I Am Undying

"Go! Faster!", Elihim kicked a car in front, a simple kick without any strength behind that made the car thrusts backward by itself. Along within it, Rin was dragged, connected by a rope around his waist and tied in front of the car.

Rin started to get skinny again as he shouted, "I've doing this for four hours already!", he spitted blood from the dryness of his throat.

Even though he is now more resilient to pain, he can still feel it.

Elihim was quiet and walked passed the car about ten meters. Nobody knew where he got it or when but he was already holding a stick as if from the very beginning. He drew a line opposite to the back of the car.

"If you passed this line then I forbid you..", Elihim eyes narrowed at the same time he smirked, "to meet or even talk to Dana any longer."

Rin looked at Elihim, looking guilty, slowly became more skinny overtime as he tried to run with the car. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Rin already knew what was going to happen.

Inside the car, behind the steering wheel, the key suddenly turned and the "N" lighted green.

Rin panicked when he heard the car turned on.

The clutch inside the car turned "Reverse", all by itself. As if something were placed on the gas, the speedometer slowly went up to 10mph and still continuing to go on.

The car went backwards pulling Rin who was struggling to run. Nerves revealed themselves on Rin's skinny forehead.

However, a human as weak as Rin could never outmatch a running car but he still continued to forced himself.

"Arrghh!!!", Rin's eyes were rolled backwards while his dried mouth's remaining liquid were drooling out. His face was so red that it looked like that blood was about to gush out.

But he still chose to persevere only focusing on one thing, 'I want to talk to her again!'

The car stayed at 10mph, never increasing. Elihim doesn't want to "rush" Rin too much. He never really has intentions of restricting Rin's potential love life. Every achievement builds confidence and that what Rin needs right now.

Rin spout out some blood. He never did stop though. Seeing blood out of him just became the norm for him.

Rin knew that just a little bit more, he would be restricted to talk to Dana and he doesn't want that. His muscles were about to snap and felt really weak. No energy left.

"Oh, here comes the cheat.", Elihim chuckled, "But we don't want that yet."

The car stopped as Elihim sighed but Rin still absorbed the Natural Energy and his body glowed faint blue.

The car passed the 10mph and went to 20mph. However, this time, Rin was actually the one that was winning and pulling the car away from the line drawn by Elihim.

"Wow", Elihim reacted sarcastically when Rin was dragged away by the car eventually, "Ahaha, weak, too weak." But Elihim was not disappointed at Rin at all.

Elihim walked over to where Rin was dragged by the car. I said walk but actually Rin was dragged about a kilometer away when the car reached 50mph and Elihim needed a little magic to help him teleport a significant distance every step.

Elihim crouched near the exhausted Rin and noticed that he was back to his usual appearance. Rin's chest was heaving up and down from exhaustion but Natural Energy helped his breathing and healed every wound from being dragged on.

"It's really unsightly that he had to become skinny and normal again and again. He really need to control the manipulation of it so that he won't need the help of the contract anymore.", Elihim poked Rin's cheeks, "Hahaha, after a thousand years, what will you become? Haaa, but lets not go over ourselves." He sighed.

Elihim was just talking to himself and thought that Rin collapsed already that he didn't checked it and was surprised when Rin's lips moved and he heard an almost inaudible words, "Master… did I fail..?"

"Yeah, very.", Elihim replied without hesitation, "But I'm not serious about the consequence of failing though."

"Ahh… that's great..", Rin made a peaceful expression.

Elihim smiled, "I guess, I should give you a minute break.", Rin didn't reply, probably already sleeping.

After exactly one minute…

Elihim kicked Rin so hard that Rin almost flew but was stopped by the car, pulling him. His body plopped onto the ground. Obviously, he had already woken up and when he landed he curled to the part where Elihim kicked him.

"Agh!", Rin spout blood, his face was frowned when he opened his eyes and looked at his master and when he was about to complain, he felt a sudden pressure.

"I said minute break, no complain.", Elihim said with his usual smile.

When the pressure disappeared, Rin stood and knew that he had to continue but because of the Natural Energy, he was rejuvenated.

"Is this a cheat?", he looked at his hands and turned to his master.

"That is what I call it.", Elihim shrugged his shoulders.

Rin nodded. Now that he agreed to become a disciple of this God who was ruthless enough to kill on a whim, he was long been expecting a hellish and strict training but he didn't expect it to be easy, between his master and him of course but when talking about the training itself, Rin sure wasn't wrong about being hellish.

When Rin determined himself to start again and repeat this hellish round, he ran. He ran slowly…

Then he stopped and looked back at the car he was dragging. "Wait."

"What? Why are you stopping?"

"Before, I couldn't even walk properly but now, I can jog even if it's slowly…?"
