“Once upon a time, there was a foolish demon.” Fang Jingmo suddenly said, interrupting Bai Zhi’s words: “It had not yet cultivated its human form, it was dim-witted and also didn’t know how to find things for when it was hungry. When it saw nestlings inside of their nest crying out to eat, it climbed up into the nest and also followed after them and cried out. As a result, it was pecked all over by the mother bird, and uglily tried to frantically escape back into its cave-dwelling.”

Fang Jingmo’s voice was nonchalant: “Is it funny?”

Bai Zhi shook his head as if his life depended on it.

But Fang Jingmo slightly hooked his lips: “It’s funny.”

Bai Zhi didn’t have the slightest idea of what integrity was, and immediately changed to nodding: “It’s funny.”

Fang Jingmo turned his head as he slowly parked his car.

“We’ve arrived, get out.”

“Really? You’re not hungry?” Liu Yi took another bite.

There was a weird silence all around for a moment. Liu Yi glanced at him, tilting her head. Her tone was dragged very long: 

“So that’s how it is ah.”

Formal ver of ‘you’ is used.熊猫 means panda, but if you separate it, 熊 means bear and 猫 means cat. I put bear-cat since it fits the context. Xu Feng is being sarcastic.Formal version of ‘you’ which is in accordance with his sarcasm.This ‘he’ here refers to Xu Feng. Then the next ‘he’ refers to Bai Zhi.The big brother is referring to Fang Jingmo if you’ve forgotten that Bai Zhi is now Fang Jingmo’s ‘little brother’. Although, the system and he just agreed with that. He thinks it’s a game, LOL.他 can be he/him/his but it is still a gender-neutral term. So, Liu Yi is using 他 as ‘she’, but Bai Zhi is using 他 as ‘he/him/his’, 他(he), 她(she), and 它(it) also sound the same.

Zenne: Hahhhhh, finally done. I could translate 3k chaps in 2 days or so but then it just makes me not wanna translate for a while. So, hope you can bear with these updates that come every 5 days or so. This arc is soon ending and I’m not looking forward to the next arc since I found it kinda boring. But, some of you guys might enjoy it so, whatever. There are also two phrases that I’m kinda iffy about, so I’ll fix those soon.
