HIS COLD WIFE

"Did you not hear me fight them off!" He shouted. The man trembled and was submissive to his leader even if he knew at this point they could only fail.

Kenny had no intention of backing off. He felt that the one that needed to die here today is not him. After all it was him who had fought all his life to get where he is today. He deserves to win and get everything in his hands.

It's not like Anna wants anything from the Ross family. If he were not a threat she would let him keep it all. But how can she let this man keep threatening her family and friends? Whether blood-related or not they still hold an important place in her heart.

" Fire." Anna mouthed. Christine nodded and lifted two of her fingers in the hair. Earlier they had secretly surrounded the Lakehouse. They had each theme on different sides. Anna and her team covered the left side of the house while Sarah and Jack had the back. Rose and Christine covered the front while Damon and his team covered the right side. A separate team covered the boats near the lake to make sure nobody would be able to escape.

Despite looking relaxed and focused Anna felt extremely tense. She had a bad feeling that things might not go as planned again tonight. She decided to wait for the first team to attack and she would go on the third. Kenny would expect her to bravely confront him in the front line. Knowing this she stayed where he could not suspect.

She would secretly sneak into his base anyway. In her ear she heard Damon's voice. "We can do it.Together." She heard him say. "Mhh together." She responded and as soon as those words left her mouth gunshots were heard everywhere.

Two teams started moving forward attacking fiercely. She would also shoot once in a while but her turn was yet to come. She saw there were a few more men on Kenny's side than expected so she started calculating other options. She had already come in mind with different kinds of circumstances.

Minutes passed and now everyone was in the battle. Everyone was already in the fight including Damon. Anna smiled. She took her gun and pointed at the man behind her. The bullet penetrated through the man's skull and he fell on the ground with a bath of blood around him. Behind him came the next and this time Anna ran towards him with unbelievable speed.

Using a shoebox-sized rock on the ground she jumped on it and lifted her body in a 90-degree angle, hitting the man unconscious with her feet. She twirled around in the air and shot 3 times at another 3 men from her enemy.

She landed steadily behind a small hill. She placed more bullets on her gun and put it in her waistband. She then took out two knives from her leg. She put them on between her fingers and came back out.

As she walked calmly every time she came across any person working for her enemy she used the knives to stab them once in their guts.

"Such a bloody scene." She mumbled. After killing a few dozens she finally arrived where she needed to be.

Damon on the other hand was faced with 5 men from their enemy. As they all came towards him at once he shot the first man in his heart and lifted him up. As the other three men aimed at him they ended up shooting the already dead man. He threw the man he used as a shield on the ground and hit the next man in the groin with his gun.

The man behind him received a powerful punch from him and the third received a kick. Not long after they were also on the floor; dead.

Looking around Damon met Anna's eyes and they both nodded. They were already in their positions.

Sarah, who needed to go to her position next sighed when she saw two more men approaching. She shot the first one and then the next. One of them died instantly but the next was only hit in the shoulder. Since he was bulky and twice her size he attempted to tackle her but she kept fighting. She threw a few punches and lifted his jaw with the tip of her palm. As he was distracted she dug her fingernails in his injured arm making him shout in pain. She used her knee to kick him in the groin. She picked up her gun and shot him twice on his chest.

Once he had fallen on the ground dead she ran to her position and kicked the door open. Once the house door was open she moved aside as Rose's side started shooting the man who tried to defend their side. Jack's team used the opportunity to invade and swiftly entered the house killing as many men as possible.

Many were only left unconscious for interrogation afterward. Kenny, who had been in the room clenched his fists.

Through the back door Damon and Anna met. Anna used one of the men that came behind her and she jumped on top of his arm. She flipped in the air and landed on top of Damon. Both of them shot the rest of the man together. Getting down from him Anna kicked the door handle of the back door open.

As people shot towards their side both Anna and Damon were pressing each other's backs together. "We're surrounded." He told her. Anna didn't let any expression be shown on her face. Right now they aren't lovers and they aren't married. Right now they are Queen and King of the underworld. Right now they are both leaders joining hand to defeat their enemy.

" That time when you were tortured and apparently saved by Linda...it was Kenny wasn't it?" She asked as she shot the first man dead.

Damon frowned and grabbed her wrist and put her in his embrace. He then shot two men in front of them. Anna shot 3 men behind them. Letting go of her Damon ran to punch one of the men on his abdomen. He then held his neck and twisted it. The man fell down on the ground dead as well as the one Damon shot right beside him.

"How did you know that?" He asked. Anna kicked the next man on him and pushed him against the floor. She then slid under his body and let him receive the bullets from his team member. While one-shot the other thinking it was her, Anna shot the two men in front of her dead.

Meeting again with him back to back she shook her head. "You're even jealous of a dead man?" She scoffed. " It's still a man." He responded.
