The day after returning from Philippine city.

In the vast forest with the royal palace, there was a tacket in the mountains all the way north. From here, the topography tends to be mountainous, and snow still remains at the top of the mountain from the foot.

At the rugged rocks at the foot, Taketo was practicing the Spirit Gun alone.

You don't have to worry about the gunfire or the sound if you're so far from the city. Of course, I couldn't come this far alone, so Chante brought me here in Ulu.

The tacket holds the gun with both hands toward the mark drawn on the cliff of the cut rock.

Targeting itself is not a problem because I was originally trained as a detective to shoot often. I was good at shooting.

The problem was that the Spirit Gun was still unable to accurately convey instructions to the Spirit in the Magic Stone Bullet, and it was difficult to control the breadth and effect of the ballistics as desired.

The wider the ballistics, the less powerful they are, the more shotguns they can be used. Conversely, if the ballistics are narrower and narrower, there will naturally be fewer hits, but the power concentrated on one point will jump, and apparently the range will be much longer than when used with shotguns. I've tried a lot of things and found out.

The more precise it is, the better it will be, like a sniper rifle, maybe a kilometer away. Without the most scope, I don't have that much vision.

Raise the strike iron and pull the trigger. With the impact of bang, a bright red band stretched straight from the muzzle, and the rock wall that depicted the mat was cut through the mat. There are still as many gunshot wounds as softballs.

Recoil (recoil) when shooting is also slightly different from ordinary guns. Ordinary guns usually bounce up, but this feels like the whole thing is trembling at the moment of firing. I'm still a little used to that. It's a pretty habitual gun, but I guess I'll have to get used to it.

"In the meantime, I'd like to be able to control the range, width, and power so I can use it as a regular gun. As it is, it's still a flamethrower."

The only way to give orders to the Spirit Gun is to imagine it in your head anyway. But I can't believe I'm just thinking in my head, so I really don't know if the instructions have been properly conveyed.

The tacket bent over to the fire nearby and walked around with a stick. Then, avoid the bright red Magic Stone bullets filled with spirits outside the fire. It is still hot, so I will keep it a little exposed to outside air and cool.

Then, I removed the used Magic Stone bullet from the spiritual gun rotary magazine onto the palm of my hand. All of them have turned to a dark black colour after use. Now I threw it into the fire.

In the case of the Spirit of Fire, the Spirit accumulates just enough because the Spirit's momentum is strong. Thanks to Marie-san's spare bullet, it's useful for practice.

Conversely, water, wind, and earth magic bullets took hours to days for spirits to accumulate, so I couldn't practice much.

Hearing the scratching sound of the trees and the light footsteps of a tap, the tacket raised its face from the fire.

Chante on Ulu, who came to pick me up through the woods, looked down at us.

"Taketo, it's time to go back or the sun will set."

"Yeah, I know. Thank you for coming to pick me up. Have you finished walking in Ulu?

"Yeah, I've been running a lot. And this."

When Chante came down from Ur, he gave the basket he had in his back to the tacket.

Hmm?

Picking up the basket and looking inside, there was a cookie wrapped in a cute cloth. However, the shape is quite distorted. Something that looks like a crushed pig, something that is not even round or oval.

"I was interrupting Marie-chan today. Marie-san taught me that and I made it. Ah, that's it. I tried to shape Ulu's face. Isn't it cute?"

Nevertheless, Chante smiles happily.

Watch out. This was Ulu. I felt relieved in my heart that I didn't have to say it was like a broken pig, and the tacket took the cookie in one hand and carried it to my mouth.

It's soft and sweet.

The flavor was just delicious because Marie-san helped me.

"Delicious. Thank you."

You don't even eat chante? When I tried to return the basket, I was refused because I, Marie-san, had filled it with tea for the afternoon.

"Marie-chan, that was just the Knight Commander's house, and it was an amazing house. It's always strange, but I wonder why your wife comes to such a tiny department. It cleans a lot."

"Come on, making sweets just seemed like a hobby. Sugar and purified wheat are certainly quite expensive... I don't have to assume that noble classes can use them all the time. But thanks to the Magic Stone Bullets Marie-san made, I'm going to be able to help you practice. Ah, then...."

Feeling the atmosphere of the tacket, Chante said, "What? And he turned to me.

"Hmm... the other day, the ring. I'm sorry? Karon told me what it meant to give that ring to a girl... Um... you know... I didn't mean it at all....."

It was a tacket that was hard to say, but Chante replied with a giggle.

"I know that. Taketos are people from different worlds. Sometimes I forget because I usually understand the words. It's only natural that we don't know our customs yet."

Yes, Chante had long, beautiful silver hair in her ears stirred by the wind. After a while, Chante's murmuring voice reaches Taketo's ear.

"Taketo... I hope you'll stay forever. Here."

Huh?

I suddenly answered the words. What do you mean? I almost got the word out, but Chante kept saying it before I could say it.

"Me. I've been with Ulu for a long time. I thought it would be okay if Ulu were here. But... I've been thinking lately that it's nice to have someone to talk to."

(What is it? I wonder if anyone who can talk...)

What a disappointment, after that? What was I expecting right now? I don't really understand myself.

Anyway. Chante's feelings can be seen in the tacket.

(Maybe we're similar.)

That's what I think. A girl who was separated from her family and comforted by Fenrir. When I was a child, I was buried by animals with loneliness that I couldn't get along with my family.

It is interesting to think that two people with such common denominators now live under the same roof, even though the place where they were born and the world where they grew up are different.

"I'm here. Until Ur and Chante kicked me out....."

I don't have to guess where else to go, and I don't miss the original world at all. Still, I think I'll stay here while she needs me.

Because I think this is the best place for me now.
