Hunting College

Chapter 14: Public-funded students cannot afford pets

Zheng Qing stood in front of the door of Sanyou Bookstore, looking blank.

Starting from the age of eight to practice calligraphy with her husband, Zheng Qing spent her childhood, adolescence, and entered the youth in Sanyou Bookstore. Ten years can make people forget many things, but also make people remember many things.

Such as the name of the bookstore, the layout of the bookstore, the taste of the bookstore.

The name and layout of the Sanyou Bookstore in front of me is exactly the same as the shop opened by my husband, only the taste is slightly different.

Because this bookstore is closed, it has a more desolate atmosphere.

The door of the bookstore was closed tightly, and a thick layer of dust fell under the eaves and on the edge of the windows. Depending on the situation, no one came.

Zheng Qing stepped forward and looked into the study room through the dim glass, it was pitch black.

There are one or two green light spots.

He wasn't sure if he was dazzled.

"Textbooks are to be bought at Sanwei Bookstore." Thomas shouted not far away: "Here!"

Zheng Qing patted the dust on his hands and left the window sill in shock.

In the room, a yellow lily blinked, sneezed, and blew up the dust.

Across the stationery store, the situation of the two bookstores is completely opposite.

There are many guests at Sanwei Bookstore, and most of them are young people coming and going.

According to Thomas, this shop, like Yun Xiangyi, belongs to the first university’s cooperative business. Many of the school’s procurement requirements are based on their standards.

"The first university, a compulsory textbook for freshmen. Public students." Thomas said concisely to the clerk behind the counter.

"Wait a moment." The clerk showed a professional standard smile, wrote a few words with a pen, rubbed the paper, and threw it out.

The paper ball floated into the air and turned into a flying crane. It flied along the aisle to the store and went.

"Why is the next bookstore closed?" Zheng Qing looked at the paper crane enviously, and asked casually: "These two bookstores have such similar names, are they the same owner?"

Intuitively told him that the closed Sanyou Bookstore next to him is the Sanyou Bookstore opened by the husband.

But why the husband left here to live in seclusion in his ordinary community is very debatable.

The conspiracy, love and hate, revenge and many other links in countless martial arts stories are circling in Zheng Qing's mind.

He can only be cautious, knocking sideways, lest he cause trouble to the husband.

The stiff smile of the clerk at Sanwei Bookstore did not change a bit. He looked ahead and did not react to Zheng Qing's question.

Thomas glanced at him and replied slowly, "It's nothing more than the boss. There are so many closed shops in the mall. You have time to care about this. Why don't you care about what is on the list? I have to rush thousands of them tonight. Miles, fill out a report."

Zheng Qing felt his gaze had profound meaning, and quickly put out the thought of continuing to ask.

"Your things, please put away." The paper crane flew back to the counter with a cardboard box. The clerk smiled mechanically, opened the wooden box, and pushed it in front of Thomas.

"Huh." Thomas glanced, and pulled Zheng Qing to the box: "Check the list."

Zheng Qing took out the list full of books and counted them one by one.

"Yao Xiaomi's standard spell, Emma's astronomy, Zhang-Sima's basic talisman, Li Qihuang's potion, Yi Jiazi's divination, big history, Karl's magic philosophy...what is this?" Zheng Qing raised the count to the end. A book with a very simple binding asked: "Is it wrong if this is not in the book list?"

"This is the admission guide from the school. Every year, freshmen get lost in the school or accidentally hurt the kappa in Linzhong Lake. So the old students of the Student Union compiled this book to let you avoid walking in the school. A little detour." Thomas sighed, "Although this book is poorly bound, it is worth taking a look."

Zheng Qing nodded, and stuffed the book "Into the First University" into the cardboard box.

"Give the book list to the clerk." Thomas ordered.

Zheng Qing handed the pan-green book list to the stiff-faced clerk.

The clerk held the piece of paper in front of his eyes, his eyes widened, his eyes squeaky and protruding, shooting out two golden rays, and scanning the book list several times.

When the book list returned to his hand, Zheng Qing found that the series of books on it had disappeared. Those names that disappeared are staying in these boxes beside him.

"You don't have the space and equipment?" Thomas looked curiously at the appearance of Zheng Qing preparing to carry the box, and couldn't help asking.

"Ah, you said that, I have it." Zheng Qing couldn't help looking around, his face flushed: "My husband didn't let me use this outside at will."

As he said, he stretched out his hand and took out the palm-sized gray cloth bag embroidered with golden runes, and shook the mouth of the bag against the stacked boxes.

Several boxes suddenly turned into a streamer and got into the bag.

"Very beautiful pockets." The stiff-faced clerk suddenly praised Zheng Qing by the side.

He always thought that these shop assistants would only execute mechanical problems programmatically.

Before leaving the bookstore, UU read www.uukanshu. Com Zheng Qing looked back at the Sanyou Bookstore next to him.

The cold gate looks so unique in the bustling Four Seasons Square.

He decided to find his husband as soon as possible after returning home to ask for more information.

Thomas frowned, walking slowly in front of him, as if thinking about something.

The two fell into a strange and quiet atmosphere for a while.

It wasn't until they passed several pet shops and the chattering noise of the small animals in the cages outside the shops broke the silence between them again.

A slender falcon stood on the eaves looking forward to his prestige, arrogantly looking down at all beings.

In the mud nest under the eaves, a few swallows are looking around with their heads exposed; on the mortise and tenon rack next to them, there are a few dozing black bats.

On the wall, two lizards probing their slender claws, strolling around slowly, spit out bright red tongues from time to time to intimidate those buzzing flies.

In the open space in front of the shop, three milk cats are beating a fat big mouse violently, and a rabbit next to it is holding his radish with relish.

"These little things are so funny!" Zheng Qing grinned at the poor big mouse and muttered.

"Yes!" Thomas regained his senses, with a satisfied smile on his face: "The biggest difference between us wizards and Bai Ding is our awe and love for nature, as well as our good friendship with these nature partners. As a wizard , You don’t like spells, but you don’t like these little animals."

"Then can I buy one?" Zheng Qing was shocked when he heard the words, and quickly raised his head, with a trace of desire in his eyes.

"No." Thomas shook his head simply, "You are a public-funded student at the school, and the scholarship is only enough for you to prepare learning tools. Even your living expenses have to figure out your own way, not to mention pets."
