AN: A song will be sung in this chapter. Also, a couple of songs will be mentioned in the chapter. Please have a listen to them. Thanks! Enjoy!

________

"Oh? JayB-oppa? You're up early?" Mina greeted me as soon as she opened the door to their dorm.

It's the morning after probably the most messed up day that I had so far. There was a lot to do yesterday. First up was the paperwork that needed filling out and signing. I had to email a detailed report to PD-nim about the groups that would debut next year. It had to be perfect, otherwise, he'd probably change his mind. ITZY, LOONA, Everglow, and Rocket Punch will be debuting in that specific order. I promised PD-nim that I'd handle their debut songs and will submit it at the end of the week for him to review it. It was so while we were on tour they could start rehearsing for it. After all, an idol group's debut song IS the most important performance of an idol's life.

The next issue that I needed to resolve was my relationship with Dahyun. Somehow, I managed to convince Dahyun yesterday that we'll go into VLIVE using Alpha's account to tell the fans the entire story. As expected, there were a lot of hate comments flooding in as soon as they saw Dahyun with me. But after we explained what happened, the people who were commenting and showing their love and support drowned out the people who were instigating hate comments. Dahyun cried the entire time she read the positive comments. I knew that it would help her gain her confidence back and release her from the guilt that she was feeling. That's why I took the risk of telling our fans. We didn't want to keep them in the dark as well.

Our loyal fans also did their best to help mediate the issue by reporting accounts and sites that were defaming Dahyun which helped with Zee and Jeong Do's investigation. And just as I predicted, the president of TvN, the company that runs We Got Married, gave me a call stating that they were too hasty and have decided to keep us in the show. Of course, I knew it was all Jeong Do and Zee's doing. Whatever they did, it worked. When I shared the news with Dahyun, she was relieved and was excited to film again soon.

Going back to what I did with the VLIVE, I also announced my upcoming solo debut as a form of good news amidst the terrible time. I didn't give any dates since our tour was still coming up, and didn't want to leave with an empty promise, but based on the reaction of the pack, they were really looking forward to it. Just like what my members anticipated, the fans were just waiting for me to release an album of my own to showcase my skills. It was uplifting to know that the fans were taking this the right way. I was afraid that they would think that I planned on leaving Alpha to pursue a solo career. Thankfully, they were too caught up at the fact that the tour is still coming up that they didn't get to see it that way.

Lastly, after dealing with these issues last night, my members and I met with Twice to tell them about the plan to move them to a safer location since their dorm address has been exposed. I decided to give them the penthouse in one of my condos in Gangnam. It was one of the most secure places they could live in. Plus, we could monitor them 24/7 since I own the building. The girls hesitated at first, especially since they've grown attached to their dorm and thought that it was quite over the top considering how generous the offer was. Fortunately, they were kind enough to listen and somehow we managed to convince them. Hence, this is why we're helping them move some of their stuff this morning. After all, we have the same schedule for this afternoon which was to film for Idol Room and promote our upcoming tour.

"Good morning, Mina-ri. Is Dahyun-ie awake?" I asked her as she stacked up some of the boxes beside the door.

"Right here, hubby!" Dahyun came out of her room with her crop top and jean shorts. She still wasn't ready to head out. Still, she looked beautiful without any make-up on. She gave me a quick peck on the cheek. "Why are you up early? It's still 6AM."

"It's 7AM actually. And did you forget? We're having breakfast together this morning." I smiled wryly at her.

She gasped as she hit her head with her palm. "I totally forgot! I'm sorry. we've been really busy packing and all that. It really slipped my mind."

"I absolutely understand. Why don't I help you out instead?" I suggested.

Momo came out of their room carrying a large box. "That's the last of it, Dahyun-ah. You guys head for your date. We'll take care of the rest."

I waved it off as I tried to convince her otherwise. "No. It's okay. We can have breakfast with everyone once we're done."

Jiwoo was grunting as he pulled one of the girl's drawers out from another room. "In that case, you can help me with this, hyung."

"Jiwoo-ya? You're here too? I thought you guys were at the company or something." I was surprised to see him this early.

"He's not the only one." A voice came from one of the other rooms. It turned out to be Jeong Do who was carrying out two large boxes.

Sana came out of the same room with a giggle. "All your members came at 5AM to help us out. They didn't wake you since they wanted you to rest some more."

Dominic, who came out of nowhere, placed his arm around my shoulder. "I just followed up on the movers. They just got here and are parking their truck downstairs. They'll be on their way up to start lifting the heavy load. And Jiwoo-ya, what were you thinking asking my patient to lift something THAT heavy?"

Jiwoo shrugged. "Hey, JayB-hyung wanted to help."

Matt-hyung laughed as he carried out more boxes from Sana's room. "Guys, guys, guys. The movers are here. I'll keep watch while you guys go ahead and grab some breakfast."

"What about you?" Zee who was trying to fix the girls' microwave asked.

Matt-hyung chuckled. "I already ate breakfast before coming here. AND you're staying with me Zee-ya. Momo-ring and Jihyo-ya still need help with their packing."

"Why am I staying?" Zee complained.

Seiji-hyung, who I noticed was busy disassembling the table earlier, finally spoke. "Because we're the only ones who don't have a girlfriend in Twice."

"Oh yeah? So what group is your girlfriend in?" Yo Chul-hyung asked. He came from Jeongyeon's room just now.

Seiji-hyung chuckled. "Trying to play me, huh? That's a secret that you'll find out soon enough."

Jeong Do decided to move on since we were wasting time. We still had a show to film this afternoon. "Alright. We're heading out for breakfast. Anything you want? Seiji-hyung wants sausages for sure. Matt-hyung probably wants a smoothie. And Zee… Clubhouse sandwich?"

All of them nodded in response. Jeong Do then turned to the girls who were staying with them. "What about you guys?"

Jihyo smiled wryly. "It's still weird that you guys know so much about each other. Anyway, I'll just have a sandwich. The same kind as Zee-oppa's."

"I'll have some Jokbal (Deep fried Pig's Feet), please." Momo added.

Dominic's mouth fell as he heard that. "Jokbal? This early?"

Mina patted Dominic's shoulder. "Just give up, love. Even WE don't understand what's going on in that brain of hers."

"Alright. Let's get going. By the way, where's Nayeon-ah at?" Yo Chul-hyung asked.

Chaeyoung was busy packing with Zhang in the maknae's room when she heard the question. "Oh! I saw her leave earlier today."

Tzuyu came out of the room too. "Nayeon-unnie said that she's out to shoot a CF. She'll probably be back before noon today."

I sighed. "I guess that's that. Shall we?"

_________

"I can't believe we're moving to a new place today." Chaeyoung said as she took a bite from her food.

We were in a restaurant somewhere in Seoul. There were only a few people inside the place which made it perfect to eat at. The last thing we need right now is some paparazzi taking stolen photos of us while having breakfast. Ever since the stabbing incident in Hong Kong, the number of sasaeng fans have increased exponentially. There were many reports just this week. Mostly on male groups. There were also stalking cases on some of the members in different girl groups. Nonetheless, this wasn't a good sign for all of us.

Regardless of the issue, we still wanted to have a good breakfast. I doubt they'd dare to harm us here. We're in public after all. Unless they were daring enough to do so. Idols were starting to get harassed during the day too. Dahyun was almost attacked during the day days ago, and she's just one of the many examples. Those sasaeng fans are just the worst. For now, we just want to get our minds off of these things and focus on this wonderful and delicious breakfast in front of us.

"Yeah, I know right? We've been living there for three years now." Tzuyu added.

Jeong Do sighed. "It can't be helped. It's to protect you guys."

Dahyun rested on her hand as she twirled her food with her chopsticks. "Can't we just go somewhere temporary instead of completely moving out?"

Dominic sighed as well. "We told you. Even if this issue dies down, your dorm has already been exposed so the sasaeng fans might come and attack you at another time."

Mina patted Dominic's shoulder. "We know that. It's just that… It's a big change. AND we have to decide on our new roommates as well."

Sana nodded her head. "Yeah. We haven't seen the place yet after all. But we're already trying to play on who gets to be be roommates with who."

I laughed at what they just said. "Who says you'll be having roommates?"

Twice's members snapped their heads towards me before Dahyun asked. "What do you mean?"

"Didn't I tell you? You're taking the penthouse of my condo." I replied nonchalantly.

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes. "Yeah. We get that. Is it really that large?"

Yo Chul-hyung chuckled. "You're taking the last two floors of the condo, babe."

Their mouths fell as soon as they heard Yo Chul-hyung drop the bomb on them. Dahyun slowly turned to me as I gave her a slight nod. "What he says is true. You also have an indoor pool, a practice room, a home theater, and a bunch of other rooms."

"You're kidding?" Chaeyoung asked, still unable to believe what I just said.

I shook my head in response. "Not even one bit. I actually reserved that place as my rest house in the city-"

"One of the many rest houses in the city." Dominic corrected.

"Right... But this is an emergency after all. Also, since you want it to be temporary, I can get it back anyway, right?"

Sana held my hand before she did an aegyo. "Oppa!~ You don't mean to take it back, do you?~"

Jeong Do chuckled. "She only does aegyo when she badly needs something. You're not going to take it away from them, are you?"

They were ganging up on me which made me laugh and shake my head. "Don't worry. It's all yours as long as you remain as Twice. Besides, when you earn enough, you're probably not obliged to get a dorm together."

Jeongyeon scoffed. "Are you kidding? There's an indoor theater! AND an indoor pool! What's up with that?"

Yo Chul-hyung laughed before he muttered to himself. "Wait until you see the rooftop observatory."

Jeongyeon's jaw fell. "There's a what now?"

Tzuyu sighed, ignoring what Yo Chul-hyung said. "Yeah. But still, the memories we had with the old dorm."

I raised my brow. "Oh! Did I forget to mention that the theater has 5D? And your rooms had the latest holoscreens installed in it too? Oh! And whatever the person is watching in theater can be shared in your holoscreens"

"Alright, NOW I'm convinced." Tzuyu said.

Everybody laughed as soon as she said that. The mood finally lifted as we continued joking around. Not long after that, we talked about work and what to do during the filming later on. We also promised not to reveal our dating secrets since Twice had a habit of doing so in their radio shows and other interviews.

We finished having our long breakfast when suddenly my phone started ringing. It was Ming Do-hyung, our manager. There was a sudden change in schedule so we had to head back and have our make-up done early so that we could have lunch with PD-nim and the board before going to the studio for the filming. It was the best move we had so that we could still take our time after the lunch meeting and not rush. After all, we'd only have our retouch done in the studio's dressing room. After finalizing the plans for the day, we went to prepare for the meeting.

________

"You should have said something a while ago." I said as I watched Dahyun winced in pain as I massaged her foot.

The lunch meeting finished hours ago and we were now at one of Idol Room Studio's dressing rooms. Twice and Alpha were supposed to be in separate rooms but Alpha kept playing around and decided to hang out at the girl's dressing room. The stylists didn't mind since the girls were already wearing their clothes and were just having their make-up retouched. The rest were playing around and were trying to calm themselves before the actual shooting.

Momo and Nayeon were having their make-up done. Seiji-hyung and Matt-hyung were on the sofa and were passed out. They were probably tired from helping the girls with their move. The rest were playing Mafia on the floor. I, on the other hand, was helping out Dahyun. Apparently, she hurt herself with their practice yesterday. She was so out of it that she accidentally tripped on Tzuyu's leg while moving towards their next formation. Well, it actually became worse when she tripped. She was already injured when the fans attacked her before.

"Ah! Not too hard, oppa!" Dahyun complained as I pressed on her ankle.

"Oh sorry!" I sighed as I changed the pressure. "I'm surprised you were able to last this long. Why didn't you say anything?"

She pouted. "I'm afraid of being benched today. I was really looking forward to being here."

I narrowed my eyes at her. "You think I can't call PD-nim and tell him to sit you out on this one?"

"Anything but that! Please!~" Dahyun begged using her aegyo voice.

I bit my lip as I tried to prevent myself from cringing. "Ya! Kim Dahyun! You're too much! How do you expect to be on the show with this injury? Huh?"

"Who's injured?" Connie-hyung, who was one of the show's hosts, peeked his head through the dressing room door.

Everyone stood up and started greeting him except for Dahyun who Connie-hyung asked to continue sitting down. He also greeted back the people and asked them to continue what they were doing. It was hard to play now that one of the hosts was here. Connie-hyung then turned his attention to me.

"JayB-ya, what's the problem?" Connie-hyung asked.

I gave him a wry smile. "Apparently, Dahyun-ie hurt her leg yesterday. She didn't tell anyone because she was afraid of being pulled out of the show."

Connie-hyung clicked his tongue several times. "That looks pretty bad. Can you even walk, Dahyun-ah?"

Dahyun tried standing up and walking. She was able to walk without limping. "See! I'm perfectly fine."

"Great poker face, Dubu." Nayeon gave a sarcastic thumbs up to Dahyun.

"Yeah right. I saw you wince a while ago. What if it'll become worse later on as we do the taping?" I gave Dahyun a stern look.

She frowned and turned to face the ground. "Can I just go? I promise not to take it too far. Please?"

I didn't respond as I saw how disappointed she looked. Connie-hyung patted my shoulder. "I leave the decision to you." He then turned to Dahyun. "We would love to have you on the show, but if it's really tough for you, don't force it. You're going to have your concert in a few weeks. You don't want to sit that one out for good, do you?"

Dahyun shook her head which made Connie-hyung chuckle. He then said his goodbyes as he headed out of the dressing room. He wanted to cheer us up before we started filming. But it looked like we were already good to go. All except for Dahyun. After Connie-hyung left, Dominic went over to check on Dahyun's ankle.

He tried pressing and slowly twisting Dahyun's foot. After a careful examination, he finally took his backpack. "I have an injection that'll remove the swelling. It'll feel hot for a few minutes before the pain completely disappears."

"Does it have to be an injection?" Dahyun grimaced at the thought.

Dominic gave her a sarcastic smile. "Do you want to join the filming or not? It already swelled pretty badly."

"I do. I really do." Dahyun said sadly. She was caught in a dilemma.

Dominic chuckled. "Then be a big girl and suck it up. Honestly, I would suggest having it x-rayed just in case, but based on what I can see, it doesn't look pretty bad. Still, let's have it checked tomorrow. For now, don't overexert yourself. You hear?"

Dahyun nodded slowly. "Yes, Seonsaengnim."

"Good." Dominic said as he took out an injection and a vial for the anti-inflammatory serum. After preparing them, he then turned to Dahyun. "Now… I won't lie. This'll probably hurt."

"Wha-" Dahyun couldn't finish her words as Dominic inserted the needle on Dahyun's foot.

I immediately took Dahyun's hand and whispered comforting things to her ear. The rest of Twice's members were staring at this like it was a freak show. Momo, on the other hand, turned her head away as she crouched to the ground and covered her ears. She was very much afraid of needles. After a few seconds, Dominic pulled the needle out which made the rest of my members wince.

"It's done. We still have a few minutes until we start filming. I suggest you ask your manager to find you some ice. It'll help." Dominic suggested.

Seiji-hyung chuckled. "I already told their manager. She'll be here in a few minutes with an ice pack."

"Thanks, Dominic-oppa, Seiji-oppa." Dahyun said.

"What about me?" I pretended to be hurt as I pulled Dahyun's hand.

She pretended to scoff and took her hand away. "You only wanted to get me off the show. Don't you know that it's a rare opportunity to have both our groups in the same show?"

"Well, can't a husband care for his wife?" I rebutted.

"Yeah yeah yeah. Let's go. We're going to start filming in a few minutes." Ming Do-hyung suddenly went inside the dressing room and clapped his hands to get our attention.

Twice's manager also said the same thing. She was also bringing with her an ice pack for Dahyun. Dominic then asked Dahyun to stay back for 3 minutes more before she would catch up to us. I was supposed to go with the group when Twice's manager asked if I could stay with Dahyun since she has to make an important call for their tour. It didn't take long and before we knew it, Dahyun and I were left alone in the dressing room.

"Are you sure, you'll be fine?" I asked her just to be sure.

She smiled. "A while ago, no. After I got the shot, it started to feel a little less painful."

"I'm glad to hear that. Is there anything else you need?" I told her as I crouched in front of Dahyun who was sitting down on the sofa.

Dahyun shook her head in response as she gave me a playful grin. "Nope. We're finally alone though. What do you want to do now?"

"Take care of you. We might ruin your hair and make-up if you keep teasing me like that." I teased her in return.

Her face blushed. "Ya! Kim Jinbo! What in the world are you thinking about? I was just asking you what we'll do while we wait!"

"'Ya'? Did you just talk down on me? Are you forgetting that I'm older than you? You need to be punished." I gave her a smirk as I raised an eyebrow at her. She started cowering in fear. I slowly approached her with my hands lifted and ready to tickle her.

"Oppa… please no. Don't Oppa! No!" The room filled with laughter as I tickled her. It was nice that we get to act like kids every once in a while. Especially with towards one another. It clearly showed that we were really comfortable with each other. Soon, Dahyun and I collapsed on the sofa as we both laughed ourselves to exhaustion.

_________

"Oh so that's what happened. I hope that everything will go well for you. Especially when both your groups' concerts are coming up." Donnie-hyung said.

Connie-hyung and Donnie-hyung started this new program called Idol Room because there was an issue with staff replacement for Weekly Idol. Since they've grown attached with their current staff and crew, they decided to start a program of their own. Hence, that's how Idol Room came to be. The same issue happened in the previous world. I guess some things are just inevitable.

We were almost midway the program as we already started a while ago. They were just asking us a couple of questions about the upcoming concerts and what we've been doing the past few days. The stabbing and stalking incident came into topic, and Dahyun and I answered it truthfully and safely. Fortunately, Donnie-hyung saw how uncomfortable we were with the topic so he decided to move on from that.

"Well, enough with the issue. We're both just glad that you two are okay. We're really a fan of the Kim couple after all. How's the marriage by the way? Are you guys meeting outside the show?" Connie-hyung asked with a bright smile.

Our members started reacting excitedly which caught the suspicions of the two hosts. Donnie-hyung didn't let this go. "My my my. What's this? Is it true?"

Connie-hyung snapped his fingers. "That's right! I went to visit them in their dressing room earlier today. The rest were playing on the floor, but Dahyun-ie was on the sofa while JayB-ya was massaging her foot. Apparently, Dahyun-ie was working really hard for their tour and hurt her foot. JayB-ya was really a gentleman as she took care of her."

Donnie-hyung pressed on as he jokingly teased. "But why was he being so touchy? Are you guys really that friendly outside the show?" He then turned his attention to the scriptwriters and director. "We're not secretly filming 'We Got Married', are we?"

The directors laughed and signalled them that we weren't. Connie-hyung played along with Donnie-hyung. "So you two… are you dating for real?"

Dahyun turned to me and blushed which made the members snicker. They were trying their best not to laugh. Donnie-hyung saw this and called Dahyun out. "Don't turn to your husband and ask for help. We're asking you."

As soon as he said that, our members burst out laughing. Dahyun couldn't handle her shyness as she finally spoke. "What's the big deal? We're not the only ones who are dating in both our groups!"

The room suddenly burst into more laughter. Some of Dahyun's member's jaws dropped at how she sold them over. My members on the other hand fell on their seats at how Dahyun was acting out. We were a mess and it was still halfway down the show. Still, it was nice to get a few laughs from everyone.

Connie-hyung then stopped Dahyun from changing the topic. "That's not what we asked. We can pry it from them later." We continued laughing at his reaction to how Dahyun was slowly diverting the topic away from the question. He then continued with a question. "It's just a 'yes or no' question. Answer it. Are you guys dating… or not?"

Dahyun got placed in the hot seat long enough. She was having a hard time as she tried her best to contemplate whether to tell the truth or not. It was basically still a rumor after all. It was nice to keep everyone guessing. Not being able to stand watching my wife being grilled like that, I stood up from my seat and started approaching her. Before I knew it, I was already standing behind Dahyun.

"Does this answer your question?" I asked before giving Dahyun a back hug. Her jaw dropped as I could feel her temperature rise from the excitement. The two hosts also reacted as they started roaming around the room while shouting in excitement. Our members also couldn't contain the sweetness as Twice started squealing and hitting the nearest person to them. Alpha, on the other hand, started laughing and jumping. I even heard the staff of the show squealing and laughing.

After everyone started calming down, Connie-hyung started approaching me and patted my shoulder. "You're a man amongst men, JayB-ya. That was really manly of you."

There were a lot of questions that came after that. Our members were also asked about their dating lives. Everyone got the chance to answer what was challenging about dating fellow idols and other things. For those who weren't in a relationship, they weren't left out. They were also asked questions related to dating. Overall, it was a fun experience. This was the first time where we revealed our relationship to the public. Zee and Seiji-hyung chose to keep their relationship a secret and was respected by the hosts as well.

We soon moved on to the next segment where we were going to present ourselves as Twice and Alpha separately. What's amazing about Idol Room is that they have a gimmick where every week they would hold "forced" auditions through every idol group that was featured. After doing so, they would pick one member to join their future idol group. The goal is to find 999 idols from various groups and form the ultimate coed group in the future called the 1001 meaning "One Oh Oh One". Basically, it's a combination of the 999 idols that "passed" the forced audition and the hosts. It was the same concept from the previous world's Idol Room.

This was the start of our forced audition. What we were going to do was to perform a dance cover of an idol group or groups from the opposite s.e.x. Basically, Twice needed to cover a boy group dance, while Alpha needed to cover a girl group dance. Fortunately, we were already informed ahead of time about this segment and were able to prepare a medley for it.

Knowing how crazy and playful we can be, the girls were already trying to hold their laughter in. Our dance consisted of a medley performance from a bunch of different groups like Twice, Apink, Rainbow, Red Velvet and After School. The entire time that we were performing, we were loud and noisy while over exaggerating some of the steps and some of our facial expressions as well. Twice were already falling from their seats from laughing. Even Connie-hyung and Donnie-hyung were laughing out loud. Our performance ended with much laughter and applause from the other group.

Twice went up after and surprised us with their version of our song Pretty U. It was such a fun thing to watch especially since it was set up on a higher key. They were even wearing name tags with our names on it to see who was doing whose part. Although they couldn't completely copy all the moves since most of the choreography required strength training, it looked really fun to watch. Twice even exaggerated on some facial expressions as they tried to copy our stage mannerisms. We were even shocked at how they really playfully mocked us. It was like watching a great parody come into play. It was a very fun and playful performance from them. Connie-hyung and Donnie-hyung really enjoyed it.

After that, there was a short in-between break for us to relax and do some retouch if we wanted to. We were already filming for almost two hours now and we're almost done. We only had two segments left before we finish filming. We were starting to feel exhausted. It was probably because we practically almost had no sleep from helping the girls pack last night. Most of my members were relaxing in the dressing room couch while some were on the rooftop trying to get some air. I was sitting on a bench on the studio's rooftop as Dahyun was resting her head on my l.a.p.

"Are you sure you want to go public with our relationship?" Dahyun asked.

I gave her a smile as I played with her hair. "Of course. I've been meaning to ask you about it ever since your birthday. I was just too afraid to ask."

She giggled as she pinched my cheek. "I was just waiting for you to talk to me about it too."

Her words made me chuckle. "I guess we were both waiting for each other to make a move. Typical."

"It's not my fault that you doubt me. What do you think I'd say? You think I'd say 'no' to a sweet guy like you?" She rolled her eyes.

"Not really. I was just afraid you'd ignore me when I would ask you about it." I replied.

She raised an eyebrow at me. "Seriously? Isn't that the same thing?"

I shrugged. "Maybe."

Dahyun sighed. "Whatever. Anyway, since we already admitted to the dating rumor. There's no backing out from this. You'd better be prepared for the consequences."

"I was prepared the moment I asked you out." I told her which made her blush.

"Whatever you say, loverboy." She countered shyly.

Soon, we were called back to the studio to resume filming. The Random Dance Challenge. It was one of the most common and familiar challenges to idols both in this world and the previous one. We just basically have to dance to the choreography of various songs from different artists. In this case, since this was an audition, each of us needed to garner as many points as we could. It was every man or woman for himself.

"So are you guys ready for this challenge?" Connie-hyung asked which we responded with nods and yeses.

The first song played and it was a song from 2PM. It was unfamiliar to me since it was of this world. Zhang, Jiwoo, Momo, Nayeon and Chaeyoung ended up dashing to the front to dance to the song. Momo mostly took the spotlight since she practically memorized the song. The next song played and it was this world's Girl's Generation song. This was a girl group song so all of Twice went to the front to dance it. Only Zhang joined for our group. In the middle part of the dance however, Zee and Matt-hyung joined and danced the s.e.xy parts. It made us laugh at how funny it looked.

Finally, GOT7's Hard Carry came into play. I immediately rushed to the front, but to my horror, everyone joined in. I forgot that this song made it big in this world. The next song came on and it was Mansae of Seventeen. Everyone also knew the song. It was harder to compete this time since all of us were occupying the front. The next up was Fire by BTS. Only Momo and Dahyun stayed for this one on Twice's side. But as for us, we knew this song by heart since we did a surprise cover of this song in one of our recent VLIVEs. The next song was from EXO and it was from this world. Momo ended up dancing it on her own since the rest of us didn't memorize the choreography and were too intimidated at how Momo did the dance.

We were finally down to the last few songs as IOI's Very Very started playing. Everyone knew this song and it made us bump each other as we fought for a spot in front. The hosts ended up laughing so hard since we were starting to turn against each other. When the next song played, most of Twice's members sat back down except for Dahyun, Mina and Momo. Alpha stayed behind since we were all familiar with Infinite's Be Mine. Soon, the last two familiar songs played and everyone was able to dance to it. Blackpink's As if it's Your Last and Red Velvet's Dumb Dumb. The challenge then ended as we all sat back down while panting heavily. In the end, Momo garnered the most points. We didn't choose her to be the Main Dancer for their group for no reason. She really excelled in dancing. Period.

The last segment, which was also the last challenge of the show, finally came. They called it "NoraeJjang" which translates to Sing the Best. It's basically a segment where they play a snippet of a song for a few seconds and then you have to guess the title AND the artist of the song. If you are able to guess it, you have to correctly sing the song. The person with the most guesses would win. Here's the thing. Remember that we actually have a person who's a prodigy in music? Yeah... I'll just leave that thought there. There's no need to discuss who won or how he won. It's THAT obvious. And just like that, the show finally comes to a close.

Donnie-hyung and Connie-hyung started closing the show. They were both bringing what seemed to be a beige-colored hoodie that read "1001". Connie-hyung only confirmed my suspicions when he told us that this was the prize for the people who would be joining their idol group in 2030.

Connie-hyung then cleared his throat. "So we'll be announcing only two people. One from Twice and one from Alpha."

"Are you guys ready?" Donnie-hyung asked as we nervously nodded in response. I don't know why I'm suddenly nervous. It's just a show after all. I must have wanted to be part of this parody idol group after all.

We all waited for the final decision as Connie-hyung spoke. "Let's start with Twice since it's ladies' first."

"I agree. So for Twice… the member that would be joining us is…" Donnie-hyung paused to give the announcement a sense of suspense.

"Momo-ya!" They both said at the same time. Momo then pretended to cry as she approached the two hosts. She was then asked to give a short speech.

"I'm thankful to be able to pass the auditions. I will do my best for this upcoming group. Please support the upcoming auditions as well. I love you!~" Momo said as she did an aegyo in the last part.

"Thank you, Momo-ya. Now for Alpha. Who do you think it will be?" Connie-hyung asked,

Momo raised her hand. "JayB-oppa!"

"Why?" Connie-hyung asked.

"Because he's a genius." Momo shyly answered which made Dahyun glare at her.

Donnie-hyung saw it and pointed it out. "Did everyone see Dahyun-ie glare at Momo?"

We started laughing as Dahyun tried to deny it while blushing. Was she actually jealous of Momo? Connie-hyung decided to change the topic since we were slowly running out of time. "Alright, alright. We'll deal with your dating life later. As for the person that would be joining 1001 from Alpha, sadly it's not JayB-ya."

"Congratulations, Zhang-ah!" Donnie-hyung announced.

It was already given. Especially since he practically owned the last challenge. Just like Momo, Zhang was asked to give a short speech. "Thank you, everyone for choosing me. I'll make you proud."

"That's it?" Connie-hyung asked which Zhang nodded before heading back to his place. This made everyone laugh. Zhang has always been a man of few words. This time was no different.

"I guess that's it. Thank you so much for joining us this time. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves." Donnie-hyung said.

"Wait a second. I'm willing to use my special privilege." Connie-hyung suddenly said.

Donnie-hyung raised his brow at him. "Right now? For who?"

"JayB-ya… I'm willing to use it for him." He answered.

They then began explaining what a special privilege was. According to them, when one of the hosts wants someone to join the future idol group 1001 even though the show has already selected one from the group, they can use their privilege to select one more member. The hosts only have ten of these privileges. It's an honor to actually be chosen. But here's the catch, the idol must do something for the host to prove his worth.

I sighed before giving him Connie-hyung a smile. "What do you have in mind?"

Connie-hyung had a wide grin on his face before he answered. "You see. I'm a huge fan of Alpha. Really. I am. Especially with you, JayB-ya. I have watched all your videos in different shows, and there's one particular skill that I'm quite amazed at. I wanted to see this for myself."

"Are you talking about the spontaneous songwriting thing?" I asked

He nodded in response. "That's right."

"Why is everybody so amazed at that? I did this in almost every show I got invited in. But I'm still willing to give it a shot." I chuckled.

Connie-hyung excitedly clapped his hands. "Alright! Can we have a keyboard here for JayB-ya?"

"Wait a second. What theme do you have in mind?" I asked him.

Connie-hyung pondered for a while, but Donnie-hyung inserted himself. "How about making a theme song for us? You know? A funny bouncy theme song."

Everyone started laughing at the idea. Connie-hyung slightly elbowed Donnie-hyung in response. "Eyy! What are you talking about? Woozi-ya from Seventeen already made the music for us. Even Suga-ya from BTS made the lyrics to our song. Let's have JayB-ya do something else."

Donnie-hyung nodded. "How about a song that'll reconcile you and Dahyun-ie. She might still be angry and jealous about what happened earlier."

Dahyun started blushing madly at what he said. This earned a round of teasing from everyone else. I decided to save Dahyun from this embarrassment. "Are you sure? Dahyun-ie's probably immune to it by now. I sang a bunch of songs to her already. One more song would probably not make a difference."

"I don't mind." Dahyun said as she twirled a strand of her hair before covering her face with it.

This got the attention of everyone as they started shouting and squealing in response. Donnie-hyung then patted my shoulder. "See! She doesn't mind! Go for it!"

I sighed as I shook my head in disbelief. "Alright. Let's go with that."

After the keyboard got set up, I started fiddling with it before pressing a bunch of random keys. When I saw that everything was good to go, I started playing the first song that came into mind. Paul Kim's After You. It was a fitting song for Dahyun and I in this season of our lives. After looking for a good key to sing it at, I sang my heart out.

[After I met you

I've been happy with small changes

In the dazzling morning

I open my eyes by thinking of you]

I gave Dahyun a wink before I started being absorbed by the song's emotions. Even Donnie-hyung and Connie-hyung were listening intently as I continued singing.

[I sit face to face with you at the table

I ask about your day

My day was fine too

I want to answer with a smile]

When the pre-chorus came, Dahyun's eyes started to become watery. I knew what she was thinking about. We were both thinking about the same thing after all. Yesterday, we both asked ourselves if we were really for each other, there were a lot of hindrances that came our way. But both of us made a promise that we wouldn't give up.

[When we understand little things about each other

I was surprised with the fact that we got used to each other

I love you

Just as peaceful as now

I want to be with you forever

I thought that as I was looking at you]

The chorus came and my heart was out in the open. I didn't feel like I was being heard clearly when I kept on telling her that I do love her. Now that we both decided to bring this relationship out in the open, I decided to tell the world about what I really feel about her when the cameras were off. Once this episode airs, I want the world to know that We Got Married isn't just a show for me. That I'm living my feelings out outside the show as well. That my feelings were real.

[After meeting you I was so happy

I was able to love you so much

Because you embraced my young and imm.a.t.u.r.e mind

With a warm understanding]

Connie-hyung started tearing up a little which made Donnie-hyung start comforting him. Twice was also the same as they started crying their eyes out. My members went over to them as they started comforting them as well. All this happened while I was looking at Dahyun lovingly. She approached me as she stood beside the keyboard and was looking at me with a smile while she teared up.

[When we hurt each other

With cold-hearted tones

I can't bear our distant relationship, I'm sorry

Even now when I'm anxious

I want to be with you forever

I thought that as I was looking at you]

The atmosphere was quite heavy. But it was the good kind of heaviness. My members started whispering something to their girlfriends as the girls continued crying. They probably were apologizing or something. The rest of our members and Twice's members who didn't have anyone were tearing up silently. I didn't realize that this song was leaving such an impact until I saw Dahyun biting her lip while trying to get a hold of herself. I gave her a reassuring smile before I sang the chorus again.

[I was so happy to meet you

I was able to love you so much

Because you embraced my young and imm.a.t.u.r.e mind

With a warm understanding]

As the bridge came, Dahyun couldn't take it anymore as she sat beside me while crying on my shoulder. I just let her cry her eyes out since Dahyun tended to keep everything to herself. This was something that we both had in common. This was something that we both weren't proud of yet, even if we had such pride, we were vulnerable when it comes to each other. A good kind of vulnerability.

[After the hot summer

In the rain that I'll miss

as I get shy and blush

I'll kiss your thoughtful eyes

And let's walk forward together]

After prolonging the last note of the bridge, I paused for a few seconds as I lifted Dahyun's face and gazed at her eyes. I gave her a weak smile. She went through a lot, because of me. She'll probably go through a lot more because she's with me. But she made it clear that she wanted to go through all of it WITH me. And so I asked her as I sang the next line…

[Are you happy after meeting me too?

I'm sorry I could not do more

I'm selfish and unstable

I just wanted to do good to you]

Dahyun broke her gaze as she hugged me making it difficult to play. She started whispering to me of how happy she was to have met me, and that there was nothing to apologize for. It reassured me that loving her was the best decision that I've made.

[I've been waiting for a long time

I think I found a perfect love

Because you held me

And gave me energy

Because you considerately hug me

After I met you]

The song ended as Connie-hyung and Donnie-hyung applauded loudly as did the rest of the staff and crew. Twice and Alpha were also cheering for me. The show ended on a good note after that song. Even the staff were happy about how the filming turned out. We didn't stay for long since we were still going to move some items from Twice's old dorm. We were also going to have dinner together tonight after we finished the move. After making sure that we didn't leave anything inside the dressing room, we started making our way to the parking lot.

"You were so cool back there." Dahyun lightly bumped her shoulder with mine as we walked towards the parking lot slowly.

I gave her a smile. "Really? I didn't know you'd see me that way."

She giggled. "You've done a lot of cool things, hubby. I just wasn't too vocal about it."

Her words made me raise an eyebrow. "Like what? I don't remember much. I feel like I've been letting you down from the start."

Dahyun intertwined her fingers with me as she clung onto my arm. "Oh come on! Do you really want me to say it?"

"No. Seriously. I feel like I've disappointed you more times than I could count." I chuckled.

"You're too hard on yourself. I was the one who thought badly of you when we started the show. You've done so much for me. Write me songs, cheered for my comeback, surprised me on my birthday, made my dream wedding a reality, brought me to Disneyland, AND you even put your life on the line for me. You're my superhero, Kim Jinbo." I could feel Dahyun's sincerity from her words. It gave me some of my confidence back. Honestly, what did I ever do to have this woman beside me?

"You know I love you, right?" I smirked as I said that.

She rolled her eyes in response. "I know. You've only told me a billion times now."

"You're exaggerating." I laughed.

Before Dahyun could retaliate, my phone started ringing. "Wait a second." After checking who the caller was, I turned my attention back to Dahyun. "Can you wait for me in the car? I need to take this call?"

Dahyun nodded. "Okay. Don't take too long."

I nodded before tapping on the answer button. "Good afternoon, Kamdong-nim. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"JayB-ya! You finally answered! Is this a bad time to call?" The director for the previous drama called me up again.

I chuckled in response. "We just finished filming for a TV show and was about to head out for some personal errands."

"Oh I see. I won't hold you for long so I'll get straight to the point. One of my friends, who's also a director, called me up and asked me for a favor in reaching out to you. He said that you produced a song for the drama that they were about to shoot." The director said.

"Oh really? Yes, I remember. It was for the drama 'Goblin'. Can I help him with anything else?" I responded as it piqued my curiosity.

The director chuckled in response before he got to the point. "As a matter of fact, you can. You see, he wants you to take the role of the nephew for the main character. Are you up for it?"
