I Am Undying

"Yeah, actually, you called at a perfect time. Why'd you called when its pretty late?", Rin asked since it's pretty weird.

"… Just wanted to say goodnight, I guess..?", Dana weakly answered.

Upon hearing this, Rin was hit by a sudden jolt. He wanted to cry, 'God! I want to hug her right now!', he clenched his fist.

"Is that weird?", Dana worried.

"No! Of course not!", Rin panicked.

"Really? Then goodnight.", Dana mutely laugh at the other side of the phone.

Rin smiled, "Goodnight…", then he heard hummed before she hung up the phone, Click*

Rin looked above the ceiling as if it was far away. His face filled with emotions, "God… do I deserve such happiness?", then his face formed a smile ear to ear and he ran to his bedroom then jumped into the bed and hugged a pillow. "Dana~!"

Next morning…. Rin woke up exactly 6:00 in the morning. He have one hour to prepare to school. Instead of drowsiness, Rin woke up with energy. He immediately went into the bath for a shower.

After the bath, he looked at himself reflected on the mirror. Without a doubt, his body toned much better. But he didn't have time to admire himself since first, he have no idea how to admire himself, this is the first time that he felt that way to himself, "Is this confidence Master was talking about?", he asked himself on the mirror and second he have to prepare his own breakfast.

Fortunately, he bought bread and chocolate fillings but he have to get into clothes first. After he changed, he went to the kitchen the groceries he bought are still all bagged.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to organized them in place…", he search for the bread and the chocolate filling and quickly made a sandwich. To not to take much time, he only ate one.

After that he got everything ready, Rin look into his wallet. He then realized something, 'Wait, what happened to Mom, now? I wasn't able to got back for three weeks because so many things happened but no one is available to take care of her.', Rin saddened and thought, 'I really am a failure of a son.'

"I should visit that hospital again later. I even spend her money and I forgot her. Such foolness… I was too overwhelmed by these new feelings.", Rin clutched his chest for moment but he shook his head and said, "No, what am I doing? I already changed, I should be optimistic… think of something that will make you happy. Think of something that will make you happy.", Dana's cutely angry face flashed his mind then his mouth formed that kind of smile again."

Rin reached the front gate of the school. Many students were passing and entering the school. He went in normally.

'Strange, nobody was even looking at me. Before, they would look at me with disdain and disgust. Did they forgot who I am?', Rin asked himself but he did not worry that much.

Only when he entered his classroom did he caught the eye of his classmates.

Everyone reacted and whispered to each other:

"Huh? He went back?"

"I thought that he will never go back here again."

"Did something just happened at their house and unable to give notice to the school?"

"Go ask him what happened."

"Seriously? Do you know what you are talking about? If you talked to him, he will be just too scared to reply."

"Ah, sorry, I forgot that it's Rin we're talking about. I don't know but he have an unusual aura today."

The whole class have their own topic about Rin but some just ignored and felt that the pain in the eyes are back. Their moods suddenly became sour.

Rin just ignored it and went to his seat but someone pulled his back. He turned and saw Dana.

'Ah~ I finally saw her…', Rin's mood suddenly became great.

"Good morning…", Dana smiled as she rolled her eyes up to make eye contact to Rin.

"Good morning.", Rin smiled back.

Many are still looking at Rin and of course the witnessed this scene. Their eyes widened up, their eyeballs almost fell off.

'Why did they gave off an aura of a… couple?!', a lightning flashed in their heads. Their brains were not believing it but it's right in front of their eyes and why is Dana smiling right now? Isn't she always cold and emotionless, what happened?!

The guys felt blessed when they saw Dana's cute smile but were jealous of Rin since he's obviously the one who made her smile but nonetheless, they thanked him in their heart each time they see Dana's smile.

Rin and Dana went to their seat when Teacher Hannah showed up. She held many subjects so it is not surprising that she's their first subject teacher.

Teacher Hanna was surprised to see that Rin went back to school. She narrowed her eyes and called Rin, "Rin, it's surprising that you came back. You will come to my office after this. I need you to give me an excuse."

Rin wanted to laugh at himself but he didn't want this further kind of attention so he was quiet. He just nodded back and smiled.

Then just right after, the door opened abruptly and Marjohn who was catching his breath came in, he shouted, "Sorry, I'm late!"
