I Got Reincarnated As A Prodigal K-POP Superstar

"PARTY! WOOH!" Jiwoo said excitedly in our car.

Tonight, the different entertainment companies hosted their own parties. Even idols from different companies can come visit. I plan to visit them all later on.

We were all inside our company cars and were now heading towards JYP's grand hall to celebrate with the rest of our labelmates and as well as other artists. Tonight was expected to be a great night!

What could possibly go wrong?

"We can finally rest up now." I said.

"Don't ease up now guys. We still have to finish our practice for the song festival and to finish the choreography for most of our songs in the new album." Matt-hyung said.

We all g.r.o.a.n.e.d at what he said.

Can he just chill for like a second?

Sometimes his mother-like features are so high that I feel like I'm being nagged at by my own mother.

Jiwoo rolled his eyes and said. "Come on, hyung. We're about to party for the first time in 3 years! Lighten up!"

I also supported Jiwoo's claim. "He's right you know. Tomorrow's practice starts at 2PM in the afternoon. So relax, hyung."

He raised his hands and said. "Fine! We can have fun even until dawn."

Jiwoo and I cheered and high-fived after he said that.

"But no drinking!" He continued.

Both of us g.r.o.a.n.e.d and complained.

"JayB-ah! You're finally here!" Suzy-noona hugged me as I arrived in the room.

The music was blaring loud in here. People were dancing while others sat down talking to their fellow members or were talking to other people. Even people from other companies were here. Winner was here together with the group that passed Show Me Your Case which was a group called IKON.

"You look great, noona." I said.

She twirled around showing off her dress. "Like it? It's actually a gift from the company. My members and I were really happy to receive it. This reward wasn't possible if you didn't write us that song."

I shook my head and said, "It was purely because you guys are amazing at what you do. Not because of the song that I wrote for you."

She clung into my arms and said, "Stop being humble. It doesn't suit you."

I slowly removed my arm from her and said, "Noona, we've talked about this."

She rolled her eyes and said. "You're still single JayB-ah. That means I can still do this."

I pinched her cheek before whispering, "I know you're just doing this to make Taecyeon-hyung jelous."

She blushed. "Is it really that obvious?"

I chuckled. "I know that he's the reason why you said yes to being casted in 'Dream High' in the first place. Even though your schedule was really packed. Minzy-noona was supposed to be casted instead of you, but you actually asked PD-nim and Minzy-noona to let you play the role. She, of course, agreed because she knew about your crush about Taecyeon-hyung."

She then covered my mouth as she checked if anyone heard that. "How did you know all that?"

I grabbed her hand and slowly removed it. "Minzy-noona told me. Of course, when I heard it, it made sense why you're so clingy towards me whenever he's around."

I then smiled at her before patting her shoulder. "Hyung likes you too, noona. Both of you are just so slow that you guys aren't making any progress. Someone has to make the first move."

She raised her eyebrow at me. "Oh yeah? How sure are you that he likes me too?"

I leaned closer to her and whispered to her ear. "Because he couldn't stop looking at us the moment you clung on to my arm."

I leaned back and winked at her before walking away leaving her there all stunned.

After sitting down on the table where my members were, I saw Taecyeon-hyung approach Suzy-noona before they headed out of the venue. They probably went out to talk.

That's my girl…

Soon, the people in the place started staring at the entrance of the hall.

"What's going on in there?" Zee asked.

"I don't know." I answered.

The woman was wearing a beautiful shining silver dress and was heading towards me. She smiled and waved at me.

I slowly stood up and headed towards her.

"Wow! Noona, you look amazing!" I complemented her.

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. You decided to reject me yesterday, remember?."

IU-noona's being harsh today.

"Anyway, I came to thank you for the song." She replied as she turned her frown in to a smile.

"Sure thing, noona. I'll give you another album next year." I told her.

She placed a hand in front of me signaling me to stop talking. "Please. Don't. I don't want to take advantage of you."

I was confused with what she said. "But noona, I'm the one who's insisting. You're not forcing me to do anything. Remember? I was the one who promised you a song."

"Please, JayB-ah. Don't do this to me. I'm already confused as it is." She told me as her voice was breaking.

I calmly assessed the situation and came to a conclusion.

"I'm confusing your feelings, aren't I?" I asked her almost as if it was a whisper.

She gave me a sad smile as she nodded.

I sighed before I gave her a sad smile of my own. "Noona, I'm doing this as a friend."

"As a friend…" She repeated.

I gulped at her tone.

"JayB-ah… you know I have feelings for you. So I don't know if I could receive songs from you thinking that it's for me. Because obviously… they're not." She said.

"Noona…" I tried calming her down but she raised her hand in front of me again.

"For now… let's keep our distance from each other. Okay?" Before I could stop her, she immediately turned her back away from me and walked away.

An arm suddenly wrapped over my shoulder.

"Girl problems?" Yo Chul-hyung asked.

It was weird because he never really talks but he shows that he cares most for the members. Especially in the worse times. Even if he has a cold personality, he's really a softy.

"Hyung… what do I do?" I asked.

He dragged me back to our seat while patting my back. "I think you should give it a shot. If it doesn't work then stop it. Just be honest with her. Okay? You are not bound by any promise to this mystery woman of yours anyway."

Hyung's right. I think I should at least give this a shot and see where this goes.

"But what if she'll ask about IU-noona someday." I asked Yo Chul-hyung.

He smiled at me. "Any girlfriend you'll have in the future would probably ask that regardless."

He's right.

"Now sit down. The show's about to start." He said as he sat me down on my seat before heading for his own seat.

Then the music slowly turned off.

"Good evening everyone!" All of our attention was directed to the man standing on the stage. It was JYP PD-nim.

"I would like to thank you all for coming. Tonight, I just want everyone to enjoy to their hearts content. Whether you are from this company or not, a trainee or an idol, everyone is the same for tonight under this roof. We're just artists who want to make music. So let's enjoy the rest of the night. Congratulations to everyone who got an award tonight! Cheers!" He announced.

Everyone cheered as they lifted up their glass.

PD-nim then continued. "Oh before I forget. I want to thank someone for the awards that were garnered under this company… Producer JayB."

Me?

"Thank you for writing such amazing songs! 90% of the awards that JYP Entertainment gained is because of you. But even if the 10% didn't go to us, all those awards were because of the songs that you've written. So thank you and I want you to know that I'm proud you. To JayB!" He led everyone to a toast again.

After what happened earlier with IU-noona, I really felt like I didn't deserve this kind of praise. But I gave the crowd a smile nonetheless before sitting back down.

The night went on and before I knew it, I was already taking out my anger on the dance floor. I wanted to drink it all away but Yo Chul-hyung and Matt-hyung were keeping close tabs on me making sure that I didn't do anything stupid.

So I decided to dance it all away. The crowd started forming a circle to give more way for me dance. Little did I know that a simple cooling off would turn into a heated dance battle with other members from different groups.

When the battle got a little too intense I decided to be the better man and back off before this escalates into a scene. The rest got the gist and decided to do the same. We shook our hands and just pretended that it didn't happen.

I didn't want Matt-hyung to jump in to a fight. He might actually murder someone accidentally. He's that strong.

I decided to go to the balcony on the second floor to get some air and cool off.

While I was leaning on the balcony while watching the moon stare back at me, I could feel someone creeping up behind me.

I sighed. "Park Sooyoung, I swear, if you try to startle me I'm going to tickle you to death."

She then hugged me from behind while giggling. "How did you know it was me?"

I turned around while giving her back a hug. In the process I went in to deep thought and forgot to answer her back.

"Are you okay? You always hug me like this when you have a lot on your mind." She asked as she still held me tightly.

"Let me just stay like this for a while…" I told her.

For a good few minutes. We stayed that way. When I finally calmed down, I slowly let go of her.

She then gave me a small smile before she stood beside me. "Are you ready to talk now?"

I gave a small nod.

"Let me guess. You still love THAT girl, but someone else likes you. And this person wants to stay away because you don't like her back. But you don't want that, but you also don't know how to respond to this person's feelings." She said.

I chuckled. "You know me so well."

She sighed. "Well, you HAVE been doing that ever since we became trainees at SM. There were plenty of girls that asked you out yet you rejected them. You even have a nickname in SM now."

"Really? What is it?" I asked,

She giggled. "Mr. Heartbreaker."

I sighed while covering my face in shame.

She patted my back while chuckling. "Don't feel too bad about it."

"What am I going to do, Sooyoung-ah?" I asked her.

"Give it a shot. There's no harm, right?" She replied.

I gave her a sad look. "What if it doesn't work?"

She just gave me a shrug and said, "Then it doesn't. Nobody is really sure in life, JayB-ah. But here's the thing. Don't you think it's better to try and see if it works rather than one day coming to a realization of what-could-have-been?"

The moment I heard that, I realized that I have been blinded all along. This wasn't the previous world. There was no guarantee that she'd be the same. Although I have no feelings for IU-noona, it wouldn't hurt to at least try and teach my heart, right?

"I'll think about it. But thank you." I told her.

"Don't think about it too much. You have a tendency to overthink things. And consider this a sign of my thanks for our debut song." She said.

I gave her a hug. "What would I do without you?"

She chuckled and said, "You'd die a loner."

I laughed at her joke before I realized that I had a gift for her. "Oh that reminds me."

I pulled out a flash drive from my coat and handed it to her. "Here's my congratulatory gift for you."

She cringed at the sight. "Thanks… I guess… now I can finally save my word doc.u.ments. Yay…"

Her being sarcastic made me shake my head. She doesn't really know how to ask the right questions. "It's a set of songs for Red Velvet's second album called Perfect Velvet. There are nine songs all in all in there. The title track is called Peek-A-Boo. I think you'll enjoy singing that song. I suggest that you start recording now. I'm pretty sure the hype from the your debut, Happiness, would only last about 4-5 months. By then, I'm sure you guys will be ready. So… if you don't want it, I'm willing to give it to someone else." As soon as I finished saying that I pretended to take back the flash drive from her.

She immediately evaded my hand by hiding the flash drive behind her back. "I-I was just kidding earlier. Geez JayB-ah! Can't you take a joke?"

I chuckled at her reaction. "Come on. I'm going to go around and give people the songs that I promised them. How about you come with me? I want to introduce you to someone anyway."

She then raised her eyebrow in curiosity. "Really? Who?"

"Wow! Thank you, JayB! This really means a lot to us!" Yook Sungjae said as he hugged me.

"No problem. By the way, this is my best friend, Park Sooyoung. She's a huge fan of yours." I said.

Sungjae took Sooyoung's hand as they greeted each other.

"It's a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you, Sungjae-sunbae." Sooyoung said in a timid voice.

"You don't have to be so formal with me. A friend of JayB, is a friend of mine. By the way, aren't you one of those rookies that debut today? From SM Entertainment right? What was that? Umm... Red Velvet?" He said.

"Yes…" She replied.

Sungjae chuckled. "You don't have to be shy around me. You can ask me or JayB anything about the industry. We can help you anytime."

"Well then, why don't you start now? I'll leave you guys alone to talk. I need to find someone." I said.

Joy was panicking the moment I said that, but I know Sungjae is an easy person to talk to. I immediately went to my table but found my members missing.

"JayB-ah?" A familiar voice called.

I turned around and saw a beautiful girl wearing a short white c.o.c.ktail dress. "Noona? What are you doing here?"

Yo Chul-hyung then joined the conversation as he intertwined his hand with Victoria-noona's. "She's actually here with me. I invited her."

He smiled at her. It was really lovely to see them finally together. I heard Yo Chul-hyung tell Seiji-hyung that the moment we would win our first major award was when he'd ask Victoria-noona out. I guess it worked.

"Oh by the way! JayB-ah! Someone dropped this for you. The person asked me to give this to you the moment I entered this place." Victoria-noona said.

She handed me a big box. Which was practically suspicious. It was a well-wrapped gift.

"Did the person tell you their name?" I asked as I got the box from her.

"No… but she said something weird." She said as she pondered.

Yo Chul-hyung was shocked. "Her? It's a 'her'? Another girl?"

"Why are you getting jealous?" Victoria-noona crossed her arms.

"I'm not! I'm just shocked that JayB's got a lot of girls hanging around him." He tried to retort.

Noona just shook her head and chuckled. "Well anyway, she said that 'you need to stop whatever you are doing or else.'"

The moment we heard that, my eyes widened. Yo Chul-hyung immediately got the box from me and called out for Matt-hyung. When Matt-hyung heard the call, he rushed to see what was going on.

"What? What's up?" He asked.

"JayB-ah, get the members to the balcony. I'll meet you there." Yo Chul-hyung said. I just nodded in response before I headed out to find the rest of the members.

He then turned to Victoria-noona. "I'll be right back, sweetie."

"Is there something wrong? Did I do something wrong?" She asked in a worried tone.

Yo Chul-hyung then kissed her cheek and said, "Of course not. We just need to see if this box is safe. So why don't you stay near the entrance just in case, okay? I'll come and find you once we know it's safe."

She just smiled sadly and nodded in response.

Victoria-noona knows who we really are because she belongs to a prestigious family in China. Her parents also owns a clothing line under the Song Group which my family heavily invests on.

After a few minutes, we were finally gathered on the balcony.

"Is it a bomb?" Zee asked.

Matt-hyung came close to the box and started feeling it.

He then turned to us and said, "It's fine. It's not a bomb. Just a regular gift. But I can't shake off the feeling that something eerie is inside."

Seiji-hyung then went near. "Wait. I know this smell."

"What is it, hyung?" Zhang said as he bended over to ask.

"It smells like… blood…" as soon as he said that, a chill ran down my spine.

Jeong Do then said in a serious tone, "Open it…"

I nodded as I slowly opened the box.

The moment the box was opened, we all gasped in surprise.

"What the hell?!" Jiwoo yelled.

"You only belong to me, JayB-oppa." Zhang read out loud the letter which was written in fresh blood.

Behind the letter were different parts of what seems like an animal's innards. There was even a picture of IU-noona that was torn to shreds.

Dominic took in a deep breath and sighed deeply before he said in a sarcastic tone, "Yipee. Look at this, JayB-ah. Your first saesang fan letter."

AN: Sometimes, I wonder why people would go to great lengths just to do something stupid for their idols.
