"Yes, JayB-ssi. She's at her hotel room resting up after her flight. We'll told her to be prepared at around 10AM in the morning. She's yours until then. And oh, we've already informed the hotel about your arrival. So no need to worry." Ji-Eun's manager told me over the phone.

I thanked him and boarded the plane to Indonesia. As soon as I landed in Soekarno-Hatta, Jakarta's International Airport, I immediately looked for the driver that the company hired ahead. After seeing the driver holding up a sign with my fake name on it, I immediately went to him. They already instructed him about me using a fake name. Of course I can't use my real name here. It'll cause chaos.

I boarded the taxi and as we were driving, I really got excited. It's been weeks since I saw her. That's excluding the day that she went to our fan meeting. We barely had time there. Plus, I had a 5-day coma. So I need to really spend time with her.

Wait for me Ji-Eun-ah, I'll give you the surprise of your life.

IU's POV

I felt the sun hit my face as I slowly woke up. I sat down on my bed and started stretching. Then I thought about my boyfriend who was still in a hospital bed in South Korea, and it made me feel lonely.

I sighed. "I wish he was here with me."

Turning to the empty bed beside me, I realize that it was too big just for myself. I wish was here. It would make it feel less lonely.

I then blushed a sudden thought of him being beside me.

"What are you doing Lee Ji-Eun?! Stop thinking about those kinds of thoughts!" I sternly told myself.

I stretched one more time to get the sleepiness away and checked my clock. It's quarter to 7AM here so it was still too early to prepare.

"Should I just take a nap again?" I pondered before shrugging it off and heading back to bed.

When I was about to close my eyes again, I then caught the smell of a familiar food.

"Did I order food or is someone here? Is someone cooking in my hotel room?" I asked myself in worry.

My bedroom was separated from the living room suite and the kitchen. It was a really big room that JYP PD-nim got me. He said that it was JayB's orders and that he'll pay for it. I sometimes wonder why he has so much power over the CEO of the company.

I was a little bit worried about what was going on so I slowly went to the door to take a peek outside.

JayB's POV

After arriving at her hotel room, I slowly snuck inside her room and started preparing to cook. It was almost 6AM on my watch so it would be a while before she would be waking up. She's not really a morning person and she really loves to sleep.

"I guess I should cook faster." I said to myself.

I started preparing sweet potato dishes because these were her favorites. I was also thinking of preparing raw fish but having it over for breakfast would be too much. I decided to treat her to sushi over lunch.

After what seemed like a long time of preparing, I was just preparing the kimchi that I brought from home. I know that she probably misses this already after a few days of being abroad.

As I was setting up the table, I heard the door from the bedroom door slightly open. I snapped my head towards where it was coming from and saw her beautiful morning face peek through the door.

"Hey… Good morning, love. I was going to wake you up a bit later to surprise you bu-" I couldn't even finish my sentence because she suddenly ran towards me and gave me a hug.

She was tightly hugging me with her arms and with her legs as well. I really missed her so much and I know from our short encounter that she misses me too.

After a moment of staying like that and just feeling each other's warmth through that hug, she finally decides to let go.

"What are you doing here?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

I wiped it with my thumb. "I got the week off after I got out from the hospital."

She then clasped my face with both her hands. "You're really here."

"I am." I assured her.

"Aren't you still hurt? Shouldn't you be resting?" She asked.

I then shook my head. "I'm fine. I'm better now. I even got an approval from the doctor."

She nodded at me while I slowly kissed her forehead.

"I really missed you, you know?" She said.

"I missed you too." I answered back.

I then asked her to eat with me and when she saw the dishes that I prepared, she was pretty much surprised. I guess she didn't know that I could cook. I laughed at her reaction because there were a lot of things that she didn't know about me.

"Ah!" She suddenly remembered something and frantically turned around.

I panicked and went in front of her as she kept on turning her face against me. "What's wrong?"

"I don't have my make up on yet. I must have looked really ugly just now. Please don't look at me." She said.

I chuckled before giving her a back hug. "I love you for who you are, okay? Besides, it's not the first time I saw you like this."

I then pecked a kiss on her cheek and sat her down the chair to eat with her. We talked about how her concert went and what happened while she was away. She was really lonely and worried about me.

"Oh yeah… I wanted to ask you about something." She suddenly changes the topic.

I turn to face her as I scooped a large portion of rice and placed it inside my mouth.

"What's that?" I said with my mouth full.

"Who are you? Why do you and the members of Alpha hold so much power? It's like you're on a different level." She asked.

I choked on the food after hearing that. She was really curious about it.

I really can't hide this from her anymore.

I sighed before slowly telling everything about who we really are.

She was really silent at first. Then as I went on with my story, I felt like she felt betrayed or lied to based on her reactions. It was really uncomfortable for me now. Although she didn't say anything, I think she was already angry about the fact that I didn't tell her who I really was.

"So… you're a really rich person… who just wanted to be an idol… am I right?" She slowly said.

I nodded in response.

"Wow! I can't believe that I'm with someone who's this powerful! You're becoming more amazing in my eyes Kim Jinbo!" She said in an excited tone which confused me.

Is she serious right now?

Why isn't she getting mad?

"That's it? Aren't you angry? Aren't you going to scream at me for not telling you?" I asked her in a confused tone.

She laughed. "Why would I be angry at you? You had your reason to keep this from me. It would end up hurting a lot of people if this gets out. I know that's why you had to protect your identity at all cost. I knew there was something more to the story when Sulli-ya told me that she couldn't mention more about what actually happened when she got taken!" She said as if she was putting pieces together.

"So… you're not mad?" I tried to confirm again.

"Mad? More like proud! I can't believe my boyfriend is a prodigy!" She said as she stood up and went behind me to hug me.

I slowly held her hand. "What did I ever do to deserve such an understanding girlfriend like you?"

"Umm… You said yes to a drama and got your partners first kiss." She replied sarcastically.

We both laughed at continued to enjoy our breakfast together.

"Thank you so much Jakarta! I really am enjoying my time here. You guys are really amazing!" IU told her fans.

The fans happily responded with cheers and shouts.

"Now I'm almost at the end part of my concert, but I'll still be singing for you guys for… I think about… 30 minutes more or so." She announced which made the crowd cheer for more.

She giggled. "But before that, I would like to invite someone special up on stage."

The crowd started to whisper in murmurs which could be heard throughout the stadium.

She continued to speak, "Uaenas… Please help me welcome up on stage, my boyfriend, JayB from Alpha."

I made my way to the stage the moment she announced my name. I could barely hear anything else other than her fans' shouts and cheers as I walked towards her. It only became louder as she approached me and started hugging me and burying her face on my c.h.e.s.t. I hugged her back before letting her go and wiping a tear on her face.

"You really smell good." She said as soon as the crowd quieted down

"Ji-Eun-ah… you didn't have to say that." I replied embarrassingly as the fans started screaming again.

She then giggled. "So I prepared a seat for you. This is like a VVVVIP seat. I wanted to sing you a song that you wrote for me."

"Really? Will it be 'Knees'?" I asked her.

She gave me a shushing sign. "It was supposed to be a surprise."

I chuckled. "How can it be? You sang that song in your concert in Singapore. Even the fans know it. Right?"

The fans responded with a loud yes.

"Well, I'm going to sing it for you anyway. It's different when you're not with me." She said which earned loud squeals and screaming from the audience.

The music started playing and she sang the song. She was the most beautiful when she sings. Her expressions would always look so pure and innocent. She was a living embodiment of an angel.

We locked eyes as soon as she started singing. I had to remind her to look at the audience from time to time. At the last chorus, she started approaching me and held my hand. It was really sweet of her to do so. The audience must have felt the sincerity too since they too were screaming.

The audience applauded loudly when the song ended.

"Do you know that you're at your most beautiful state when you're singing like that?" I accidentally asked out loud.

Oops.

The crowd took that well and started cheering, telling us to kiss. IU on the other hand started blushing madly.

"Come on, Ji-Eun-ah… I have a surprise for you too." I stood up and sat her down on the chair that she prepared for me.

"JayB-ah… what's going on?" She asked.

I chuckled before c.a.r.e.s.sing her face slowly. "Wait for a second. 'kay?"

I then went to one of her managers who I asked to prepare something for me. He then handed me a guitar that I asked and checked it if it was working.

"So… while I was watching you prepare for your concert tonight, I actually thought about how fortunate I am to have you in my life." I told.

The crowd chorused a loud "awwe".

"It made me think about doing something special for you tonight." I told her.

She then joked. "My goodness… you're not going to propose, are you?"

I then replied. "We'll probably get there someday."

The crowd went wild as I said that.

"So I thought about this song today and I think I'll probably include this in Alpha's next album. But I believe these is what I want to say to you today." I told her.

She then smiled a little when she heard me say that. "Alright. I'm actually excited to hear it."

"You should be. You always told me to write a song FOR you. So I hope you'll like this." I said as I started strumming the guitar.

"This song is called 'Smile Flower'. I hope you guys will like it too." I told her fans.

They started clapping their hands as soon as I started plucking the guitar.

I looked at Ji-Eun and thought of all the time that we spent together up to now. It was really worth the fight and the risk. That is why I'm dedicating this beautiful song by Seventeen called Smile Flower for her.

I then started singing…

I then gave a small nod to the manager to who I asked to do something for me earlier. He then gave a signal to one of the members of the stage crew to pull a lever. It started raining with blue rose petals. When she saw this, she started crying. I then continued to sing the song.

I then smiled and winked at her. For her, it might seem like I was acting cute, but in truth, it was a signal for some special people to come in. Yeah… people…

Her family went in first. Next was Sulli-noona, Suzy-noona, Taeyeon-sunbaenim and Yoo In Na-sunbaenim. These were her best friends in the entertainment circle. I asked a favor from them to come and visit Ji-Eun because I know she was feeling a bit down. I had to fly them here with my money. It was such a heart-warming scene watching them hug one another in reunion.

After her friends and family were talking to her, they sat her back down and asked her to listen intently to the song.

She suddenly stood up and started approaching me in tears. Every step she took, I sang with my heart.

She was already in front of me crying as she slowly c.a.r.e.s.sed my face. I then spoke the lyrics of the song.

She then went around me and hugged me from behind which made it hard to play but I didn't mind.

The audience applauded as they wiped away their tears. She was still hugging me from behind while burying her face on my back and crying heavily. The manager came and took the guitar from me. He gave it to one of the guys as he started playing the song as a background music.

"Thanks for being for here her guys." I told her friends and family.

They just responded with a big thumbs up and applause. Her mother and her friends started crying. So I had to stop this sad atmosphere. It was supposed to be a joyous one.

"Hey, come on. Stop crying." I tried to pull her off me but she w.h.i.n.ed like a little kid and hugged me tighter.

"Ji-Eun-ah, I can't breathe." I told her which made her let go.

I turn to face her and saw how messy her face was from all the crying. So I wiped her tears away and called for her make-up artist to come and give her a retouch.

"Why did you do that?" She suddenly spoke through the mic.

"What? What did I do?" I asked not sure of what she meant.

She then slowly lifted her mic. "Why do you always make my heart flutter?"

The crowd screamed and squealed the moment they heard that. It was really loud.

I chuckled. "Do you really have to ask? I can do this much, right? After all, I love you."

It only made the stadium shook in excitement from all the screams and squeals made by the fans.

She didn't respond. Instead, she just planted a deep long kiss on my lips in front of thousands of fans, her friends and family.

But happiness is temporary in this industry…

AN: I cried while listening to Smile Flower by Seventeen while writing this chapter. It's so satisfying to actually write a chapter with no conflict. This is for the fans out there. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
