for me."

"WHO's CONCERNED ABOUT WHO?!" They both yelled at the same time.

It made me chuckle. "Youra-noona. Don't worry about it, you've checked the gear over a hundred times yourself. It's safe. And even if the cord snaps or something DOES happen, I know how to maneuver the chute." I then turned to Dahyun and took her hand. "I'll be here in every step of the way. I'll protect you no matter what."

Just then, the parasailing experts were calling us to the boat. We then boarded with them. This time, Youra-noona was coming along with us just to be sure even though she easily gets seasick. Dahyun was trembling as we got on the boat. I took her hand and drew circles on it using my thumb. She snapped her head over to me and I gave her a reassuring smile. She gave me a smile of her own, but her trembling was convincing me of how terrified she was.

I then leaned over and whispered something over to Dahyun. "Just close your eyes the moment we start flying. I'll tell you when to open them. Until then, you just have to trust me. Okay?"

Dahyun nodded slightly. "Okay… I'll trust you."

The boat started making its way to the deeper end of the waters. As expected, it was a good day to do parasailing since the wind was breezing normally and the waters were very calm. Dahyun was still holding my hand… well… it was more like she was gripping my hand. She must have had a traumatic experience with heights since she's this terrified of it. I pulled her hand over and pressed my lips on the back of it. "You'll be fine."

She gave me a smile but it quickly faded as the experts told us that we needed to start strapping ourselves to the parachute now. I felt Dahyun jerk a little as soon as she heard that. But after looking at me, she took a deep breath in and out. She started calming herself as the experts were strapping us to the cables connected to the hook. They were giving us some final instructions before they ended our preparations. I had one goal in mind for Dahyun with this event, and it was for her to conquer her fears. It might seem harsh but I wanted her to see that sometimes, in a different perspective, being at a certain height will allow her to see things clearly and she might even see how beautiful the view is.

"Okay! We'll start in 3… 2… 1…" As soon as the parasailing instructor started counting down, Dahyun clung onto me tightly. When the instructor reached zero, he started pressing the button that stretches the cable that was attached to us making us glide in the air with our parachute. Dahyun's trembling worsened but the good thing was she wasn't shouting at all.

Once we were gliding stably, I rubbed Dahyun's back and whispered to her. "We're here. You can open your eyes now."

"No! I'm sorry! I can't! I just… I'm too afraid!' Dahyun continued to cling over to my arm. This time, she was desperate not to let go.

I chuckled. "If you won't open your eyes, you'll regret it since you'll miss out on the event that I prepared for you."

She slowly turned to me with her eyes closed. Dahyun bit her lip as she slowly opened one eye to look at me. "W-What event?"

"You just have to look down and see for yourself." I smirked while I pointed to the direction where I wanted her to see.

Dahyun sighed deeply before opening her eyes widely. She slowly turned to where I was pointing and as soon as she saw what I was referring to, her eyes widened before it started filling up with tears. It was the canola fields that we went to earlier. It looked even more breath-taking at this height.

She gasped. "It really looks pretty from up here."

"Yeah. She is." I muttered which made Dahyun turn to me in surprise. I was looking at her the entire time. And every second that I did, I fell for her even more.

Her face started turning red as a tomato. "You and your pick up lines."

I raised my eyebrow at her. "Why do I need pick-up lines when I already got the girl and married her?"

"Oh did you?" She teased.

"Didn't I?" I fired back.

She giggled. "Thank you."

"Oh don't thank me yet. We're just getting started. I wanted to make sure that your eyes were open to see my surprise. Otherwise, it would fail." I told her.

Dahyun raised her eyebrow at me. "There's more?"

"If you're up for it. You're trembling already stopped and you're already enjoying the view. So what do you say? Are you up for it?" I asked.

She held my hand and put it over to her cheek. "As long as you're with me, I know I'll be fine."

After hearing her response. I made an 'O' sign with my arms over my head. Youra-noona must have seen the signal as the boat suddenly changed its direction and was heading on the far side of the canola fields. A minute later, we soon arrived on a cliff-side where the flowers were blooming at a very large quantity.

"I've been dying out of curiosity… where's your surprise?" Dahyun asked.

I then started covering her eyes. "We're almost there. Wait just a sec and close your eyes."

"Oh come on. I've worked so hard to keep my eyes open and not be scared, and now you're asking me to close them again?" Dahyun complained in a cute manner.

"Trust me. You'll thank me later." I replied with a chuckle.

"Ooh. Confident, aren't we?" Dahyun teased.

I smiled. "We're here. Are you ready?"

Dahyun giggled. "I was ready a few minutes ago."

Her response made me roll my eyes. "Fine. Here we go! Tada!~"

As soon as she opened her eyes and saw my surprise for her. She snapped her head towards me. "Did you… when did you have time to prepare this?"

"I sneaked out last night together with some of the crew to prepare this. It was really REALLY cold. We had the area locked so that no one could ruin it. Do you like it?" I replied to her.

"Are you kidding me? I love it!" Dahyun then gave me a peck on the cheek. "Where did you even buy all of these?"

Over the field of canola, I strategically placed a bunch of potted red roses over it and spelled out "Thank you for marrying me." I bought over 10 thousand roses just for this. It was challenging since there were only a few places here in Jeju who sold roses during this season. Good thing I was able to ship out a bunch of them when we got the memo that we'd be shooting this episode.

"It took a lot of preparation, but seeing you this happy was worth it." I replied before giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"You know what?" Dahyun then suddenly asked.

I raised my eyebrow at her. "What?"

"I could never get used to this. You always seem to surprise me every time. And you make me fall deeper for you every single time too. But it's just… I feel like I'm not giving you the same amount of love that you're giving me." She admitted.

I pulled her closer for a side hug. "We already talked about this. It's not a competition, remember?"

She bit her lip. "But still…"

"Giving me the chance to love you and allowing me to be by your side was the greatest gift you could ever give me. You just don't know by how much." I sincerely told her

Dahyun was looking at me as if that line seemed familiar to her. "You… I sometimes think that I've known you all my life."

"I feel the same way too." I replied.

With that, we were looking at each other, trying to read each other's emotions as we were slowly being railed back to the boat.

"HAH! I won again!" Dahyun yelled as soon as she finished counting her crabs.

After the parasailing event, we immediately went to the nearest beach and started our next event. Catching crabs. It was already late in the afternoon so the tide was in our favor. There were a bunch of crabs just walking in plain sight and all we had to do was pick them up and put them in our buckets. Dahyun was enjoying herself so much that I didn't want to ruin her mood so I let her win on purpose.

I pretended to sigh. "I guess I have to grant you two wishes. Are you going to use it now?"

She shook her head in response. "Nope. I'll wait for some other time to use it."

"Alright then. Shall we prepare for dinner then?" I asked.

"Sure. I'm starving." She excitedly answered.

"And cut!" Youra-noona yelled out. The crew then started packing their stuff. She then approached us and gave us two thumbs up. "Honestly, you two are just an amazing couple. Your chemistry is through the roof. I definitely don't want to see you guys break up."

"We don't plan to." Dahyun told her as she held my hand.

"Get a room, you two." she teased.

I chuckled. "Noona, when do we resume filming again?"

"Right. So you guys can freshen up and change. We've already booked two rooms over there in that cottage. Your stuff is already inside. We're still preparing the place where you'll be having your dinner date, so I guess you have about an hour to prepare. Just like always, let's make this an amazing shoot." Youra-noona informed us.

Just as instructed, we went straight to our separate cottages to freshen up. We were gonna have our date by the beach so I think some light brown pants, a pair of white sneakers and a white ¾ sleeve polo shirt would do the trick. I hope she wouldn't mind me unbuttoning the first two buttons off my shirt. The weather's starting to get a bit warm. There was still plenty of time so I decided to go around and see the place. An hour later, I met with them near the venue. I was the first one to arrive so I just sat there while waiting for her. Youra-noona then yelled out that we were going to start filming now. I was surprised since Dahyun was still not here.

As soon as the cameras started rolling, all eyes were looking in the same direction. When I turned to see where they were looking at, my eyes widened in surprise. Dahyun was walking towards us with a white summer dress with orange floral designs. Her orange hair was also down which matched perfectly with her dress. I didn't even realize that I was holding my breath the entire time she was walking towards me.

She then stopped in front of me as I slowly stood up and tried to form the right words. "You look… amazing…"

Dahyun blushed as she tucked a hair behind her ear. "Really? Doesn't this dress make me look puffy?"

I shook my head as I reached out to offer my hand to her. "You look perfect."

"Thank you." She replied while taking my hand. I guided her to her seat and pulled it for her.

The filming went on. We covered a lot of topics, one of which was about when we'll meet again. I told her that we'll be stopping by for K-CON LA during our US Tour. Twice would also be going there during that time. So It would still take about a month before we could see each other again. After our time here in Jeju Island, I'll be heading to Europe to kick off our European Tour. After that we'll be heading to Vancouver for a short stop over before starting off on our US Tour. Dahyun would be going back home after our filming to start preparing for the JYP Nation concert and other events as well. So we'd both be very busy after filming. Which means, this is the last night that we'd get to enjoy each other's company before we go on a month-long long distance relationship.

"I'm already missing you just by thinking about how long it'll take before we see each other again." Dahyun said as she stirred her drink with a straw.

I took her hand and c.a.r.e.s.sed it. "Just say the word, and I'll come fly back to you when you need me."

She rolled her eyes as she chuckled. "And let your fans bash me to death? No way, loverboy."

"I'm sure the fans would understand." I chuckled.

"I'll call you and message you as much as I can. Let's have an ongoing conversation through our SNS. It doesn't matter it'll take time for you to reply, just keep the conversation going." she said.

I nodded in response. "Okay. Don't worry too much about it."

Dahyun might have agreed, but I could see the worry in her eyes. We both knew how bad we were at keeping our communication. It was really awful when we were having our tour. But I still wanted to assure her that I was with her. "I have something for you."

"Another gift? You know how I feel about gifts." Dahyun said which made me chuckle.

"I know. But since we're not gonna be seeing each other for a while, I figured that you might need this." I told her as I took a box and showed its contents.

Her eyes widened in surprise. "A bracelet? This necklace you gave me is more than enough already."

I took the bracelet and put it on her wrist. "This bracelet is special and unique."

"How so?" Dahyun's interest was piqued as she asked.

"Because it's the only one in the world." I told her.

She held her hand up to inspect the bracelet. It was a silver bracelet with four white pearls dangling from it. Her eyes then met mine. "Thank you."

"There's something else." I continued.

She narrowed her eyes at me. "There's more?"

I chuckled as I took out a box with a pink lace wrapped on it. "Open it."

Dahyun was hesitant at first but decided to open it. "What is it? Why can't I open it?"

"It's a diary. While I'm away and if I'm really busy, you can write your thoughts here. This diary will protect it." I smiled at her.

"But how can I write it when it won't even open?" she asked while trying to get it open.

I took her hand and slowly lifted it over the diary's lock. After a click sound could be heard, the diary opened. "This is an electronic diary which can only be opened by this bracelet. It won't only remind you of me, but it'll also protect your secrets as well."

"These are all great. Thank you." Dahyun smiled.

"I thought you'd be more angry at me for buying you stuff." I chuckled.

She sighed. "You already bought them, and they're really good gifts, so there's nothing much that I can do about it."

"You like it, don't you?" I teased.

Dahyun raised her eyebrow at me. "I like you more."

"Well, I love YOU." I told her as I leaned on my hand while giving her a smirk.

The filming soon ended as we wrapped things up. We then drove back to the hotel. My flight was in a few more hours and Dahyun's was still in the morning. This meant that she'll be left alone after I leave for the UK.

"What do we do now?" She asked as soon as we arrived in the room. She then followed it up with a yawn.

I chuckled. "Why don't I sing you to sleep?"

She shook her head. "I want to be awake the entire time until you leave for the airport."

"I can't let you do that. You might be balling your eyes again when I leave." I teased.

Dahyun pouted. "I can't help it if I miss you, you know?"

I pulled her in for a hug. "I know, I know. That's why I'm asking you to sleep. Once you wake up, you won't miss me as much."

"I'm pretty sure I'd still miss you as much." Dahyun chuckled.

"You won't be the only one." I replied while pulling away.

She yawned once again and rubbed her eye. "I guess I should rest."

"Alright." I replied before carrying her to bed. She was too tired to fight back and just let it happen.

We spent the rest of the night cuddling like that as I sang her to sleep. As the hours ticked closer to my flight, the harder it was for me to leave. I knew that once I left this place, the next time I would see her was in LA. Though we'd be miles and days apart, I made a promise there and then, that once all the busyness would die down, I'd have to spend my time with her and just retreat from all the noise. Somewhere where cameras won't point at us and we won't even glance at our phones every second of the day, worried that we might get a call from the company.

I looked at my lovely wife sleeping peacefully on my c.h.e.s.t. She had an exhausting day today because of me. But seeing her smile throughout the day was worth it. I then remembered a lot of memories from the previous world and about who I really am and about HER. I realized that someday, I'd have to tell her all of these things.

"When the time's right… I'll tell you everything. I promise." I brushed her hair to the side before planting a kiss on her forehead. I tucked her in and got my luggage. I made my way to the door. After giving her one last look, I smiled before taking my leave.
