I Am Undying

"Ah, I almost forgot to tell you; don't go home after school yet. That is the time I will tutor you three." Dana felt that she was blabbering more than usual so she got to the point.

"Umm, yeah, got it." Rin nodded.

"Well, then." Dana politely nodded her head too and turned around to get back on her seat and eat her lunch. All of her movements was very ladylike that Rin was unable to remove his stare from her.

Noticing that he may look creepy if he stare any further, he turned his head to his lunch and dug in. While chewing, his mind was blank…

'Hmm…'

'Hmm!'

'Wait!'

'WAIT!! Did I just have a proper conversation with a girl and with Dana on top of that?!'

'What?'

He strongly felt admiration toward this pretty and cute but cold girl but he wouldn't dare have a crush on her. He knew he would only got hurt. No girl would fall for him, he thought.

Rin's heart wouldn't calm down. It is not because he fell for Dana but because there is a tutoring session with her after school. However, his heart was actually palpitating because of anxiety. Afterschool he would have to stay with his biggest bully, Marjohn, for an unknown amount of time and in front of two cute girls on top of that.

Of course for a nerd and a loser like him, he was unable to calm down, anxious about what would happen to him.

Ding Ding Ding!* after what it felt like weeks, the afternoon classes ended and it is time for Dana's tutoring session…

Beside the door outside of the classroom was Dana standing there waiting for the others.

When Dana saw Rin, she casually greeted him.

Rin obviously didn't replied not because he don't want to but he couldn't. So he just stood beside Dana to wait with her. Rin felt extremely uncomfortable in the awkward atmosphere he created but when he glimpsed at Dana. She seemed to not be affected and was just staring at the windows in the hallway silently.

Rin was actually a head taller than her so he could look at her without the one being observed noticing him.

He is very weak to temptation, he knew that he could fall for her if he continued to stare but he still did not look away.

"Ah, Dana!"

"Ah!" Rin almost jump out of surprise because he was caught off guard.

Dana stared at him and also the one who called Dana, Sylvie, but has a frowned eyebrows. She seemed pretty irritated at Rin just because of that.

Rin could not see what is inside her face mask but she is probably frowning in there too.

Sylvie just ignored Rin's sudden reaction and spoke, "Umm, Dana, I'm sorry for getting you into this but you don't need to tutor me. I just burrowed some lectures from someone. I can take care of it myself."

Sylvie felt a little relieved and felt kindness from Dana. She was grateful, "Thanks Dana, then see you later." She nodded and walked away. She seemed like a kind girl but she still felt irritated towards Rin. Am I really that obnoxious to other people, Rin thought once more.

"She's a kind girl, don't you think?" Without waiting for Rin to answer like to she's only talking to herself, she continued, "But even for a kind girl, you are obnoxious."

"Hehe…. Did you read my mind just now?" Rin's tone was one of acceptance and dejection.

"But why is that?" Dana continued to ask but this time, she waited for an answer. Her cute face was directed in front of Rin.

"Well…. If only I know then that would be great." Rin said with a sad and heavy tone.

"Why don't you know?" Suddenly amidst her words was spoken in a more bland way and with speed, "I just told you earlier that you act like a nerd but is actually stupid. That is one reason but there is more. You can't read the mood or the atmosphere and you're always destroying it. You being weak is not funny for others…"

"Wait! Then why did you asked if you know more than me?! Are you actually mocking me?!"

Dana stopped and stared in front of her and nodded. The edge of her lips curved a little.

The mouth of Rin almost turned a perfect circle when he saw Dana do that. There is only one thing in his head right now, it was nothing but repeating thoughts of 'How cute! How cute!'.

Realizing that he might further fall, he took a small step away from her.

Dana obviously noticed this and also took a small step closer to him.

'Huh??'

"Uh! Hey, Dana…-"

"Ah!" Rin almost jump out of surprise again.

Dana now looked at him with a curious eyes. Her lips was covered with a soft knuckled hand.

The one who called Dana this time was Marjohn who clicked his tongue and glared at Rin.

Seeing how Marjohn glare at him, Rin immediately turn his head to avoid eye contact. He shivered at the mere thought of Marjohn doing something to him just because of this.

Dana ignored the two and calmly said, "Since we're completed, let's go to the library."

"Sure." Marjohn ignored Rin and followed Dana with a smile. It is very clear that this guy has a crush on Dana.

Rin silently followed behind...

On the library, when they are already seated, Dana suddenly asked, "What part of the test did you not understand to be clear?"

Marjohn who was on the opposite seat from Dana said, "I guess, some of it since I only didn't get to review that is why I did not do that well." He laughed and scratched the back of his head. He was glad he did though or he won't have this chance.

Then without saying anything, Dana looked at Rin.
