I Got Reincarnated As A Prodigal K-POP Superstar

Chapter 76 - The Difference Between Knowing and Finding Out

"I'm almost there, junmoonim. I'm just around the corner. Again, I'm so sorry for being late." I frantically apologized at the director over the phone.

Days have passed since the award show ended. Ever since that day in the award show, a bunch of companies and sponsors have contacted the company and were willing to work with Alpha. The company decided to hold it off first before we started our promotions in order for Twice to successfully pull through with their comeback. It would only create competition if we were promoting our CFs during their comeback month.

I've also been busy with SO many things over the past few days. Practicing for our comeback, filming for our MV, going through photoshoots for our album cover, finalizing the stage mixes for Twice for their comeback, being a judge on MIXNINE as well, and today, I had three sets of schedules that would definitely drain my life force. Later tonight, we have our dance practice for our upcoming promotions next month. Later today, we also have to be on "Knowing Brothers" which is what my members have been looking forward to all week. For now, I was on my way to the set for "Hit the Top" for our first day of filming. We already did our script reading days ago and were now ready to be on set.

The director for the movie chuckled over the phone. "It's fine. I know how busy you are as a producer AND an idol. I knew what we were getting ourselves into when we signed you up for this project. Just be careful on your way here."

"It shouldn't be an excuse to be late, especially on the first day. Thank you for being so understanding though, junmoonim." I replied.

"Not a problem. I'll see you here in a few minutes, JayB-ssi." He answered back before hanging up the phone.

After hanging up the phone, I turned to Ming Do-hyung, our secondary manager. "Hyung, is it okay that I'll have one of the other managers drive my car over to the set? You still have to prepare the other members for the filming this afternoon."

Ming Do-hyung yawned before he replied. "I know. But it's still early. I still have time to go back to the dorm and prepare the rest of them."

I sighed. "No, I insist. You should let someone drive my car so you can focus on other tasks. I'll drive myself to the studio once I'm done filming."

He chuckled. "JayB-ya… It's still 5:37AM. I can make it back in time. Besides, Wosik-sunbae is already waking them up so they can start their morning practice at 7AM."

"How about this? Call someone else to drive my car here. While waiting for him to arrive, you can buy yourself a good meal and rest up. What do you say? Please? It's on me."

He breathed out and shook his head. "Fine… I can never say 'no' to you. Thanks again for treating me."

"Anytime. You know we have your back, hyung. All you need to do is say the word." I replied with a chuckle as I patted his shoulders.

Soon, we arrived at the set for the show and I quickly made my way to the dressing room to change and prepare for my scene while Ming Do-hyung went to have breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

___________

"Waa… I still can't believe that you two almost look the same…" Lee Seyoung who was the drama's main female lead said as she crossed her arms while observing me.

The director finished most of my scenes for the first 2 episodes for the show and wanted to do more at noon before I leave for a different schedule. The people I was working with were really professionals and were amazing at their job, that the filming went smoothly. It was already almost 11AM and we were on our break since the rest of the crew members were setting up the next set. I was in a table with some of the casts of the show. Yoon Shihyun, who's playing the main male lead, Dong Hyunbae, who was a supporting character for the drama, Cha Eunwoo, who is playing MJ in the drama and a member of Astro, and lastly, Lee Seyoung.

Hyunbae-sunbae took a large bite out of his food before he started chatting. "How can the two of you look so much a like?"

Cha Eunwoo and I turned to look at each other and laughed. I've already met him before since we work mainly in the same industry. A lot of netizens and fans have already brought it up so many times and now that I get to see him this up close, I really could say that there are a lot of similarities.

I smiled Seyoung-noona. "Noona, can you not stare at us like that. It's weird."

Shihyun-hyung chuckled. "I wonder how people will react to our twins right here."

"Aigoo… I just hope the viewers won't be confused. At this point, you won't look like Shihyun-ah's only son in the drama." Hyunbae-sunbae said which made everyone laugh.

Eun Woo smiled at me. "I'm just happy that I get to look like someone who is very famous in our industry. There are times that people mistake me for him and I really enjoy it when that happens. Especially after giving them my signature."

I almost spat my food out after hearing that. "Ya! Eun Woo-ya! Have you been pretending to be me before?"

He smiled wryly. "I might have…"

I playfully pinched his arm. "You shouldn't do that you know."

He grunted in pain before I let go. "Sorry, sunbaenim. It won't happen again."

He suddenly frowned and I knew he was guilty. I sighed before giving him two slices of my pork tonkatsu. "Here. The next time you do it, make sure to tell me. I was beginning to worry since some of my fans thought that you're me and that I was pretending to be me again when I'm already me."

Seyoung-noona scoffed. "Well that sounded confusing."

Shihyun-hyung also had a confused look on his face. "I agree. Did he even understand that?"

Eunwoo sighed as he smiled meekly at me. "I understand, sunbae. I'll make sure to tell you about it if ever it happens again."

I chuckled. "I just hope it doesn't happen again. And when are you going to start speaking casually to me? I already told you many times to do so. It's not like we haven't met each other before we debuted."

"Oh? Did you guys really meet before you debuted?" Hyunbae-sunbae asked.

His question made me snap my head towards him. "Yeah... We both trained under SM before I transferred to JYP. He also left the same year I debuted."

Eun Woo sighed. "If I didn't, I wouldn't have probably debuted. SM is highly focused on its girl groups compared to their boy groups."

I waved it off. "That's a myth. It seems that way, but when it comes to training, the boys have it really well for them."

He chuckled. "That's true though."

Suddenly, one of the director's secretaries approached our table. "JayB-ssi, the set is ready. You'll have 10 minutes to change for your next scene. The rest of you get ready too."

Shihyun-hyung raised his brow. "I thought we were shooting at noon. It's still 11AM."

The secretary smiled wryly at us. "I really am sorry, but the director wanted to be done with JayB-ssi's scenes before noon since he has another schedule this afternoon and he needs to get back to Seoul for it."

The rest of the casts turned to me before Seyoung-noona spoke. "You're a very busy man, JayB-ya."

I rolled my eyes. "It's because we're preparing for our comeback."

Eun Woo turned to me. "That's right. When is it?"

"Next month." I replied.

Eun Woo's jaw fell. "That means we'll be promoting at the same time."

My eyes widened in surprise. "Really? That's great!"

He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at this point. "What's so great about it? You guys will take all the number one spots again."

I waved him off before patting his back hard. "You're exaggerating! It'll be a fun and friendly competition! Let's just promote well, okay?"

He sighed before giving me a thumbs up. Shihyun-hyung then smiled at me. "I just hope that it won't hinder the filming process though."

Before I could answer the secretary called out to me again. "JayB-ssi… the make-up artist is waiting."

"I'm sorry. I'll be right there." I told her.

I then turned to Shihyun-hyung. "Don't worry, hyung. I'll triple my efforts for this drama and get my scenes done before the promotions start."

He then patted my back and smiled. "Alright. I trust your words. You have a very good record when it comes to your work ethics anyway. Now go. Let's not make it hard for our make-up artists."

After giving him a nod, I immediately went to change and have my make-up done. Soon, the filming begun again and I quickly went into character and absorbed every personality my character has. The next thing I knew, I was completely immersed in my role which made my scenes easy to film.

_________

"Sorry, Wosik-hyung. The traffic in Daegu was really horrible. I'm parking my car in the private parking space of the studio. I'll be there in minutes." I replied to my manager over the phone as I was parking my car.

The filming went great and I finished my scenes for the 3rd episode in just an hour and a half. It was really fun to do so especially since I was doing it with the main cast. After my part was done, I drove to Seoul all the way from Daegu. I am now in SM C&C's studio where JTBC will be filming "Knowing Brothers".

"Don't worry about it. We still have about an hour and 30 minutes 'til filming starts. You can still have plenty of time. Be careful on your way here. The staff already knows you're coming over, so you just have to show your company ID." My manager replied.

"Oh thank God! I'm on my way!" I said as I turned the car engine off and checked if I had everything.

As soon as I finished, I went out, locked my car and wore my mask. The walk towards the entrance was short and the security guards recognized me as soon as I passed the entrance. Once in, I started sprinting over to the studio.

"Ya!" A familiar voice called.

I halted my steps and turned to the person who called. "What do you want?"

She rolled her eyes as she started approaching me with her arms crossed. "Ya… is that how you talk to your cousin?"

I scoffed. "Oh please Taeyeon-noona, you were the one ignoring me the entire time."

She showed me my ID as soon as I said that. "So I guess you won't be needing this then."

"Give it back." I said as I tried to snatch it away from her but failed to do so as she hid it behind her back.

Someone else got it for me as she snatched it away from her and gave it to me. "Just give it to him, Taeyeon-unnie. He's already running late for his show today."

I smiled at the person. "Thanks, Sooyoung-ah. I'll treat you guys sometime soon. Okay? I promise. I have to go now."

Taeyeon-smiled at me as she pinched my cheek. "Be careful with your things this time. Go. Enjoy being on the show."

"Bye, JayB-ya! I'm looking forward to that treat." She said as I gave them both a quick hug before running towards the dressing room for the show.

________

"Hello! We are the exchange students from the best high school in the city, Alpha High!" We said at the same time as soon as we finished lining up.

The filming for the show started and we just made our entrance in Knowing Brother's classroom. As soon as we entered, the cast for the show immediately became lively as they too were surprised. They didn't know that we were coming here today except for Heechul-sunbaenim.

(AN: I used the casual way of speaking since they need to speak casually in the show. I can't take out the casual speaking to the older people like the ones who are younger than JayB to emphasize that they are still older.)

Heechul-ie then stood up. "Ya! We're really in for a treat today! One of the best performing group is here! I just hope their humor is as good as their performance."

Yo Chul-ie then rolled his tongue inside his cheek as he gave Heechul-ie a sarcastic smile. "We all expect a lot of things. For example, I expected that your humor would be as great as your singing and dancing skills. But as we know, we can't have everything."

After Yo Chul-ie said that savage line, the people in the room erupted with cheers, oohs and laughter. It was the first time that Heechul-ie has met his match in terms of teasing and mocking. But we all knew that this was all fun and games, and none of it should be taken into heart.

Heechul-ie sat down slowly with a pout on his face as Hodong-ie laughed loudly in front of him. As soon as it quieted down, Soogeun-ie then spoke. "That was really impressive number 3."

Since it was our first time being here, we were asked to hide our nametags and replace it with numbers. It was according to age so it would be easier. Janghoon-ie then smiled at us. "So, why don't you properly introduce yourselves this time?"

I smiled at them before turning to my members. "2… 3…"

"Take the lead! Hello! We are Alpha!" After doing our greeting, the rest of the people applauded for us as we officially started the show.

Kyunghoon-ie then raised his hand. "So I'm guessing that we have to guess your names?"

Jiwoo then inserted himself as he answered the question. "Yes, but you have to find who the leader of the group is. Except for Heechul-ie since he already knows."

Sangmin-ie crossed his arms. "Isn't the leader obvious? He's really popular for his age."

Hodong-ie chuckled. "That's true. Even I know him."

Soogeun-ie doubted him. "Liar. An old man like you doesn't know a thing about kids these days."

Hodong-ie then rebutted. "What are you talking about? Of course I know who it is! It's JayB-ya!"

We were really impressed for guessing it right. But it was until Heechul-ie pulled a punchline that made us laugh hysterically. "So who's JayB-ya among them?"

"He's number 1, right?" Hodong-ie answered as he referred to Seiji-ah.

Everyone laughed at his answer. Soogeun-ie then explained the answer as he said. "He's like that, he secretly researches about the guests before the show starts."

Hodong-ie then retorted. "What are you talking about? None of us knew that they'd be coming today except for Heechul-ie."

Janghoon-ie's voice then boomed amidst the argument. "Then how did you know his name?"

He was then taken aback by the question. "Me?"

Zhang then butted in. "No… the table… of course it's you, idiot."

He then stood up and bowed exaggeratedly as everyone laughed. "Sorry, sir."

As everyone's laughter quieted down, Hodong-ie then continued explaining his side. "I researched about them when the writers were finding a way to contact them. We've been trying to get them on board since January, but they were busy so we couldn't get a hold of them. I was wondering why the writers were really trying their best to have them on the show, but after researching about them, I found out why."

We were really happy that the writers took the time to find a way to have us on the show. Despite all the busyness, we did our best to be able to come to this show. Soon, the cast begun guessing our names. It took them a while to get most of it since we were a mixed-race group. After a while, we ended up revealing our names.

"So there are two Chinese members, one Japanese member, two Americans, and one Thai. You guys are really culturally diverse." Kyunghoon-ie said which made us nod.

Hodong-ie then spoke to our Chinese members in Cantonese. Zee then turned to Zhang and spoke in Mandarin. "Can you understand what he's saying?"

Zhang then turned to Zee and answered him. "These idiot thinks he's speaking in Chinese, but he's basically mumbling random words like a toddler."

Hodong-ie then angrily stood up as he slammed his fist on the table which made everybody flinch. "Ya! Who are you calling an idiot toddler?"

"You, idiot toddler." Zee and Zhang answered nonchalantly at the same time which made the cast laugh.

Hodong-ie pouted as he slowly sat down. Janghoon-ie then asked. "What did they say?"

Hodong-ie sighed before he told the cast what Zhang and Zee talked about, which made everyone burst into laughter again. His level of self-esteem must be going down really fast because of Zhang. After all, Zhang-ah DOES overthink a lot, but he doesn't think first before he says anything. It's like his mouth is disconnected from his brain. That's why he ends up saying mean things at times.

"Waa… are your members usually like that, JayB-ya?" Heechul-ie asked.

I chuckled. "Mostly… yes."

Soogeun-ie then smirked. "You must be bullies to your hoobaes."

Yo Chul-ie then answered for the group. "Only to people who bully us first."

Soogeun-ie slowly lowered his head in fear of being bullied as the rest of the people laughed.

Heechul-ie then changed the topic. "Anyway, when JayB-ya and I spoke on the phone last night, I heard from him that most of you guys are fans of this show."

We all nodded in agreement as he said that. Youngchul-ie who has been quiet for some time finally asked. "May I ask who watched this show a lot?"

Jeong Do, Dominic, Zee, Jiwoo and Yo Chul-ie raised their hands. Soogeun-ie gasped. "Even the foreigners of the group love this show."

"I didn't expect Yo Chul to be a fan though." Youngchul-ie said.

Yo Chul-ie turned to him as he asked in a deep and flat tone. "Why do you say so?"

Youngchul-ie bowed his head in shame. "I'm sorry."

Everyone else laughed at his reply and we continued laughing as some of my members fell hard on the floor. Dominic then decided to say. "But seriously though, we're really a fan of this show."

Heechul noticed something and pointed it out. "Eyy… we told you guys that you can't speak formally here."

Matt-ya then explained it for Dominic. "It's not because he doesn't want to, but it's because he can't. He only knows how to speak formally. He tried practicing but he finds it weird."

Of course he finds it weird. He's a doctor after all. He needed to speak to his Korean patients and their families in a formal way. But they don't have to know that. It was then that Hodong-ie spoke again. "Then does he speak formally to the members as well?"

We all nodded and said 'yes' to his question. Matt-ya then continued. "Sometimes, he speaks to us SO formally that we ask him to tone it down a little."

"How does he say it?" Janghoon-ie asked.

Matt-ya then turned to me asking for help. I then smiled at them before I answered. "He sometimes greets us in the morning like, 'Ah. Good morning.'"

(AN: There are different ways to say it Korean not just by adding honorifics that can't be translated in English. Sorry.)

The rest of the cast laughed at how I tried to imitate Dominic. Heechul-ie even clapped as he laughed at me. "YA! Why do you have to sound like you're from the army?!"

He then started to try and imitate how Dominic might sound if he was in the army. The rest were almost on the floor because of how funny it looked. The laughter and fun didn't end there. We continued sharing some stuff before the director gave us the signal to move to the next segment.

"Ah! Before that, can we see you dance just once?" Janghoon-ie asked. He then admitted that the reason that he wasn't participating in the earlier segment is because he was a fan of Alpha. We were ecstatic to know that there's an avid fun right in front of us. Just for our fan, we decided to dance the first half of "Clap". He even teared up a little at the end of our performance as he told us that he wanted to see us on our Korean concerts and tours but wasn't able to because of the busy schedule. We then promised to give him a signed copy of our latest album once it was released. He was really happy about it to the point that he actually cried a little.

Soon we begun looking for our partners and started filming the second segment of the show where the cast gets to know more about the members through finishing the line or scenario of the question. Zee and Zhang were done with their turn. Jiwoo was up next as he made his way to the front with the toy hammer.

He then begun reading his question. "We are actually known as the kings of performances because of the way we prepare for our stage performance and as well as the songs we write, down to our synchronization. It is because we've spent most of our time together and get along so well. But there is this time almost every day when that I get annoyed by my members and I could say that we really don't get along."

Hongdo-ie then pondered about it. "That's too broad."

Heechul-ie then raised his hand. "Ahh! I know!"

Jiwoo called his attention. "Alright. Go ahead."

"You've spent the most time the time together. Right? So it must be when you guys are really close that when you are using the bathroom in your dorm as you brush your teeth, a member comes in and does their business without hesitation." He answered with exaggeration with his actions.

Yo Chul-ie who was behind him grabbed his shoulder. "Ya. Sit down."

The rest of us laughed as he nonchalantly obeyed Yo Chul-ie. Jiwoo then gave them a hint. "Wrong. But you're right that it happens in the dorm but NOT in the bathroom."

Hodong-ie then raised his hand as Jiwoo called his name. "You hate it when someone uses your special utensils!"

"Wrong! That's not it. Janghoon-ie." Jiwoo called the next person.

"You're annoyed when they wake you up." Janghoon-ie answered.

Jiwoo's eyes widened in surprise. "Woah! That's actually partly right."

"Ah. I know what it is." Seiji-ah said while leaning his back on the chair and crossing his arms.

"Yes, Seiji-ah. Woah… it still feels weird to talk casually to you. Anyway, please answer it." Jiwoo told Seiji-ah.

Seiji-ah stood up and begun expressing his answer excitedly. "It's when we suddenly go and barge into the maknae's room and wake you up telling you that you're already late when there's no schedule. But you hurriedly prepare for it anyway to the point that you do it while half asleep."

"That's right!" Jiwoo yelled.

Sangmin-ie chuckled. "Waaa… you really are bullies."

All of us laughed as soon as we he said that but Dominic butted in and said, "If you only knew how much the maknae line bullies us."

Heechul-ie then asked. "What do they do?"

Dominic rolled his eyes. "I can go on forever. But here's an example. One time… they placed a water balloon filled with squid ink in front of our bedrooms at night. The first person to go out would definitely be soaking wet once it pops. But here's the thing. There was this time where I was really tired from practice that night. We went home at around 1AM and I immediately fell asleep. After a few good hours, like around 3AM, I wanted to go to the bathroom so… once I opened the door… you know what happened next."

Jeong Do then almost fell from his seat from laughing. "Right! I remember the entire dorm shook when he yelled 'YA! YOU IDIOTS BETTER LOCK YOUR DOOR BEFORE I KILL YOU!' It was the first time I heard him speak informally!"

The room was filled with laughter once more as Jeong Do revealed that. Soon, Jiwoo's turn was over. Dominic, and the Hyung line finished their turn. Soon it was just Jeong Do and me. Jeong Do was already in front as he took out his question card.

"We are young but not THAT young. Especially since we've already come of age. There are things that men like us at this age do. But sadly, there was no time to do these things. But... I my members were doing it left and right. So I had to do it too. But our leader was in the way. There was a time that I actually had to beg our leader about something. It was because I couldn't stop being so obvious about it. What is it?" Jeong Do asked.

Soogeun-ie then raised his hand as Jeong Do called him. "I got it! You begged him to stop you from drinking because you were starting to get addicted to it."

All of us laughed because of his answer. Some of our members even fell on the floor because of it. Jeong Do on the other hand wasn't too happy about it as he approached Soogeun-ie and hit him with the toy hammer.

Youngchul-ie tried to answer. "So you were talking about something that needs to be obvious. So it has to be related to feelings. Right? So you begged JayB-ya to let you take on one part of the song that he produced because you wanted to confess."

Jeong Do's jaw dropped. "That was actually close."

Heechul-ie then stood up as he tried to get Jeong Do's attention. Jeong Do then called him. "I know! I know this! JayB-ya is close friends with your current girlfriend. But back then you pretty jealous about it and couldn't control yourself. So you begged JayB-ya to help you out a little so you can confess to her in the future. Am I right?"

"Correct!" Jeong Do yelled.

We all applauded at the answer. It was pretty much accurate. I wonder how he found out about it. Just then Janghoon-ie asked. "So who's your current girlfriend?"

Everyone snapped their heads towards him as Kyunghoon-ie glared at him. "What do you mean 'current'? Are you hoping for them to break up or something?"

He was taken aback when he heard that before he retaliated. "No! That's not what I meant!"

Heechul-ie added fuel to the fire as teased him. "Ya… I didn't know you were this kind of person, Janghoon-ie."

Janghoon-ie just lowered his head and shook it. He didn't feel like fighting back anymore which made everybody laugh. Then Sangmin-ie then continued. "So who IS your girlfriend?"

Janghoon-ie rolled his eyes. "OH! So it's okay for him to ask that?"

Heechul-ie then answered. "Because he's not expecting them to break up."

After everyone had a good laugh, Jeong Do then answered their question. "My girlfriend is Sana-ya. Minatozaki Sana."

Youngchul-ie gasped. "From Twice? Wow! You are really fortunate!"

"Thank you. I would say that I really am." Jeong Do happily said.

Janghoon-ie then asked. "So how long have you been dating now?"

Heechul-ie then teased again. "You're still expecting them to split up?"

Everybody cracked up once again as soon as he said that. But Jeong Do was starting to pity him so he answered straight away. "It's been more than a year now."

The rest of them clapped as soon as they heard that. Janghoon-ie then asked. " Wow! I didn't know that anyone could last that long in this industry. So does anyone else have any girlfriends?"

Soogeun-ie then turned to Janghoon-ie. "Why? Are you hoping for them to break up with their girlfriends too?"

The rest of the cast cracked up before Yo Chul-ie interrupted. "And you call us bullies."

They all piped down and started apologizing which made it more hilarious. Matt-ya didn't allow it to go further as he answered for the group. "Except for JayB-ya and Seiji-ya, we all are dating someone."

"Who says that I'm not dating anyone? If she heard this from you, she would be devastated." Seiji-ya rebutted.

All of us turned to him in surprise. It was the first time that we were hearing this. My jaw fell as I asked him, "Are you serious? Who is it?"

"You know her. We've hung out with her a lot. But I'm not telling you yet. She told me that she'd be the one to reveal it the moment she's asked about it on a TV show." He answered.

Hodong-ie then rolled his eyes. "Eyy… fine. We can't force you to tell us anyway. So how about the rest?"

Jiwoo raised his hand so he could answer. "I'll answer for the entire group. Will that be okay?"

Most of us nodded except for Zee who asked that it would be better to keep his girlfriend a secret for now since she hasn't debuted yet. The cast allowed it since they knew that we had the right to keep our private lives separated.

Jiwoo then went on to answer the question. "Most of us are dating Twice's members except for Matt-hyung… I mean Matt-ya…"

Before he could finish, Hodong-ie suddenly butted in. "Ya! Don't talk formally."

Kyunghoon-ie then also butted in but was trying to save us. "Ya! Don't insert yourself and let him finish. You can't just b.u.t.t in with one mistake like that."

The rest of us were trying not to laugh so hard since our stomachs and jaws were already hurting from all the laughing. Kyunghoon-ie then gave the signal for Jiwoo to continue speaking. "So like I said. Matt-ya is dating Lisa from Blackpink."

"Waa… two dancers of different groups. You both complement each other." Heechul-ie said.

Sangmin-ie then went on to ask. "So who's dating which member in Twice?"

Jiwoo then answered their question by telling them who was dating who. Heechul-ie then brought a question that made me snap my head at him. "Is Momo-ya dating anyone?"

"No she isn't… for now." Jiwoo answered sincerely.

Hodong-ie didn't let this escape. "Oh right! You're a big fan of Twice especially with Momo-ssi!"

The room erupted into teasing which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable since they were all discussing a lot about love lives. Thankfully, the director signaled Jeong Do to move on to the next question.

"So… ever since we debuted, I've been one of the main vocals for the group. But at first, I had to deny this position many times. Why is that?" Jeong Do asked.

Dominic then added something. "The members can't answer this one since we already know the answer."

"Do you?" Youngchul-ie asked as we replied with a nod. They gave a variety of answers that were really far from the real answer but it was still funny nonetheless.

We were running out of time so Jeong Do was about to reveal the answer for them when Heechul-ie then gave his opinion about the position of a main vocal. "I still don't get the fact why you don't want to be in that position. Many would kill for that position. I know we're supposed to guess the answer, but do you mind telling us instead?"

Jeong Do nodded. "It's because there's someone more deserving to be in this position more than I did."

Kyunghoon-ie became confused. "More deserving? Who?"

Jeong Do gestured towards me. "JayB-ya… he has a higher vocal range than me. His singing voice is much more stable than mine too. Plus, he can sing like an angel."

Because of this, we ended up having a range test between me and the vocal line. It's basically us singing Do Re Mi until we reach the highest octave that we could. In the end, Zhang managed to grab first place with ease while I came in second place. They then agreed that I should have been the other main vocal, but I told them the reason why I wanted to be the Main Dancer of the group and they respected that.

Finally, my turn came up but I was told that I would only get to ask one question since we were running out of time. It was already almost dinner time and we still need to finish the filming in this set first before heading to the next one. We still need to practice after this one too so I better make this quick.

I then breathed out as I chose the first question that I saw on the card. "Before I became a trainee at SM entertainment, I actually met one of the casts of this show. At first, I looked like a rude person since I suddenly pulled him out of car. He was really mad at me at first but when he turned around and saw the truth, he thanked me instead and treated me to a meal. We became really good friends ever since. Question is, who is this person and why was he really grateful about it?"

The person that I was referring too looked down as he smiled really happily. He then pretended to answer randomly while making it seem funny. The rest of the cast members and some of my members tried answering as well. None of my members have ever heard this story before, so they were also participating. To this day, this was one of the things that I was really proud of.

The time ticked out and the director gave us the signal to answer the question. I nodded at the director before I sighed. "So before…"

"Wait!" Heechul-ie smiled as he stopped me. He then stood up slowly. "Is it okay if I tell them?"

Soogeun-ie must have thought that he was joking since he asked him to sit down. "You already answered enough. I'm dying to know who it is! Let him speak already."

I chuckled. "Heechul-ie, why don't you tell them what REALLY happened 11 years ago?"

They all snapped their heads at Heechul-ie waiting for him to explain himself. "I was just going along with him earlier to make it more interesting. But the truth is, I was the guy he met years ago."

He then explained what happened on my behalf. But I'm going to tell you what REALLY happened through my eyes. It was when I was walking towards my apartment that one night since my car broke down. While I was scanning through my phone, I saw a speeding truck heading for a car. Then I saw a person inside a car who was not responding to it. It turns out that that person was Heechul and was barely awake to see the speeding truck. I then remembered that Heechul had an accident earlier in his career in the previous world. It was different in this world because he wasn't driving it. It was just parked. Base on the speed of the truck, he was destined to die!

Without any second thoughts, I rushed towards his car and unbuckled his seat. He was pretty drunk to stand not alone fight back so I grabbed his collar and pulled him out of the car while dragging him away. Imagine this with me, a kid… pulling out a grown man out of his car. It was strenuous on my part. He was about to beat me up when the truck hit his car and he sobered up after what he saw. Because of that, we became really good friends.

"That's what happened. I met him again in person the following year after he auditioned for SM. I really owe my life to him." Heechul-ie explained.

I chuckled. "Yeah, he was pretty drunk that time and was about to beat me up when I dragged him out of the car."

"Ya! You didn't need to tell them that!" He yelled out of embarrassment which made the rest of us laugh.

The shoot continued on in various sets. It was a very fun but exhausting shoot. We shot for hours and didn't even noticed it. Soon, it ended and we exchanged some contacts with some of the casts so that we could hang out with them some time soon. They were really happy and were looking forward to it too. It's now 15 minutes past 10PM and there was one more schedule left. Dance practice…

"I just can't wait to get home…" Seiji-hyung complained for nth time again tonight.

It was already 30 minutes past 2AM in the morning and we were all pretty much exhausted from today's schedule and we had another schedule tomorrow at 10AM in the morning. We needed to sleep immediately when we get home tonight.

Matt-hyung sighed as he heard him say that. "Please, stop complaining. Otherwise, I'll feel even more exhausted than I already am."

Zee was leaning over Matt-hyung since he barely had enough strength to stand. "Let's just hurry up okay?"

Suddenly, my phone started ringing. Yo Chul-hyung turned to me and raised his brow. "Who would call you at 2AM in the morning?"

"Our beloved manager." I answered back.

He gave me an "Oh" before I chuckled. "You guys go ahead, I'll catch up."

I waited for them to leave before I answered the phone. "Hyung, what's up? We're almost at the parking area. Why didn't you wait 'til then?"

He then sighed. "I'm not picking you up for now, JayB-ya. Ming Do-ssi and the other managers will be driving you home. I just finished a meeting with PD-nim. He wants to talk to you right now."

Before I could answer back, I heard that his phone was being handed over to PD-nim. "JayB-ya. You made a mistake today."

I tried to recall it but nothing seemed to come into mind. "I apologize for not remembering, PD-nim, but what is it again?"

"A surprise VLIVE. It's your turn. The fans already commented about it on our website. Good thing that they understood that you were pretty much busy with your schedules and comeback preparations that they weren't really that disappointed about it when you forgot." He explained in a disappointed voice.

I pinched the bridge of my nose as I sighed heavily. "Right… I forgot. I'm really truly sorry."

PD-nim also sighed in return. "I understand. I checked with your managers and saw that there really wasn't a time for you to do a LIVE today because of the schedule. Make sure you find time tomorrow."

"I'll do it first thing in the morning." I answered.

He hummed. "Uhuh. Okay."

"Is there anything else, PD-nim?" I asked just to make sure.

He then sighed. "Oh yes, JayB-ya… About tomorrow's Anniversary... What are your plans about it?"
