Flashback continuation:

Twenty-five years ago Grandpa Go and Mrs. Tan accidentally met in a function hosted by an acquaintance to both of them. Mrs. Tan's husband was still alive; then, they all had a chat for the sake of the good old times.

Mrs. Tan and Granpa Go had a pretty good conversation. They mainly talked about good old times, how they were so in love with each other, but ended up marrying other people.

They reminisced how they were not fated to be together. However, it did not stop them from playing matchmakers instead. They figured that if they were not fated to be together, how about their descendant... There was just one issue with their idea; they couldn't match-make their children since both had their own families already. This was how Jeff became involved, with him ending up with a fiancée at birth.

Jeff's mother recently gave birth to him, but on the other hand, Mrs. Tan's son had no children yet.

They decided that Mrs. Tan's first Granddaughter would be Jeffs future wife. The agreement was signed, stamped, and delivered.

Three years passed and still no grandchildren on Mrs. Tan's side of the family. Her only son Albert Tan was not interested in having a child with his current wife; he was doing everything in his power not to get her impregnated. He would always go out of the country for business staying months at a time, living his wife all alone. The reason why he did not want to have a child with his wife was that there was another woman that he loved but couldn't marry...

One day, Albert Tan's wife at that time got pregnant. Grandpa Go and Grandma Tan were elated to hear this news. They were both praying that she gives birth to a baby girl, so their agreement and dreams of becoming in-laws could be fulfilled.

Albert Tan's wife did give birth to a baby girl, but due to her poor health, she died right after delivering, leaving a motherless child named, Claudia Tan...

Claudia was raised overseas by her grandmother, occasionally spending holidays in Asia. During one of her holiday when she was around 16 years of age, a relative invited her to a concert of the very famous "Diva" in the country.

They were seated at the front "VIP" section. That's when she saw a goddess, the most beautiful woman in the country, and rumor had it that she was still single. Claudia grew up motherless and secretly longing for a mother since her father never re-marry after her mother's death.

Claudia hatches a plan, and She will need to introduce this lady to her father, who knows if they hit it off, she could become her stepmother in the future. With Claudia's help and encouragement, Albert Tan & Sophia became husband and wife...

Grandmother Tan was now a widow and had been living abroad all these years and just recently returned to the country to attend her son's wedding to a celebrity named 'Sophia.' Grandmother Tan accepted Sophia without malice; the only thing that matters was for her son and granddaughter to be happy.

The original plan was after the wedding, grandmother Tan and Claudia would be going back overseas. But, Sophia talked them into staying in Asia, and grandmother Tan and Claudia wholeheartedly accepted. With the wedding being in social media and television, it was easy for the P.I. To locate grandmother Tan, and in turn, reported to Jeff.

Jeff was fully prepared for this meeting, ready to make all kinds of excuses to stall for time, at least four years minimum or for however long it took to convince Ann. He will bid his time, not make any contact with his wife, but help her along the way to have a smooth path to her dreams. At the same time, he will find fault with this girl (fiancée) to be able to cancel the marriage agreement.

When Jeff arrived at the meeting, he was greeted with Mrs. Tan and Claudia, who was now 17 years of age. Claudia was not interested in marrying an older guy; she already had a crush on one of the trainees in her stepmother's agency.

Therefore, it made it much easier for Jeff when Claudia herself made an excuse that she was still too young to get married and wanted to wait until she turned 21 and then they will see from there. She continued saying: "We don't need to announce our engagement, for now. We can wait when the time comes if that's alright with you?" Claudia looked at Jeff with contempt in her eyes.

Jeff couldn't believe his luck; he quickly replied. "That's fine with me, and I have no issue with that whatsoever."

"If there's no issue between the parties, I will go along with that." Replied Mrs. Tan, she then turned her attention to her granddaughter and asked. "Claudia, this is what you want, right?"

"Yes!" Claudia replied in a heartbeat.

Jeff left in a hurry to inform his grandfather of the result... He couldn't' believe what had just happened, and he got his wish... 4 years of freedom, until then... he didn't have to deal with this fiancée. He was so happy that he was jumping with joy.

Until such time, when they would need to announce their engagement while his already a married person. That's when the dilemma would arise...
